Here we go......

hi everyone not long got back from midwife. She said baby is big still measuring over 40 weeks now and she thought she would be bigger than last one who was 9lb 1 she told me to have lots of sex and said she didnt think hospital would let me go to far over. I dont have to go back to see her again now am at hospital to see consultant next wednesday. Making a curry tonight and who knows might even get some sex if im not too out of practice best pack babies bag first just in case

Just a quick update while I've got 5 mins.

Molly Anne May was born this afternoon at 13.38 at home using a birthing pool. Gas and air only arrived at last minute so didn't get much use of that. Feeling very tired and sore. Tried breastfeeding but the little bugger has got one tooth and has chewed me raw! Straight on bottle after that! She weighed 7lb 11oz and has got a large thatch of hair! Will post more when I'm not so tired.

omg well done sarahlou cant believe you are up and about and posting on here so soon. Ive heard of babies being born with teeth but I cant imagine what it must be like I love the name Molly too wishing you and your family every happiness and look forward to hearing about your new baby when you are feeling more rested xxx

just been for another long walk - I'm exhausted. reflexology tomorrow,so i'm hoping.....

Congratulations to those who have recently become mummies. Today is my offical due date but no signs!!! Have had lower back aches all day and have had the need to empty bowels a few times- sorry tmi!!!

Isn't it funny how you excitedly wait for your due date and the anticipation of it all- but then it comes...and goes... and you start to think that it's not real- that I am not really going to have a baby! Oh well, have got consultant app on Wed so will be interesting to see what they say.

Not into trying the curry as went off that big style at start of preg. Been taking raspberry leaves capsules( when I remember) and had a little bounce on my ball. Walking is dfficult as a I have had pains in my prelvis on and off throughout preg but midwife and consultant have just dismissed it- despite being in agony when getting in and out of bed- especially when you hear your bones clicking together.

Oh well will keep you posted!

hi everyone!! Just popping in real quick to say hi and hope you all have your babies soon as I know you must be frustrated!

Alex has colic so we are having a hard couple of days with him. I am feeding CONSTANTLY and he doesnt like to be put down at all and is obviously in pain and crying a lot. Breaks me & Sal's hearts really. Started him on infacol today and hoping to see an improvement very very soon!

Still thinking of you all and sorry I am so crap at keeping up on communication these days!

hi it was my due date tomorrow just popping in to say dont wish your life away enjoy it while you can im constantly falling asleep whilst feeding madam and it scares the shit out of me

I keep 'thinking' this also! Especially after the weekend I was thinking that it would come Sunday for some reason. Now it seems like it is going to stay forever...

I wish I could get dh to have some sex , have done pineapple, rasp leaf tea, curry, speed bumps...

Am going to try PinkTulips cumin tea next I think.

still here wide awake as usual dd has climbed in our bed so not much space so have decided to get up Know what you mean about wishing you could get dh to have sex my passionate night was over at 9.30 when dp fell asleep can see him being a lot of help with night routine.

Congratulations Sarahlou. Can't believe Molly has a tooth! I have heard about it but never actually met or known of anyone its happened too. Ah well at least thats one less teething trouble to go through

Still having contractions here. Coming and going although last night decided to have some of the bad stuff and had a massive show after (sorry if TMI). I then felt really sick and needed to open bowels so I thought that was it as that was how dd's labour started but still here so goodness knows what to think.

I spent hours chasing up my definate date for induction. Its finally been confirmed for Friday although I have to go in at 8pm, have the prostin at 9pm in the hope I'll go to sleep and wake up in labour or be on my way. Dh can't stop with me though which I'm not too happy about but can't have it all ways.

I might be about on MSN today if anyone wants a chat.

congratulations saralou! Molly is a beautiful name, i wanted that if we had a girl but my hubby wouldnt allow it as my mums cat is called Molly..! men are strange

Well induction day tomorrow, 4-4.30pm i have got to get there and they then start whatever procedure is needed, meens my hubby will have to go home, which makes me really anxious! went for 2 walks yesterday ate a pineapple, but just ended up with a sore back and nice loose bowels this morning, other half has suggested sex....it wasnt very comfortable last time, will give it a shot later though.

Well i thought last night was going to be it for me - was out all afternoon running after ds and then from teatime onwards got strong pains every 8 - 10 mins till about midnight was trying to decide when I needed to ring my mum to come and look after ds as shes an hour and a halfs drive away ..... But then they suddenly stopped and since nothing!

Am off for my overdue appt with consultant this afternoon so will have to see what happens then. Can't believe you're still here Yellow hopefully something will happen soon for you!

yepp deffo the norty stuff ! Midwives kept on suggesting it!

ooh I feel for u lot I really do. It very hard on the mind and spirit. I wish I could send some of what got me through it over the 2 wks of is it isnt it. Anyone going on to have their 2nd , thourroughly reccomend hypnobirthing , even if u have every drug / intervention available!!!

Wot I will say is that after NO SLEEP at all last night & 3 sessions of hrs feeding at a time , I would like one night of being preggy to get a peaceful sleep !! (NO labour again though !!)

Friday was my due date and still here - totally fed up and agree with everyone who's fed up of peole phoning to say 'Have you not had it yet??' its the most important thing to happen to us at the minute - do they really think we wouldnt phone them!
Going in to be induced at 8 am tomorrow - i've had 2 whoppers before so i begged them to not let me go so long - they wanted me to wait 10 days but i begged for a compromise at 5 days!

congrats to all the mums who've dropped already - i'll definitely be joining the list this week!

good luck with your induction tomorrow, i will be thinking of you as mine is tomorrow as well and i cant think of anything else at the moment!
