2be - it sounds sweet! As long as dd gets it right ; )

PinaColadas · 04/02/2014 20:45

Keep meaning to ask lucyfluff how are you getting on with new pregnancy vitamis? Still sick?

CountdownBegins · 04/02/2014 20:50

Great to hear all the scan news from today everyone!

Ruggle how are you doing with your sickness? I seem to have one slightly good day followed by three awful days... Still being sick about three times a day aswel.

We booked our 20 week scan on the way out of our 12 week too- 25th March! Midwife appointment is on March 4th- I'm so glad February is a short month!

2beornot · 04/02/2014 20:51

Mssleepy - I'm sure it's perfectly fine. Brown discharge is normally nothing to worry. I know it'll be a long 2 weeks though (it was for me!)

Tc80 · 04/02/2014 20:58

Mssleepy - I had brown discharge at 6 wks and 10 wks, scanned both times and no probs, 12 week last week so far so good. Sonographer at 12 week said that the blood vessels can just burst inside in the early stages hence a bit of bleeding as so many changes happening in there. As pregnancy progresses the same thing can happen but the baby bigger so effectively it's weight pushes on the little bleeds and stops them, like pressing on a cut to stem flow of blood, which is why light bleeding can be quite common early on That was the only explanation anyone has tried to give me and I found it quite logical! Sure no ones reassurance really helps as you are the one worrying but my experience of that so far has been positive :)

Secretlypregnant · 04/02/2014 20:59

Wow, so much lovely news! Welcome 22honey, and congratulations! It sounds as if you have really been through some hard times, but I hope the next six months will be very very easy for you. Smile

Mssleepyhead I think you're doing the right thing. Quite a few people on here have had a bit of discharge like you describe - there was a thread about it on the FB page yesterday in fact. I had days of it with my first pregnancy and all was fine, and I've had a bit this time round too. I hope that you can try to put it to the back of your mind till the scan. The fact that all was well at seven weeks is hugely hugely positive.

Just really pleased for everyone. According to my nerdy list, there are 68 of us in total and 21 of us still approaching the 12 week scan.

Finnable · 04/02/2014 21:22

Lucy Mine's at 10am - we'll be there at the same time! Eee!

Sleepy It sounds like you've just had a little capillary bleed, I hope this is the case! I'll have my fingers x'd for you.

Beor - that doesn't sound twee at all, it sounds lovely!

Secretly - I love your nerdy list. Just shown it to DH and he said he's reassured that there's someone spending even more time on MN than me... Grin

Secretlypregnant · 04/02/2014 21:23

The joys of working from home, Finnable. Wink

mssleepyhead · 04/02/2014 21:30

Thanks for being so reassuring everyone. I'm obviously thinking about it all the time and wondering if it had anything to do with my energetic cycle ride home...? Anyway. Enough now. You've all been wonderful tonight, and now I'll just see how things are tomorrow.

Good night all x

Finnable · 04/02/2014 23:04

Please can you all say a prayer for me tonight, started bleeding bright red and heavy half an hour ago.
At the hospital now waiting to be seen.
So very very sad right now.

Secretlypregnant · 04/02/2014 23:13

Oh Finnable, all my thoughts are with you. Is your DP there too? I hope you get seen soon, and of course I hope for the very best outcome. I wish I had something more helpful to say, but will be thinking of you tonight.

BunnyBaby · 04/02/2014 23:15

Finnable praying, let us know how you get on, it could just be a cyst or something simple, and hopefully stop for you soon ((hug))

MrsBri · 05/02/2014 05:51

Finnable, how are you now? I hope it wasn't anything serious. xx

Hi to Honey. I hope this pregnancy is totally uneventful.

I'm glad everyone's scans went well today. It does feel like we are moving relatively swiftly to the next stage now. Still don't always feel that pregnant though!

mssleepyhead · 05/02/2014 07:07

Finnable - how did it go last night? I really hope you're ok x

travispickles · 05/02/2014 07:10

Hope you are ok Finnable. Thinking of you.

Ruggle · 05/02/2014 07:37

Thinking of you Finnable! x

Countdown, similar. I had 3 bad days over the weekend followed by a good day yesterday. By good I mean I only threw up first thing in the morning, but had severe nausea for the rest of the day. Kept all my food down..though didn't actually eat much. Not out of bed yet but have eaten 2 digestives and they haven't come up yet.

Dsd woke up in the middle of the night and jumped into our bed, landing on one of my (already very painful) boobs. Ouch!

lucyfluff · 05/02/2014 07:46

Oh Finn - I hope you are ok. Hugs and Im thinking of you x

Pina - Oh yes those nasty Pregnacare were the culpritsWink stopped feeling sick as soon as I stopped them!! DH got me the Sanatogen mum to be to start tonight so hoping they are ok.

Mssleepy - Hope the brown has stopped now and Im sure its nothing to worry about.
