OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
mszeenwithabean · 11/01/2014 12:04

It is really annoying, I really want my DP to come with me to the scan at least if not the booking in and he needs to be able to give as much notice to his work as pos.. Hmm not impressed!

has been making me doubt the hospital choice, but if others have waited as long maybe its new policy or something..

HungryHorace · 11/01/2014 12:09

Don't take him to the booking in, he'll be bored rigid!

Lucy, my night sweats are seriously grim. Some nights they're worse than others, but I hate it. :-/

You can get lactulose on prescription as well once your exemption card comes through so it'll be free. I still have my exemption card from DD til June, so I don't need to rush to get mine!

lucyfluff · 11/01/2014 12:22

Oooo hungry I didnt know that!! will be getting it free once that arrives Grin thanks!

I find myself pulling the quilt off at night to cool down then wake up shivering cold lol cant win in pregnancy!!!

BunnyBaby · 11/01/2014 13:00

Lucy - I've had that dream too, usually means a new beginning I believe :-)

With regards to booking in, I may take my DH given earlier worries.

Still no news from DB, SIL has been in established labour for 12 hrs.. any moment now.

I'm also having a boiling hot, feeling sick day today, and my stomach has popped out higher up, I think uterus is pushing intestines up and I have a separation from DS2 who ended up 10lb 1oz EMCS, so they had to really stretch me to get him out. I usually love my high waisted jeans (hide a multitude of sins) and feel a bit 'exposed' in maternity jeans.

Feelingfatty · 11/01/2014 13:14

All good :) measuring 8 + 3 (supposed to be 8+2) so pretty much bang on. Good strong heart beat, sack all looks good etc. yah Smile

travispickles · 11/01/2014 13:25

Anyone else hate their dh? For no good reason. This was the same last time, everything he does annoys me. Say it's not just me!!

mszeenwithabean · 11/01/2014 13:32

haha horace he actually likes coming to the booking ins [! but tbh I'm more worried about him missing the scan, he missed DD2's 20 week scan and he really missed out...Confused

oh bunny if mat jeans are what will make you feel comfortable then maybe the risk of feeling exposed is the lesser of two evils?

I just had two really sarcastic and patronising messages from my BIL on fb a moment ago Hmm I decided to delete the 2nd post but basically I wrote a status about 'getting through' a week at work and being proud and he was a complete dick (sorry for language) about it. commenting with a 'wow-wee you got through a week of weekdays... its unheard of' and in the second post after I said about morning sickness he said something about 'me being the first pregnant woman' and how it is a wonder that they 'don't change the law as pregnancy is obviously a disability' .. I mean WTF!! really! Angry worked so hard not to really go to war with him and no he doesn't have any children of his own.

Jenbee1 · 11/01/2014 13:33

Wow, loads going on.
I've not had my scan date through yet. Seeing the midwife in half an hour so I'm just going to ask her who I can phone to find out.
I've said yes to the nuchal fold but hadn't really thought through what we'd do with the results. Dh is adamant he wants to know.
Travis - oh yes. Moods are up and down like anything and unfortunately Dh is usually in the firing line!

AntoinetteCosway · 11/01/2014 13:35

So apparently my boobs are so huge that Mothercare don't stock bras to fit them. I'm a 32G usually and need a 34 today as I'm not very comfortable in my underwire anymore. Sales assistant looked disbelieving about my size. I am not in the mood for this fuckwittery lady!

LakeOfDreams · 11/01/2014 13:35

Pretty much everything my DH does at the moment gives me the rage. He just ate my lunch for work tomorrow and I had a massive melt down almost threw something at his head. He then stated he was hungry and might stay home and eat rather than comin for the scan at 3:30!!! Had proper rage and then burst into tears, I'm normally so calm and rational

HungryHorace · 11/01/2014 14:11

Yay, fatty. Have you relaxed a little now? :-)

Ms, your husband is mad. Booking in bores me, let alone anyone else! I told DH he wasn't welcome as he'd only have to leave when they asked if he hit me!

My DH does irritate me more, poor bloke! When I say I don't feel pregnant he says I'm arsey like I am. Oops.

Antoinette, my boobs are rather large too. Not as big as yours though. You'll fall over once your milk comes in! ;-p

Lake, your DH deserves grief. That's not very supportive of him.

travispickles · 11/01/2014 14:14

Thank god. Mine has been signed off with depression for the last week after am ongoing awful situation at work and I am trying to be sympathetic. But seriously... I know I found mean but I feel like saying that it isn't carte Blanche yo do FA... Grrrrrr.... Angry need to offload here as am biting my tongue to shreds in RL

travispickles · 11/01/2014 14:15

*sound

mszeenwithabean · 11/01/2014 14:31

omg do they really ask that hungryhorace? Shock I don't remember that with my last two.

HungryHorace · 11/01/2014 14:37

Well, it's phrased as 'is there a history of domestic violence?', but that's what they mean!

mszeenwithabean · 11/01/2014 14:48

oh lol.. Smile

Abimci · 11/01/2014 14:49

Ha Travis! That made me laugh!

Tbh I feel quite sorry for my DH right now as I'm so boring. I've been laid in bed all day feeling sick demanding toast, digestive biscuits and drinks! He has been really good but it's hard not to get annoyed over little things. Like how I keep telling him everything smells really strong to me and makes me feel more sick but he still can't put the extractor fan on when frying eggs and sausages. Being a veggie as well I really can't bear the smell right now. He has also had to deal with my angry outbursts about not taking the rubbish out as that's another thing I can't stand right now.

Abimci · 11/01/2014 14:52

Btw Travis I meant earlier post, not the one about him being signed off!

And Lake, I think that would send any pregnant lady into a rage!

lucyfluff · 11/01/2014 14:55

Yay fatty Grin brill news...did you get a piccie ?

My GP asked 'is everything ok at home' re dv question....Im not sure its really appropriate for booking in and after experiencing with EX !!! Oh well guess they have to ask.

Ive been a bit grumpy with DH, he keeps doing random things to annoy me like moving a picture this morning to a different wall....I told him to move it straight back and he just sighed lol!!! Grin

HungryHorace · 11/01/2014 14:59

The midwife did say that those partners who are violent tended to go to all the appointments anyway meaning the woman couldn't let on. :-/

Not everyone has to see the GP / nurse for referral so it's often the first time they can ask.

BunnyBaby · 11/01/2014 15:04

Great news fatty.

I had a panic about stuff and wittered on to DH late last night (both trying to sleep) I think mega hormonal changes at the moment.

SIL now waiting for emergency section so really thinking of her and my lovely DB at the moment (and DN)

travispickles · 11/01/2014 15:06

Anyone else got pregnancy rhinitis? I kept thinking I was getting a cold but then read about stuffy nose in pg due to raised hormone levels making passages swell up. I also feel a bit wheezy... Another fantastic symptom Hmm

Feelingfatty · 11/01/2014 15:07

Thanks guys. Yes feel a little more at ease and feel like 12 weeks isn't so far away iyswim! Strange I know!

Yes I got lots of piccies but bean is just that so not much to look at Wink a head, bum end and some arm nubs we could just about see and the flickering heart of course SmileSmile

Polkadot1 · 11/01/2014 15:09

Great news Fatty!

Abimci · 11/01/2014 15:13

Oh is that what it is Travis? I just thought I'd had a cold for about 3 weeks!
