i had a sweep thursday had a show but it was browny so thats just the result of the sweep...few twinges but nothing too exciting!

Hi everyone!!!!
Well I'm still here
Its been a right ole funny few days too. As you know, had a show wed night and ever since have been having contractions so all in all now, 3 days.
Called the hospital Thursday morning who said just to stay at home until they became regular and come yesterday morning I just felt brusied and sore so rang them again. Went in, said they had concerns over babys position, scanned me, monitored me for all of 5 mins because baby was incredibly active and sent me home.

Had a MW out this lunch time for a sweep and like bugpurple said, it isn't pleasant. But the good news is that she thinks I'll go into labour in the next 2 days as she managed to stretch things well and cervix is quite thin and very ripe. She's encouraged me to sit on the rocking stool we have and to go up and down the stairs sideways, more importantly going up on the right and coming down on the left! So Ronniemummy there you go!

I spilt tea on the laptop so the keyboard wasn't working, lol but we've got a USB fitted one atm while a new one is being ordered. So if I don't post for a while you know why

Hello everyone.

Caitlin arrived yesterday at 11.45am after two hours in labour. Half an hour after I posted yesterday the pains started coming thick and fast so dashed off to the hospital and she was born within a couple of hours weighing 7lb 6oz. She is just beautiful. We came home last night and had a great first night with her.

Will catch up with you all soon properley.

my daughter got into lancaster uni by the way on a primary teaching degree thankffuly she is really happy although a changee of plan from nursing

Congratulations to the new mummies! Am due tomorrow but am fairly certain am going to go overdue again this time.

Had good day today took DS out to Cardiff Bay and played in the big sandpit and pirate ship and then DH took him on one of those old fashioned carousels witht he horses - his first ever ride - and he absolutely loved it could hear him giggling all the way round. Nearly made me cry though - you know they're not babies any more when you start doing stuff like that with them! Oh well guess I'll be getting straight back into baby stuff again soon!

Hello I'm Lockets husband if you don't already know

Well, I started to get excited again last night as contractions started coming regular, 10 mins then 8, 7, 6 , 5 but didn't have me in much pain so went to bed and suprise suprise am still here this morning!
Am still holding onto what the MW said yesterday so we'll see what happens in the next 24 hrs. Other than that it looks like induction on Friday

good morning yellow cant believe you are still hanging on to baby you need some hill walking today definitely Sarahlou and Katylou it will be your turn next how have you both been? My baby shower was brilliant last night got loads of pressies and toiletries a big cake loads of balloons and we played pin the dummy on the baby and baby bingo. Everyone had a sweep to guess the date and weight etc of baby will be interesting to see who is right. I hope its not my mum she suggested 10th september and baby will be 10lb gggrrrr anyway apart from finding places for all my new pressies to go Im going to have a fairly restful day today continuing to tidy shannons and babys room as and when I feel like. Its dps birthday tomorrow so may go out somewhere for lunch and let him have his afters when we get home iykwim

i am still here still pregnant! 6 days overdue got woken up at 3 this morning with constant period type pains - still have dull pains today, going to go for a hilly walk later in the hope to get things started. Really want it to happen naturally before my induction Wednesday, seems to early Weds....

hi girls!! just popping in to say hello and I am thinking about all of you! I bet you are all so frustrated! Does it help to say that each day that goes by you are one day closer to having your babies?? Probably not.

Sorry I havent been around much, I am thinking about you all the time but so busy I was really unprepared for how time consuming a new born is! I am hoping soon things will settle down enough that I will have more time for 'me' things but we'll see! I've given up predicting how things are going to be!

Hi eeny its lovely to hear from you and really pleased you are loving every minute of motherhood My daughter turned 18 on thursday and Im still spending every minute I have sorting uni out for her finances accomodation car etc it never ends no matter how old they are

just been to see baby purpleturtle aka Elijah and he is sooooo lovely, beautiful and perfect. PT is doing ok too, she will be on soon to fill you in.
