It's a perfect Christmas present for me!

Deus, I had a MMC between DS1 & DS2 at 10+2 which we found out at the 12 week scan. The minute I had a normal cycle I was PG again, I remember the lovely nurse saying, 'don't worry you'll be back in under 12 months with a babe in arms', she was right! Apparently you are more fertile post-MC as cervix is a little more open, and lets more swimmers in. Thinking of you, Bunny x

I'd expect you to get something within two weeks, yes. I'd definitely chase next week.

I'm booking on 9th Jan at 9 weeks and having the scan on 27th at 11+4.

I thought of going out to eat to this place this weekend to fulfill my craving for food from home

Hi ladies. I've put off joining until I'd seen the doctor and been confirmed but apparently the tests I've done are good enough so here i am. Dc #1 due 11th August. In my area it's an appointment with the midwife at 8 weeks but nothing before that and no scan dates until after that, so I guess each area is different.

Today should have been my due date . I feel surprisingly ok about it. I don't know if that's because I'm 8+4, but it definitely helps.

Ironically I had a phone call from midwife today, just to say that she's has my referral and has sent off for a scan date and my booking in appointment is jan 16th. She did say "did I speak to you recently?" Then felt bad as I said explained .

I so hope this one is ok. I don't know how I got through it last time and don't know if I've got the strength to go through it again.

Ah welcome Jenbee! To be honest I only lived 30 miles away before and had same process of midwife at 8 weeks who then sorted out scan and two friends who have had babies in last 6-8 months in this area had midwife app at 8 weeks but doctor appeared to know what he was talking about and filled in a form so assuming he's right we shall see when I ring Monday!! Would just be nice to know date as my 12 weeks is very close to dd's birthday!!!

2 beornot sorry for your loss that must be very difficult. Try to concentrate on this pregnancy (which is what you seem to be doing) really hope alls well this time. Fingers firmly crossed for you!!

Remember the Christmas post delays everything so I'd wait a few days and see what happens. It took 2 weeks for mine to arrive!

I had my booking in apt at 7 wks and she rang to arrange my scan while I was there. Am havi ng nuchal fold done: not sure if that makes difference?

Oh really misery that's made me second guess!! Maybe wait until following Monday?? I'll be 7+3 by then so still plenty of time if they've cocked up and still need to book me in?!

I'd wait til Monday, yeah. Then it can't hurt to do a little chasing. I dunno about you, but I was super impatient waiting for my letter haha!

Fatty, I had DD 6 months ago and the process has changed since I had her in that it's now self referral. Previously we had to see the nurse / GP for referral. So things may have changed in recent months. Heck, even the green notes book is different this time!

I got my booking and scan appointments at the same time as well.

Isn't it odd how every area is different?!

Im ringing to book in next week but probably wont get an apt for a week. Not sure what happens next as we moved when our last son was a week old so it may be diff here!!

I am going to be picky over hospitals too and request one further away

I have a mini bump too! Have noticed my belly now starts immediately under my boobs!

My abs were wrecked by DD, so I didn't start from the flat belly I had before her (sob!), but I've definitely changed shape already and look pregnant.

I had a GP appointment as soon as I got my BFP, but they just made me POAS and put me into the system. Where u live (London) they do a booking in appointment at 10 weeks with the midwife and then the scan around 12 weeks, so I have my booking in in at the end of Jan and then I guess the 12 week scan in Feb. We have booked a private scan for 9ish weeks though.

I've got really bloated at the moment, think its all this Christmas food as opposed to a bump yet (I hope)

Got my booking in with the GP at 7+5 then have to wait for a scan date. I'm so impatient though, is it rude to self refer even tough the GP said they'd do it at my booking in?

So I have found the number for the midwife team at the local hospital! I'm thinking ring them next week rather than doctors so I can ask what the protocol is!! Sound good? Or pushy?! Be honest
