How fast do we get through these threads?

Do you think you might have a UTI? Just needing the loo but not really and the brown spotting can both be signs.

Ooh seemed to have copied the whole previous thread sorry crazy I phone

LakeOfDreams · 12/02/2014 16:39

All went well at our scan weirdly our 9 week put us a day ahead and this has put us back to where we thought we should be so 13+4 today so due 16th August now.
Baby was really awkward wouldn't lie correctly then every time it was in the right position it seemed to have hiccups and fling itself around. Pictures were rubbish as it was far too active. She decided to whack it with the scanning bit to get it into the right position which seemed a bit odd!

Ok proper post and updated list I've reported my previous post as it makes it very confusing to read

That's an interesting thought, shak, I didn't know they could be connected. Will ask at the hospital - thank you

Ruggle · 12/02/2014 17:29

Has anyone had a relapse of vomming? I'm 13+5 today and since last night I've not kept a thing down. Even threw up my porridge this morning, which is a first. Threw up twice last night and 5 times so far today. :(
Over the past two week or so it's only been once or twice a day. I've had to take the day off, and have had a migraine as well, so feeling a bit sorry for myself.
The other thing is I've been feeling very light buzzing sensations low down in my pelvis. Could that be baby? I've been feeling it most of the day, though I had something similar in my hip the other day and I'm pretty sure baby isn't in that!

Thatsnotmyfigure · 12/02/2014 17:30

I love the DK book Piña recommended with info for every day of pregnancy. I was gutted when we moved during my last pregnancy and my new library didn't have it!
Congrats on today's scans! Lake my pictures are also rubbish. DH says baby has a monkey face and had to restrain me from going back to check with sonographer everything was ok! I don't think I can put the pic on fb !!

Thatsnotmyfigure · 12/02/2014 17:31

Ruggle sounds like you might have a stomach bug rather than preggo related?

flymo79 · 12/02/2014 17:34

Aw!! thatsnot, I'm sure it is just adorable... all babies look a bit odd at this stage, though, right??!

Ruggle · 12/02/2014 17:38

I don't have an upset tummy in the usual sense though. I just feel the same as I did at 8/9 weeks when I was also throwing up 5 times a day. I wonder if it's worse because of my migraine.

Thatsnotmyfigure · 12/02/2014 17:41

Ruggle could be sounds likely. Get well soon! Flymo think baby must have been moving cos the jaw is all sticking out hence the monkey look!! Btw am also a charity shop hunter. I can't pass one without going in!! Obsessed!

lucyfluff · 12/02/2014 17:50

Shak...I was going to suggest the same thing to mssleepy!!!

May be worth asking GP for a urine test...you can literally pop to reception ask for a peepot and hand it in to be checked!!!! Smile

2beornot · 12/02/2014 17:55

Hi ladies!! Decided to phone new boss this afternoon to break the news. Huge weight off my shoulders. He was rely nice about it too.

Midwife appointment tomorrow. Must remember to take my urine pot (we get one to last - we have to take it home and wash it for the next one!). I'm hoping she'll let me hear baby's heart beat so I can play guess the sex!!

HungryHorace · 12/02/2014 18:37

That's great, 2be. You're braver than me! :-)

I love playing guess the sex with the heartbeat!

We have as many pee pots as required up here. I find it bizarre only having one the entire time!

HungryHorace · 12/02/2014 18:38

Oh, and lovely scan news Bunny and Lake. :-)

Finnable · 12/02/2014 18:52

Hello!

All scanned today - baby was a real monkey and wouldn't stay still at all, so the pics are utter rubbish! It was difficult for the MW to get measurements too for the same reason - I've been moved back from 20th to 23rd August, but I'm not sure how much of that is down to wiggly measurements... Smile

All looks well though, and the lovely midwife gave us 6 pics for free (should be £6 EACH!!) as they were so crap.

Feel like that's a real milestone passed!

MrsNutella · 12/02/2014 19:02

Hello all, I don't know if you remember me but I did post... about 20 threads ago Grin

I have barely been following the right thread let alone keeping up with the pace in here. All is fine with Nutella bump.

But I have, sorry, a TMI question.... The joys of pregnancy and iron supplements are making going to the loo a lot.... Errr harder... Any tips on what I can take to make it softer? I have lactulose but I'm not sure about taking it. I was hoping you lovely lot might have some other tipsi could try.

Best wishes to everyone and sorry, I'm never going to keep up but I am lurking occasionally. When DS lets me. X

HungryHorace · 12/02/2014 19:22

Lactulose is what a MW would recommend, Nutella. It's only sugar syrup, so perfectly safe. :-)

And excellent news, Finnable. Can't beat an active baby!

lucyfluff · 12/02/2014 19:54

Due date buddy Finn Grin great news on the scan x

ps lactulose is amazing and my best friend!!!

lucyfluff · 12/02/2014 19:55

Oh could someone technical change me to the 23 please...this was dated on the epu scan not todays but hasnt changed. Thankyou Grin

Secretlypregnant · 12/02/2014 20:11

Congratulations, Finnable!

Hope you feel better soon, Ruggle - fingers crossed it's just a brief relapse and you will feel better in the morning.

2beornnot - great news that you told your boss - you must feel so much better. Smile

Abimci · 12/02/2014 20:15

Big weight of my shoulders. I don't think it's brave - really I only told him to relieve me of the pressure. Glad it's done - I can finally tell everyone at my work and announce on Facebook now!!!

MrsNutella · 12/02/2014 21:30

Then lactulose it is Smile thanks ladies. Gosh being pregnant is sooo glamorous.

But the upside of second pregnancy is feeling those tiny flutters sometimes at bed time. This is a much more active baby than DS was Smile

Congratulations to all those enjoying scans and spreading their lovely news. Night night all.
