Aww thats nice.
I remember being pg with ds1 and I had naff all to do al day and dh would say rest up as much as you can.
Timing on this one is really bad as we weren't planning on another for around another 4 year's! As ds1 has health problems and after ds2 was born he was with us all day in hospital waiting for ds1s op.
Ds2 may need an op in summer too on his skull so as you can imagine how hard its going to be.

This might not even be the thread im supposed to be on as I can't remember the date of last period and my llast period wasn't a full 1 either (most likely was just a few days shorter)

Bex its part of package Xmas Grin
Wait until your craving weird things in the middle of the night! X

Done a digital test, I was just as excited and nervous as the first test I did lol. Also had a dream last night that I did the test and it came up not pregnant!

Anyway it said I was pregnant (phew!) And I am 3+ weeks, so the doctor will date me as 5+. I only thought I was about 4! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee I'm really excited!!

BexBoo12 · 29/12/2013 10:45

OMG topmammy!! Will this mean it's an August baby then? Xx

topmammy · 29/12/2013 10:54

It will mean an August baby if it decides to arrive before I'm 41 weeks. I'll be 41 weeks in the first week of September. Babies can be born any time between 37 and 42 weeks so I'll just have to hope to hang on till the first week in Sept! I think I would much prefer that. First time mums are more likely to go overdue apparently. Though now I've said that.... lol

Hubbythecatandme · 29/12/2013 13:49

Bought Preg tests in bulk on ebay and must have done about 10 tests by now just to see the little pink line lol! Really must stop this!!!
Everyday I look at my Pink App saying "xx days til birth" and it makes my heart melt....
Then I do a tiny little bit of tidying, feel sleepy and start blissfully dribbling on my pillow.... if anybody ever asks "what was your pregnancy like?" I will have to say "not sure, I was asleep all the time and only got up to wee, what feels like every hour!!!"
Anybody else weeing all the time? It is getting a bit better but so annoying heheh!

Hubbythecatandme · 29/12/2013 13:54

Is it me, sorry to hear about your son's skull op, I hope it all goes well :(

topmammy · 29/12/2013 14:04

It does sound like you're going to have your hands full isitme I hope it all goes well if your DS needs an op. I'm sure Mums are made to be super strong and get through anything when it really matters though Smile

isitme1 · 29/12/2013 14:51

Hubby im noy weeing all the time yet. Unlike my 1st 2 pregnancies Hmm I would go to the loo for a wee 4 times before bed!

Thank you both for that. We've had out fair share here. Last week baby decided he wanted to stop breathing due to coughing fit (bronchiolitis) and had to get ambulance! Ds1 has had meningitis when younger andnow tube fed due to ffailure to thrive.
Sorry dont mean to scare anyone just needed a rant.
Sad

bugoven · 29/12/2013 14:57

isitme sorry to hear your family are having such a hard time. It sounds like you're all fighters and have a strong future ahead of you.

Hubbythecatandme · 29/12/2013 15:08

isitme, life can be really unfair sometimes but it sounds like you are doing really well.
One day I am sure you will look back and think "it was tough, but we are really happy now".
Weeing was what first made me thing something was up. I was not drinking any more than usual but had to go to the toilet literally straight after each cuppa...

EnglishGirlAbroad · 29/12/2013 15:13

Ahh itisme, sounds like you've had a horrible time of it. Equally though it sounds as if your family is made of strong stuff. Stay strong. Smile

isitme1 · 29/12/2013 15:17

Thank you for that
Brew and Cake for all.can I ask how old is everyone

Hubbythecatandme · 29/12/2013 15:20

I am 32, this is my first baby.
Yummm to coffee and cake ?

bugoven · 29/12/2013 15:23

I'm 30. Same age my mum had me but I was DC5, this is DC1 for me.

topmammy · 29/12/2013 16:10

I'm 25, but 26 next month. My mum had me when she was 31 so I've started a bit earlier!

Hubby I'm not really weeing any more than usual thankfully.

EnglishGirlAbroad · 29/12/2013 16:14

I'm 29, will be 30 by the time bubba arrives. Same age as my mum.
I always thought I'd have children earlier but it's only been in the last couple of years I've felt actually ready.

Hubbythecatandme · 29/12/2013 16:21

Good for you topmammy, it is a right nuisance.
Eeek I am the oldest so far!!
My mum had me when she was 35, I am 32 :)

duvetheaven · 29/12/2013 16:37

Hey hubby , you are a spring chicken at 32. I am 42 years young! I am definitely the oldest so far lol. Did another brand test yesterday and said negative and then did a Superdrug today and had a BFP again. Due to my history I am hoping for an early scan about 7 weeks and will be much happier when I see a heartbeat. Good luck everyone as prob won't be back for a while! This will be my second child but my fifth preg x

Hubbythecatandme · 29/12/2013 16:47

Yay, somebody telling me I am young woohoo!
Hubby's mum had him when she was 46 and her husband 50. Perfectly healthy baby and adult now!!
I think (but I am not sure) I might have had a chemical pregnancy a few months ago but it was very early so I will never do.

BexBoo12 · 29/12/2013 17:10

I guess we are sharing details!! I'm 27, first baby x

bluehearted · 29/12/2013 17:24

I got my BFP today! 4 weeks pregnant and due around September 5th. This is my second dc, my son is 10 months. Can't believe how lucky we are to have got our BFP after just 2 months of trying.
I feel very nervous about miscarrying. I will be a wreck until 12 week scan.
Congratulations to all of you!!

Hubbythecatandme · 29/12/2013 17:32

Congratulations Bluehearted!!!!
From what I read, miscarriage in the vast majority of cases occurs before your first period is due (chemical pregnancy). By the time your baby's heart starts beating (week 5?), the miscarriage rate goes down to 5%. I think the current risk for us ladies is 10% or, the way I like to see it, we have 90% chances not to miscarry. Crossing all fingers and toes for us all xx

bluehearted · 29/12/2013 17:39

Thanks hubby. That's good to know. I had an early scan with my son at 8 weeks, saw a heartbeat and felt much better after that. Not sure I'll get an early scan this time round, I'm in a new area with a new trust.
Just want to get past the next few weeks, like I'm sure we all do!
Happy, healthy, safe pregnancies to us all!! (Starting to feel sick as I type!) xx

topmammy · 29/12/2013 17:42

Welcome Bluehearted and congrats!

That's interesting hubby I think I'm in week 5 now so that's nice to know about the heartbeat. Yes fingers and toes crossed!

Why am I so nervous about my docs appt tomorrow!? Get a grip woman! Lol Grin
