Happy Christmas everyone!!!

twinkbat · 06/01/2014 21:11

Oh tutti I'm sure it's fine, and you just conceived later than their silly calculators. It's highly likely, according to them I conceived before we even dtd last month. Handholding and sticky thoughts for you

topmammy · 06/01/2014 21:19

Yes the medical profession's calculations can be quite silly! According to my medical records I conceived around the 3rd Dec when I know for a fact from an OPK that I ovulated around the 9th/10th/11th Dec. So don't panic Tutti :)

waffles1990 · 06/01/2014 21:41

Sticky vibes Tutti Thanks

whiteblossom it goes without saying that information is confidential therefore if the midwife tells her family anything about your history she would be sacked.

Another palpitator here!!

waffles1990 · 06/01/2014 21:43

TwosaCrowd if you had an Csection last time then yeah you can request an Elective csection.

Normally you discuss this with the Dr around your 20 week scan

DearDinah · 06/01/2014 21:54

Thinking of you tutti praying alls ok Thanks

Justpenny · 06/01/2014 21:57

aaaw Tutti, sending hugs your way and lots of positive thoughts! When I spoke to the midwife on the phone she gave me totally different dates to what I thought too so it's probably just that...so think positive!!

Nataaaalie my head is BANGING too and has been all afternoon :( I think mine might be because I've switched to decaf tea so am having caffeine withdrawals :)

broodylicious · 06/01/2014 22:03

tutti so sorry to hear of your pains and concerns. Big hugs and love and positive vibes xxxx ThanksThanks

DearDinah · 06/01/2014 22:04

I have a question about exercise, I'd booked on a relaxation & meditation yoga course starting tomorrow, I've just emailed the instructor & she's says she recommends waiting till 12wks bit if it's ok with my doctor & I take it easy it should be ok WWYD? There's no crazy poses it's more about breathing & relaxing muscles.

waybuloony · 06/01/2014 22:14

Keeping fingers and toes crossed for you tutti! More sticky thoughts coming your way.

Another one here with MONSTER headaches....really hadn't registered that it might be down to caffeine withdrawal! Doh! Feeling pretty stupid....

broodylicious · 06/01/2014 22:16

My preggo yoga instructor wouldn't take anyone on unless they were 16 weeks gone, dinah. I think her reasoning was that the first few months are the most crucial development wise so she took the better-safe-than-sorry approach. Is it a specific pregnancy yoga class? If the instructor is willing to advise you poses etc you should not do, then possibly go ahead. I had SPD last pregnancy and there were some stances that I needed to avoid so as not to aggravate it further but the instructor gave me alternatives. Hth xx

nataaaaliee · 06/01/2014 22:21

penny oh my goodness I never even considered that..im now decaf tea and diet coke..you are a smart cookie heh!

dinah I am still doing exercising, I had a personal trainer before and although my program is dramatically changed I still do my 5days a week :)

DearDinah · 06/01/2014 22:25

Thanks for your reply, its just called relaxation & meditation, I've been once on a taster session & there were no poses on your feet, just on back/knees/all fours. She said not to do any tummy down poses & only gentle twists, I booked it for MIL really, she's really struggling & was really looking forward to it. Maybe I could just do the breathing/meditation bit?

Justpenny · 06/01/2014 22:38

to be honest, im surprised im sufferin from caffeine withdrawal because of the amount of chocolate I've been eating!!
I'm absolutely starving even though I had my dinner, AND then a cake...am contemplating going to make some toast now. I haven't been sleeping at all lately and have got a night of lesson planning ahead of me...maybe this insomnia will be good for something eh?
Just noticed that my skin has started breaking out in spots too..so much for that pregnancy glow!!

nataaaaliee · 06/01/2014 22:48

Tell me about it penny I have mount everest on my face and I never get spots. .when does this glow happen?

haha eat away! poor baby must be hungry ;) im the same so sick in the morning and evening so I make up for it in the evening! wooops Blush

Justpenny · 06/01/2014 22:52

I haven't had any sickness yet...im a bit gutted actually, I want some so that this feels 'real'!! I felt like I was hungover a bit before (which obviously I wasn't!) but haven't had proper morning sickness yet......how many weeks are you??

nataaaaliee · 06/01/2014 23:01

ive only had neausea no vomiting yet thank goodness!
thats a good question heh going by my last period I should be 6weeks but im positive I oved late and im 5 but who knows :o I was very irregular after my m/c in august so im getting an early scan to have a check Grin how far along are you?

Justpenny · 06/01/2014 23:06

Im not sure either! The clear blue digi says 2-3 weeks (so 4-5??) but when I spoke to my midwife she said I could be 6 accordin to my last period. But i'd just stopped taking cerazette so am not sure if it was an actual period, or just a breakthrough bleed? Have got my first midwife appointment on Monday so hopefully that will shed a bit more light on it for me! :)

nataaaaliee · 06/01/2014 23:09

were both in the same boat! :) all this pregnancy stuff is so confusing!

oooh my appts tues the 14th! so youll have to tell me what happens at it :o
