Hi everyone, I saw the m/w this morning who was concerned about the lack of movement although the heartbeat was ok. Ive been in hosp this afternoon to be monitiored but everything is fine and Ive been sent home again.

They wont do a sweep until im 41 weeks.

I seem to get pains/cramps every afternoon for a couple of hours and then they ease off to nothing this has been happening for over a week now - strange.

Freddy hope you sweep went ok and it starts things off for you soon

sarah - all the things they write on your notes! I got all excited when I saw 2/5, until she said it's irrelevant!

Midwife came out this afternoon (she's a star!) apparently my killing pain is the head engaging another 1/5 overnight - so I'm now a total of 3/5. Apparently it's probably hurting as the baby is likely to be bigger than ds (he was 7lb 14 at birth) and also I'm nowhere near as fat as last time! Bugger! I told dh and he got all excited - until I pointed out the midwife said the same as yesterday - it's totally irrelevant!

Apparently it's moved too - she won't tell me if it's back facing or forward, she says it doesn't matter which is odd as I thought it did.

And like you sarah, she wouldn't entertain even having a look below! You can tell I'm desperate now, the mw looking down there was a thing of horror when I was pg with ds, now I'd let anyone have a poke in an attempt to get this baby out quicker!

Luna - that now makes sense re the crampy pain! My dd hasn't been engaged before now and last week started with the pain. When I saw mw today, said dd was engaged. Just keep praying for more cramps like those if it's gets things moving down!!!!

charlie jayne, born at 3:09am on 9th August weighing 6lb 7oz.
dark hair, dark blue eyes.
48hrs before i was induced, 3hrs i went from 1 to 8cm but i had to have an
emergency section after the baby's heartbeat was dropping.

LOTS OF LOVE AND CONGRATS HUN, you did sooo sooo well.

Im feeling quite rough right now cant finsih my dinner , cant really type too well. Ive had tightenings all afternon and evening. Feel quite sick and may be leaking not sure , just feels like it. Im gonna do my bath , oils , cd ritual and see if I can sleep, domt wnat to get al hopes up , and must try and not get any adrenalin kicking in , so gonna try and be calm and quiet.

Welcome Angeliz Im also due around the 30th/ 31st so looks like it will be me and you at the end as everyone else is pop pop popping ooohh Melsy heres hoping things are getting going for you finally hope you are ok today. how is everyone else today? well I hope. Im feeling good today going to attack the remaining mess with a vengence today in the hope of getting lots done as its now starting to really pee me off. Cant wait to see it all finished and with everyone popping early Ive decided i had better get a spurt on. Good luck to anyone who is at midwife or consultant today let us all know how you get on and good luck to those whose due date is today.

Hi Dreamy, you sound bright and breezy this morning. ive been awake since 5.00am with slight period type pains but there is no regularity to them. Ive resigned myself to the fact that im probably going to go over by a week or two. Ive got a quiet day to myself today so should do some house work and then might meet a friend for lunch.

morning Trix. Im feeling far from bright and breezy this morning. Postman woke me up and really need to be a bit more organised today. Boys at golf at 9 this morning and hoping girls will spend the day clearing the rest of their room out so it can be decorated. Sounds like things might be kicking off today with you though how exciting Its proving to be a really productive week.
