How fast do we get through these threads?

I've just has to dig in a rammed cupboard to find it. There was swearing! :-)

Wow mssleepy! 10am too! Im glad im not going to be the only one nervous tomorrow! :) im sure youll be fine from the fall you had as baby is so protected in there! Good luck! :)

HungryHorace · 16/02/2014 15:14

Ah, you bloody tempted me to test the Doppler!

I found Baby HH zooming round near my bikini line / c section scar, moving left to right. :-)

I'm calling girl based on how it sounded!

Plentyoffish · 16/02/2014 17:25

How has everyone been doing this lovely Sunday?

We have had a great day here, went for a walk in a park it was cold but dry Smile love family days like that.

Chilling with ds & dh now before bedtime routine starts.

mssleepyhead · 16/02/2014 18:08

No way! That's amazing that AngelSounds is clearblue - they look so different! And given the prices of the tests I really thought it would cost a lot more from them. Interesting! And sorry for saying no way before I knew : ) sorry for tempting you... But isn't it brilliant too??

mssleepyhead · 16/02/2014 18:08

Ps. Struggling to resist using mine again now... Trying to limit usage to every few days and I only did it yesterday... Must resist or become addicted!

mssleepyhead · 16/02/2014 18:09

Pps. What's the gender test for heartbeat??

HungryHorace · 16/02/2014 19:01

It's amazing. I've told DH only once a week. See how well that goes!

I knew it was baby as it kept buggering off to the other side. :-)

Above 140 is girl and below is a boy.

And no worries. I think they probably didn't want to be associated directly with a Doppler when they're known for conception products. I also tested a TENS machine for them, which is for pregnancy back ache, not labour. :-)

Polkadot1 · 16/02/2014 19:34

Glad to hear everyone's news- I've just found our little ones heartbeat for the first time with the Doppler! Very happy as been feeling pretty "normal" (except wretching ++ with pooey DS nappy/ cleaning my teeth) so glad to have that reassurance! I'm gonna finish work at 36 weeks, start with 2 weeks holiday, then start mat leave at 38 weeks- had to book it now, as there's a certain number allowed off at a time- and it's peak holiday season!

Polkadot1 · 16/02/2014 19:36

I'm wondering whether I'm starting to feel slight movements now at 15 weeks. Last time it was 16.5 weeks, but I guess I know what to look out for this time- like being tickled by a butterflies wings xx

Polkadot1 · 16/02/2014 19:37

Got the 20 week scan in 3 .5 weeks- anyone else getting a bit nervous about that?

HungryHorace · 16/02/2014 19:43

Polkadot, they couldn't really stop you finishing, regardless of it being peak holiday season! :-)

We have to take all our annual leave before we finish if we aren't back that calendar year, so I'll have about 5.5 weeks paid leave then mat leave will start.

You do tend to feel movement earlier with number 2. It was later for me though as I felt DD daily from 11 weeks! Clumsy, boisterous baby that she was.

mssleepyhead · 16/02/2014 20:27

Are there any questions I should be thinking if asking at tomorrow's ultrasound? Mainly I want to try and get to the bottom of my spotting, but I don't know if I should be asking anything about the baby or pregnancy? It's so long till my next appointment, I don't want to miss my chance!

Owlysims · 16/02/2014 21:12

Ms sleepy definitely mention spotting as they'll have a good look! Check placenta etc. and it's position (ask if they don't tell you...erm nothing much else just ENJOY!!ThanksThanks

Ruggle · 17/02/2014 00:09

My bump seems to have ballooned this evening! Might just be food related though. My belly has started to itch. Anyone else's?Does cocoa butter help?

lucyfluff · 17/02/2014 07:35

mssleepyhead · 17/02/2014 08:40

Thanks for the luck everyone, and good luck baby!
Feeling a bit rotten this morning but wondering if its because I'm worried... And tired! Dreamed of scans all night... Yawn!

HungryHorace · 17/02/2014 08:41

Good luck with the scans today. :-)

I've just booked to see the midwife at 4 to talk about my unrelenting thirst / headaches.

I'm 15+4, so hoping she will try to hear the heartbeat.

CountdownBegins · 17/02/2014 09:22

Good luck mssleepy and babyspice!

Secretlypregnant · 17/02/2014 09:36

Morning all and good luck mssleepy and baby spice!

Ruggle, I haven't had any itching but my stomach muscles have definitely given up all pretence of working now - even noticeable in the morning! I bought some bio oil over the weekend . . .

Glad you're feeling better, Lucyfluff.

Nulanoo, you can PM me your email address and I can add you.

Hope it goes well this afternoon, Hungry - I've got my appointment tomorrow. As I had the doppler last week I am more focused on wanting her to tell me what date they are going by for the due date - I have been given two and I don't know whether I'm 15+2 or 15+5.

2beornot · 17/02/2014 10:08

Morning!!

Had my first "I don't feel pregnant anymore wobble". Was laid on my belly for about 5 mins tops yesterday and worried I've done some damage. My belly used to feel like there was a bubble in it but now that's gone!! Arrrrgh!! I know it's irrational but can't talk myself out of it.

Good luck baby spice & mssleepy!!
