We got Thread 13 out of the way without too many mishaps. Phew!

Now it's time to sit on our arses eating entire Chocolate Oranges really get to work on getting some more of these babies out.

24hrs on first pessary then 6hrs on second if needed then csection. I'm on the monitor again now and there's a bit more going on so maybe something's happening. No real pain yet though.

I'm 38 weeks today, being induced because of gd.

Thanks for all the support! So long as the induction does eventually work I'll be happy. Having a single room for it has made a massive difference as I can actually relax rather than get pissed off with my roommates. I've been watching some trashy tv that dh uploaded to my iPhone and doing laps of the hospital to keep mobile.

choco you're right. I had to befriend everyone on fb so saw her normal status, it's not posted in the group. But you can relax, she is fine Not going to say more, as it's not my place.

Now to persuade this baby out by Friday...

Well appointment didn't go as I had planned.

Ended up being monitored for BP and now in meds and having daily tests at local Drs.

Baby is 9lbs so since its vbac and high BP I'll be induced next Monday evening ( by balloon?!) and a c section on Tuesday if things go on too long. Consultant did an internal exam and I'm almost definite she said she did a "quick sweep" but she has a strong polish accent so I might have misheard. Having period like pain in lower back on and off ( but could be from driving home) and some brown blood in my knickers.

Tarka glad you got your own room. Having been around ladies being induced on antenatal ward I always felt for them, it just seemed so exposed and hard for them to get in the 'zone'. Hope things progress well now, they often do over night from my observations.

blue sweep sounds like it did something. I seem to remember reading about a balloon that stretches your cervix as a method of induction.

Back home now and full of thai food. Took 6 hours to sort me out as they couldn't get the stitches out and had to call a registrar.

I had mw appt today and bp apparently quite high although I feel no different. Fewer painful BHs today so just biding my time and hoping to get through to the 2nd jan at least....otherwise I can't have a home birth. frying you are my due date buddy, 16th jan!

we've had sex twice in 24 hours... I've heard that can help bring on labour. So we bumped uglies, then cuddled, then went to Asda where i had stabby cervix.

I've arrived home and still stabby cervixing and tight belly. I'm hoping he doesn't come tonight because its just me and dh and it would be nice to spend time together

Turns out I was in labour. By the time I convinced the mw to examine me I was 8cm dilated.

Now at home with Miss Karen Chiew Kheng 7lbs12oz after a forceps delivery at00:49 29 December. She's gorgeous. Really happy.

Am now gonna track back n see what happened while I was away.

Yey tooth I knew it!!! Congratulations! !!! :) so glad all is ok and your baby girl is home. Somany babies on here now. Can someone start a new thread with births or something like that? No point me attempting to do it as I only just manage to find and write on this one. Cant do links or anything like that I'm soooo rubbish with technology lol. Would be nice to have a list of all the babies though wouldn't it :)

Caught my mum on the phone tonight telling her friend when I was getting my sweep...made me feel a bit uneasy...don't like the idea of her putting that visual out there.

Well I started having contractions earlier and then they stopped . Good news is dh has asked to come home and they have said yes so he will be back tomorrow. Stretch and sweep this week then induction to be booked for 2 weeks time as they now won't let me go overdue . Praying the sweep works!!

Just a quick update from me. Still home having minute and a half long contractions every 3.5-4.5 mins. Lost my plug at 7.45pm but waters not gone.

Think am gonna have to go in soon as the pain is getting a tad fecking much now! Ouchie!

It's worth going in sultana, even if they check you. Knowing you're however many cms can help
