Yes feelingfatty I would definatly phone tomorrow for piece of mind. I phoned nhs direct last sat night because I was so ill with a cold and my sore boobs stopped being sore! He told me there was nothing to worry about and the cold wont hurt my baby which made me feel so much better. So no matter how silly you think you are being, dont worry. There is no problem too small when it comes to pregnancy xxxx

babyspice2501 · 12/01/2014 20:28

Ooops! Double post! Lol!

Feelingfatty · 12/01/2014 20:31

Thanks baby spice, I'm just going to phone midwife unit direct as don't have my midwifes number and they were very nice when I rang about booking in appointment, I'm sure they'll point me in the right direction if I'm ringing the wrong person! Exactly to other people they may not worry but for others it's awful, I'm sure they would rather you not be worrying...

babyspice2501 · 12/01/2014 20:43

I dont blame you feelingfatty. You will feel so much better for the reassurance once youve spoken to a professional :)

Feelingfatty · 12/01/2014 20:46

I really hope so Smile thank youThanks

WeeJo08 · 12/01/2014 20:52

Feeling I agree with everyone else, give them a ring tomorrow. Don't worry for one second about what they might think - it's how you feel that's the most important thing. And yes, I've also had bleeding - ranging from pink to red to brown & back through all those colours again! I had it in last pregnancy with DD & have had it this one too. Obviously, I try to be logical & tell myself I had it last time & DD was absolutely fine.

In fact, to reassure you further with DD I didn't actually find out I was pregnant until almost 8 weeks as I had enough bleeding to think I'd had a period...wore tampons & everything so I'd ruled out pregnancy!! I still worry this time & have been to the doctor 3 times & she was WONDERFUL. So reassuring. It helped that she has 3 healthy children & bled in early pregnancy with all of them. With her DD is continued to 11 weeks I think & was very "clotty" (her words) & significant. All fine Grin

Sorry for essay!! Shock

Finnable · 12/01/2014 20:54

Didn't want to read and run - hi everyone!

Feeling - I'd ring in the morning, and I also understand your reasons for not mentioning the scan. I'd be thinking exactly the same.

Good luck, I hope everything's OK for you!

Just sent DH out for salty McDonalds French fries for me...Please don't judge! I've eaten healthily all day and it all tastes vile. The nausea is annoying me now, I'd rather just vom and be done!

HungryHorace · 12/01/2014 20:55

Fatty, my DH won't listen to my worries either, what with my symptoms coming and going.

I definitely think you calling tomorrow is the best idea. You'll feel like you've done something constructive then too, rather than just worry. xx

Feelingfatty · 12/01/2014 21:00

Thanks everyone will ring first thing and see what they say Smile I shall update you all promise!! (Jealous of salty McDonald's!!)

Abimci · 12/01/2014 21:12

Fatty, I reckon you should do exactly what you said, tell the midwife your concerns but see if they think it warrants a scan rather than suggesting it yourself. Good luck!

CountdownBegins · 12/01/2014 21:14

Echoing what everyone else said feeling it's always nice to get reassurance from the experts and put your mind at rest. Let us know how you get ow tomorrow.

Is anyone else really struggling with feeling/being sick? I've been in bed all of the weekend feeling so rough and being sick about once a day but feeling like I could be sick a lot more but try and breath through it which occasionally works :/ I'm drinking a lot of water but just feel like I have a horrendous hangover all the time and any time I've been in the car the past week I've felt a million times worse. Really worried about it effecting work etc. even just looking at my phone/a book/the tv makes me feel ill arghhh!

CountdownBegins · 12/01/2014 21:32

Ruggle sorry just read back and saw you are struggling too- sounds like you are having a worse time than me. Did you go back to the pharmacy and get the tablets?

LakeOfDreams · 12/01/2014 21:38

Everythings been making me feel sick today but work was really busy so had to just keep going for all 12.5 hours. Thought I was going to vomit on the bus coming home!!

