Morning all - just got back from the longest night at the hospital. Baby is fine and very wriggly, thank God! They have absolutely no idea why I'm bleeding though, so they've taken bloods, poked around a lot and looked baffled. Off for bed rest for me!

Thank you to everyone sending positive thoughts - as ever, I'm convinced that they help. They certainly did at 4am when I was knackered and a teary mess!

This pregnancy is so not the easy breeze all my friends told me they had - DH commented this morning that if we want more, we're adopting for the sake of our mental health.

Hope everyone else is well and has a lovely day.

PinaColadas · 05/02/2014 10:16

Oh thank god Fin, I've been refreshing my page obsessively hoping for good news! Get yourself pampered today, it's such a roller coaster of emotions it's draining! So happy everything is ok

Owlysims · 05/02/2014 10:16

ScienceGeekGirl · 05/02/2014 10:18

Little more good news baby geek was all fine for my scan today. Sonograhper even said s/he was being very well behaved allowing easy measurement taking. Let's hope this continues after birth!

I'd like to join the fb group now (if you'll have me) who's best to send my details to?

PinaColadas · 05/02/2014 10:22

sillymeagain · 05/02/2014 12:20

Fantastic news finn...so pleased. ..was it you that had something similar at the end of the year and a scan on nye?

CountdownBegins · 05/02/2014 12:20

So glad everything was ok finnable only checked in this morning and saw your post from yesterday- rest up and get some well earned sleep!

Ruggle sounds exactly the same as me- I'm resigned to throwing up every morning now- and then just hope it's not a bad day!

The tube strikes meant I had to walk so far this morning- my back is killing me!

Hope today's scans go well for everyone

RoseHoney · 05/02/2014 12:29

You guys get through threads so fast !!
My scan is tomorrow, so nervous but hopefully all will be fine!
Hope you're all having positive news at your scans Smile

UpQuarkDownQuark · 05/02/2014 13:02

Glad to hear everyone's scans are going well!!

I had to phone the pregnancy assessment unit today as I am 11+3 and hadn't had a date yet. They said oh yeah we have your paperwork but hadn't sorted you out a appointment yet. How about Monday at 10?!?!?! Not long for me now then!

Good luck to everyone having their scans this week!

BunnyBaby · 05/02/2014 13:14

That's great news Finn, I pottered on last night to congratulate the scans and saw your update. My SIL had something similar and it was an ovarian cyst, which then disappeared. So glad all is well.

Also very glad to see all the other oodles and bundles of successful scan results today and yesterday, very pleased for you all.

I'm told my boss today, I just struggled in through the tubs strike in an epic 2hr trip, and thought if I'm telling all next week, there's no harm in giving him an update today. He was pleased and confirmed it would not impact on our upcoming salary and pay review. I feel a bit better as would rather tell him than have someone else out me (as it's just getting too hard to hide!).

Still feeling queasy all.the.time.

well done bunny, must've been a relief to tell the boss. And anyone else struggling through the tube strikes! You are all amazing!

LurkingNineToFive · 05/02/2014 14:12

Hello.
I was on this thread a while ago (TwerkingNinetoFive) but I sneaked off coz I was feeling a bit paranoid. I'm 13 weeks and I have my scan tomorrow so I thought I'd come back and start reading again. If someone can add me it dc #2 due 8th of aug.
I've been soooooo ill with this baby. I have every pregnancy/non-pregnancy symptom you could imagine. Are other people starting to feel better now?

Secretlypregnant · 05/02/2014 14:19

Hello Lurking, welcome back! Good luck for your scan tomorrow.

I was hoping that after 12 weeks I would start to improve, but I still have nauseous days. Definitely better than I was though!

2beornot · 05/02/2014 15:44

Arrrrgh! Stupid PGP. Had to drive 2 hours for meeting then sat down in meeting then drive back. I can barely stand upright and braking became painful.

Is this a midwife or a gp issue?
