Ive had bleeding on and off mainly at night for 2 nights in a row? Just on wiping?
Ive rang and they said come in
gp wouldjust send me hosp too.
Mum said she will look after baby. Ive spoke to dh he said dont worry about dinner (he has an hour break not much for him to cook, eat and get back) and dad will drop me off. Im a bloody wreck already. Just put the phone down and started sobbing.
Ahhh.

isitme1 · 26/02/2014 10:25

Thank you
im thinking maybe uti as I had pain while weeing too and im pretty sore down below.

rockin20s · 26/02/2014 10:42

oh you poor thing, go in and get checked, sitting at home wondering is not going to help!! take care of yourself!

TheOnlySeven · 26/02/2014 11:13

isitme chances are everything will be fine but it's natural to worry. Hope they're able to put your mind at rest.

lucid congratulations on being the first member of team blue! :)

Good luck to those having scans today.

I'm showing already too, so much I thought it might be twins before the scan. this is DC4 and I've been in maternity jeans for a couple of weeks already. Is anyone else having DC4 btw?

I got elbowed in the lower intestine by 5yo DS climbing on me earlier, hurt like hell at the time. No pain since so I'm trying my best not to worry.

Lottiedoubtie · 26/02/2014 11:14

Isitme, glad you are going and getting checked, try not to worry about the things you should be doing, I'm sure your mum and DH don't want you to prioritise them over your health. Hope it goes well Flowers

broodylicious · 26/02/2014 12:48

Bleeding. Think this is the beginning of the end. Not going to bother hospital or doctor because scan is booked for tomorrow morning anyway so no point.

Sorry for not posting in a while! I've been lurking when I can. I had my 12-week scan today, and am feeling much more relaxed now. The twins are fine, wriggly little things measuring 12+2. My EDD is 8 September, but it's more realistic to subtract three weeks as 37 weeks is term time for twins.

Bex your family situation sounds like a nightmare. I agree with the suggestion to have it out with nasty SIL sooner rather than later as these things tend to get worse when left simmering for a while.

Lucid, congrats on your little boy! I would love to know the gender, but there's nothing in today's photos that is a clear nub, so I can't really even venture a guess yet. I get scans at 17 and 19 weeks before the 21-week scan, so I'm hoping to find out early!

isitme and broody, really sorry to hear about your bleeding. I hope everything is okay. Please keep us posted.

Lottiedoubtie · 26/02/2014 12:57

Oh no broody not good news, I would reconsider phoneing the doctor though, they might have some advice/be able to scan you this afternoon. Flowers for you as well.

rockin20s · 26/02/2014 13:24

broody i hope your doing ok, try to stay positive, i know its difficult, many people bleed in pregnancy and go on to have a healthy baby

Missingcaffeine · 26/02/2014 13:39

Thinking about you broody. Some people can bleed quite a lot and everything be okay, but I know until you get the scan you won't know. Keep us posted

Isitme sounds like you might have a UTI, as pain on passing urine is one of the most common symptoms. Good luck today.

Kicks congratulations! Have you told many people? I'd be interested to hear about peoples reactions when you've told them you're having twins!

I'm still quite anxious as my symptoms have reduced over the last 5 days, which although I should feel pleased my nausea is not so bad, I'm only 9+4, so think it's a bit early for them to start improving especially as I've had it quite bad every day since 5+4.

broodylicious · 26/02/2014 13:55

Have just phoned doc, they're calling me back within ten minutes. I wasn't going to bother with having the scan tomorrow at 8.50am but then remembered my blood group (rhesus negative) can pose a threat to baby if it's still in there - my antibodies may decide to attack it so may need an anti d jab sooner rather than later.

Ah that's good isitme hope broody gets similar news.

broodylicious · 26/02/2014 15:34

Doctor invited me down to surgery for quick urine infection check and blood pressure check. Both fine.

Sadly, when I peed into the bottle, I passed a small clot so panic overload.

Doc was very reassuring with her words - as much as she could be - and said it still doesn't mean this is a mc and that many women bleed throughout. She also said I'm lucky I have my scan booked for tomorrow morning anyway because even in cases like this women are waiting 2/3 days for a scan!! If I start to get pain or bleeding gets heavy, I've been told to go down to the hospital urgent care centre.

Glad you're ok isitme xx

Glad you saw a nice doctor broody try and keep calm for tomorrow, it must be very hard.

isitme1 · 26/02/2014 16:03

Thanks x
so my next question is who has a small bleed near the sac??
X

lucidlady · 26/02/2014 16:03

Thinking of you broody, hope everything will be ok.

lucidlady · 26/02/2014 16:05

isitme I had a bleed at 9w which the consultant thinks was as the result of placenta implantation so sounds similar to you?

CordeliaScott · 26/02/2014 16:19

broody hope everything is okay.

isitme I had slight bleeding at 10 +3, had a scan which showed a small amount of bleeding under the gestational sac. The nurse said it was just the placenta implanting and was quite common. Had my 12 week scan yesterday and everything was fine, apart from her refusal to pose for the photos!
