Hi can I join August 20th august. Baby number two! Haven't managed to catch up with whole thread but sure I'll get to know you all soon!!!

Feelingfatty · 20/12/2013 22:35

25 years old :) forgot to say !!

flymo79 · 21/12/2013 07:12

Morning, so sorry Normal, really hope it's not the worst.
Feeling terrible this morning, no sleep because of the bloody wind and rain last night. Wretched christmas shopping today, just want to stay in bed!!

HungryHorace · 21/12/2013 07:23

First proper morning sickness today...had to be sick in the shower. Nice. :-/

We got up just after 5 as we are travelling down to my home town and wanted to beat the holiday traffic. So my body protested at the early get up!

Bit achey also today. I can feel my c section scar internally, which isn't the nicest feeling.

How's everyone else doing? I don't envy you today, flymo. I've done all my shopping now. :-)

DuPanettoneDuVinDuFromage · 21/12/2013 07:44

Morning sickness is awful isn't it? I haven't got it yet but it arrived round about this time in my last pregnancy so am expecting it soon...

The lady from the clinic rang yesterday to arrange my appointment with the midwife and I told her 'I won't be back from holiday until the 29th January, I mean the 29th February, no I mean the 29th December' Hmm baby brain already??

Missvaughan85 · 21/12/2013 08:02

Is anyone else a little scared to dtd?? For all that we've done leading up to a bfp. We haven't done it once in 2 weeks. We did last and it was fine, checked for bleeding all seems ok. I've been pregnant before and obviously dtd. But this time I'm a little aprehensive x

Missvaughan85 · 21/12/2013 08:03

Oh and my proper stats are #2 due 15th age 28 x x

Missvaughan85 · 21/12/2013 08:03

15th aug

Missvaughan85 · 21/12/2013 08:04

DuP I've got baby brain x x

HungryHorace · 21/12/2013 08:20

Reassuringly awful, DuPain! Mine started at about 7 weeks last time, which is Christmas Day, so it's on course!

I'm interested to see how this time compares to last time. If I can ever remember. It's only 13 months ago, so you'd think I'd have a vague clue!

MissV, I already had baby brain following DD's birth. I'm utterly useless now. :-/

Mmolly2013 · 21/12/2013 08:32

Im getting mild symtoms waiting on the nausea. Anyone ever had early private scans and what week would you get that. when do the nhs first scan you thanks x

Feelingfatty · 21/12/2013 08:42

Molly, nhs is around 12 weeks, I had an early scan with dd as I had bleeding but not private. I had it at around six weeks saw what looked like an egg with a flicker in it, (heartbeat!) reassured but for about a day then worried again so won't have a private one this time. Will just hang on for 12 weeks Confused

I feel for those with ms! Mine started at around 7 weeks last time, only 5 ATM so time will tell! I'm just exhausted with sore boobs ATM! Lovely!!!

I was born with baby brain so no difference to me ;)

HungryHorace · 21/12/2013 08:46

Most private scan places say you have to be 7-8 weeks before they will do it, I think.

My right arm is aching. Now I'm worried about ectopic. :-(

No cramps or bleeding though. Maybe I strained it lifting heavy shopping bags yesterday. :-/

Feelingfatty · 21/12/2013 08:49

Have you had ectopic before hh? I'm sure it's not but if it continues maybe get it checked out? At least if anything you'll get to see the bean? (Searching for a positive in a negative!)

Ruggle · 21/12/2013 08:52

Horace, is the pain in your shoulder?

Feelingfatty · 21/12/2013 08:56

Tip of your shoulder blade I've heard (on another thread) somewhere you 'wouldn't usually feel it'

Ruggle · 21/12/2013 08:57

Oh, you didn't just have the flu jab in that arm? Obviously you'd know if you did....but with our baby brains at the mo we are not connecting dots anymore.
My feet seem less coordinated than usual. I have tripped down stairs twice this week. I walked down a step that wasn't there and then didn't expect one that was....and managed to twist my knee.

Feelingfatty · 21/12/2013 09:00

Oh ruggle I feel your clumsy pain I've nearly fallen over SO many times and even smacked my head so hard it bled and had a bump!!

Mmolly2013 · 21/12/2013 09:05

I was thinkin of one at 8 weeks. Im just tired and sore boobs glad im not the only one lol

Ruggle · 21/12/2013 09:05

Feelingfatty, do you feel dizzt all the time too? I plan to ask the midwife about it next week, if I actually remember.

Mmolly2013 · 21/12/2013 09:06

does baby brain start this early. well im.in for a treat im clumsy as it is lol

Ruggle · 21/12/2013 09:06

*dizzy

HungryHorace · 21/12/2013 09:07

I haven't had one before and it's the back of my upper arm, not shoulder. To compound matters that shoulder has a rotator cuff impingement too, so hurts anyway!

I've just read up on it and it doesn't sound like it is as you usually have other symptoms first apparently.

I did have my flu jab in that arm, but last week. Still hurts a bit though!

Everything aches a bit. Think I'm just suffering from lack of sleep / long car journey.

Gah, I need to stop panicking!

lucyfluff · 21/12/2013 09:21

Morning! Its nasty weather here too and our shed has been flooded Sad DH is out there now cursing!!!

I have found eating more often eases the sickness, had to have toast about an hout after my dinner last night Hmm

Missv Ive put a sex ban on hubbie, although we are finding other ways to ahem get round frustrations!!! I think he is a bit paranoid too after what happened last time but possibly after 12 week scan we will again....!!! Im with you though and feeling very nervy still on constant knickerwatch!!

Horace - I think the symptoms start with cramping first on one side and tenderness on ur tummy...if you have that? may be worth getting checked out Smile