Another 12.5 hour day tomorrow so no time to be sick right now. Really thirsty all the time and drinking loads so peeing loads too which is not good for work as I have to have someone relieve me, kept trying to ask different people so no one got too annoyed! Really constipated feel like my belly looks about 6 months already but I'm hoping it's down to the constipation not weight gain as I've been eating really healthily.

Ruggle · 12/01/2014 22:43

Countdown, I got the tablets but haven't taken any. Annoyingly, the doctor at the walk-in did say to prepare myself for this nausea and sickness to last all 9 months! Eek! Bloody hope not! My sister's has abated at 14-16 weeks... so hopefully mine will stop too.

travispickles · 13/01/2014 07:34

Another pants night here, meaning I feel even sicker this morning. Ah well- only 2 weeks til scan (and my button is already straining so any advice welcome! ) .
good luck all!

mssleepyhead · 13/01/2014 07:44

Back online after a weekend away... See it's been busy! Hope people are ok with their MS and spotting.

All ok with me. 8 weeks today. Noticed my boobs are really starting to get sore now, and they've really started growing! This is exciting for an old A cup girl : )

And travis - I can't take any pressure on my tummy and it's swelling already, I'm sure. Am either not doing the top button up and wearing a loose belt instead to hide it or putting a hair band looped through the button hole and then around the button, which adds some stretch. Can't wear tights. Boo.

Feelingfatty · 13/01/2014 08:33

Rang midwife suite. No midwifes there ATM but logged my problem with the receptionist and she was very nice and going to get my midwife to ring me when she gets in. I will keep you posted Smile

Feelingfatty · 13/01/2014 08:34

Also anyone know how fee is? I think it's her scan today to check about her bleeding fx is you're lurking Thanks

ScienceGeekGirl · 13/01/2014 08:38

Booking in appointment in an hour and I'm nervous as he'll. a) what if s/he is mean and tell me off for not eating healthy or exercising enough and b) the big one, they'll be taking my blood and I am not good with that. I hate it. Feel sick with nerves. Sorry for indulgent post but just want this over.

Fee best of luck for your scan, thinking of you x

Feelingfatty · 13/01/2014 08:42

Science geek I'm sure they won't be mean to you. Even if you are overweight (which i don't know Smile) there's nothing you can really do about it know other than eat as healthy as you can through the pregnancy so I'm sure that's all they'll say (which they'd say to a size 8 or size 28 I'm sure!!)

Can't help you with bloods other than I hated having my bloods done until I have birth to my dd, after that having bloods done was a breeze Wink

AntoinetteCosway · 13/01/2014 09:01

Hi all. Fee I hope your scan gives you good news today.

Has anyone else found their symptoms disappearing? My boobs aren't as sore as they were and I'm never nauseous anymore. I'm not as tired as I was either. I'm 10+2. Bit worrying Confused

lucyfluff · 13/01/2014 09:13

Good luck with the midwife call later fatty Smile and Fee with your scan I hope all is ok x

Still got a cracking headache here.....Sad

Ruggle · 13/01/2014 09:16

Morning ladies

Well, didn't manage to keep any food down at all yesterday, but so far today I've had 2 ginger biscuits, a cup of tea (no milk) and a croissant.....and feeling ok for the time being. Hopefully my tummy will behave until I get to work (1 hr commute)....
Going to phone antenatal unit for advice about potential dehydration, but defo not taking the antisickness pills. Did a bit of research into them last night and scared myself silly.

Hope you are all well and feeling less sicky than I have been!

x

Blamenargles · 13/01/2014 09:30

Morning everyone I haven't been on since the first thread.
I'm now 11+3 and still not had anything through about my scan getting really pissed off going to ring them today!

I'm sick every morning when I get up and feel sick through out the day the only time I don't feel sick is when I'm eating.

My boobs are killing and my trousers are getting very tight my tummy is massive at the end of the day.

Fingers crossed for FEE today

Feelingfatty · 13/01/2014 09:37

Hi guys spoke to the midwife she had booked me in at the early pregnancy unit for an assessment and scan tomorrow morning so will hopefully get reassurance then that everything's okay. It's early so not to much to long to have to worry! Xx
