Here we go......

My waters didn't go until I was pushing ds out! I'm not overdue yet (due Wednesday) but could do with something starting soon. Don't really want to go over but have tried almost every start 'cure' that has been mentioned. I have planned for a home water birth so I am hoping I don't have to be induced. See my mw next Wednesday when I will be 41 weeks but want to pop well before then!

Do you have to 'drop' people are telling me that I have not even dropped yet.

Oh my god how much longer do I have to wait. Due date tomorrow and my ribs are so painful now I cant take it any longer.

Why are we all going over due? Not fair.

I am two days overdue and thinking of going to an acupuncture clinic to try and kick start my labour...any opinions ?

hiya, well 1 day over my due date its starting to drive me insane!!
tried long walks tried running up and down the stairs, raspberry tea leaf, ate a full pineappple, done all my house work scrubbed floor on hands an knees instead of using the mop.... and not a twinge.... and done the dirty deed!!! ( dp feels well and truely used ha ha )
im getting lots of strong movement but not even a braxton hick which ive been getting really strong too, think this baby is never going to come!!

r u sick of people phoning you asking if the baby is here .... or if youve got any twinges ... or panicking if you dont answer the phone!!..... ( its nice actually, to feel loved )

and has anyone elses dp turned midwife all of a sudden if i think im having a contraction he KNOWS its not one, if i crave anything its NOT A CRAVING!!

had a real spring clean today and am feel of energy that i have lacked in the last few weeks so maybe ( please god ) this is a start!!

ps anyone actually quite excited at the thought of it all straing off.... i am????? dont think im scared just really excited for it to just happen!! will be gutted if i have to be induced!!

walking around in gigantic knickers and maternity pads with unwashed hair and a crazed look
cabbage leaves down my bra that are actually cooking because my breasts are so hot - lovely smell. My husband will never want to have sex with me again.

Do I still think having more children was a good idea?
absolutely... he is divine. the softest cheeks ever. Plus the wine helps (I calculated I can down two glasses between feeds )

Had a crap night last night. Bearly slept, dh was a total arse this morning. I thought he might have taken pity on me and rung in work considering I'm now 2 days over, but no.
Luckily though my mums coming a bit later so I am going back to bed to get some rest.
Feel like I've had 10 rounds with Mike Tyson and lost them all!

good morning yellow and other fellow fatties feeling fed up this morning too. My Dp had a right moan at me too this morning what the hell is up with them all. Cant even get hold of him on his mobile as it seems to be turned off so god knows what Id do if I went into labour today. Still sorting out dds bedroom to make room for new babies things but apart from that only the bathroom left to finish doesnt look like that will be done today though.

Well, at least I'm dressed today. No plans of anything to do. Might have to persuade kids away from Cbeebies and towards getting dressed sometime soon. But dh will be back from work in half an hour, so I might leave it to him, again.

Am getting quite hacked off with how fed up I am (if that makes sense). I knew all along that I was likely to go a fortnight over, and here I am, just 2 days past due, and I've lost the will to live. Just want a baby to snuggle.

And feel like a bad mummy because I can't be bothered doing anything interesting with the kids I've already got.

Good morning, its my due date today the midwife has just been and given me a sweep. She said she could feel the babies head and the cervix was 1cm open. Other than that im booked in for an induction on the 30th August.

Please let this baby come before then.

Also, I keep having to go to the loo, ive had constipation throughout this pregnancy and now to have diarrhea. huh.

Morning all! i can only sympathise with those of you who are overdue - I still have 9 days till my due date and am fed up already! I seem to have been on countdown since i finished work 3 weeks ago! they only let you go 10 days over here so i guess i have 19 days max...and counting!!

been for some accupuncture today to see if it can calm the itching a bit. hadnt had it before but it was really relaxing - will definitely try it if i go overdue. have to go again on thursday - fingers crossed it gives me some relief.

thought i was dying in the night, woke up hot and sweaty,felt sick, diahorrea, back pain and massive tightenings.dh came in and sponged me down and when i woke up again, i felt fine! weird!

ooohhh trix how exciting the diarheoa could be a good sign anyway that things are on their way and lets hope the sweep works lots of sex and long walks although preferably not at the same time lolol good luck xx

Had a fab conversation with my MW today.
Dh rang earlier and needs a copy of my MatB1 to get more paternity pay.
So rang MW and whilst chatting I asked about a sweep again tomorrow.
She started saying "well I'm not really supposed to do them this early but I could at the weekend" (cue disappointed tone from me) "but if you were to come to your appt tomorrow and told me you have been having tightnings, I could examine you and accidently sweep your membranes"

Me very happy now!!!

yellow im not allowed out on my own for six weeks as i cant drive so i got to be careful going to hook up with the nct groups round here and see how it goes

Well day 6 of up the ante surges, been going every 7 mins since Sunday , but today its all gone up a notch in strength, although its calmer last couple of hrs TYPICAL. (TMI WARNING BEFORE READING) weirdly Im still having lots of gloopy show, it just wont stop, also had the runs all morning and I keep getting let down reflex feeling in one boob !!. Its so strange as its all following similar pattern as dd1 , same days in early labour, leaking & slow to get surge pattern. I had her Thursday lunch time, so who knows !

I phoned hypno women as was going a bit crazy yeserday and having horrid , scary thoughts ( I wont say as quite upsetting for me to write and others to read)and hadnt slept for 2days properly , but she was very good and calmed me right down, helped me find my patient and calm side again.

Braving shops in a bit as suns come out and need not to feel like ill person in pj's all day. If it all gets a bit much Ill come home or go down the road to the hospital !!!

Oh and Trix if u want a sweep to get ya going , come home for some hows yer father too , then u get double wammy of prostaglandin (rather that than the synthesised induction gel version). Be aware it can all smart though !

Well I am getting some slight cramp like period pains but who knows yet if it will lead to anything.

Not a hint of anything happening here. no show, no twinges or pains, no running to the loo 5 days over now. At least some of you are getting some promising signs!
