Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Bee - you really made me laugh.

Did get to put my feet up for a bit after christmas shopping and did get a cab home as well.

So there with the sobbing - last week that ad came on where the 3 kids think they are recording a message for their dad who is in the army saying how much they miss him and how they wish he could be there for Christmas and then he comes in the door. What a mess I was. As I told my DP (between sobs) they really should put a warning on first.

mylittlel · 14/12/2013 20:22

Redcliff aaw bless, i cry everytime i see someone cry

MarlenaGru · 14/12/2013 20:23

redcliff Christmas is a pregnant woman's hormonal disaster!

InTheBEEwitchedWinter · 14/12/2013 20:24

Ladies, let me join the hormonal sobfest, please sniffles into tissues

Liquidambar · 14/12/2013 20:33

I might need a few tissues! Crying at X factor Blush

ohcluttergotme · 14/12/2013 20:53

Hi ladies,
Just checking in. Glad it's not just me on the hormonal front.
I feel cause I'm hormonal, waking up ridiculously early every day and crazy busy for Christmas I am so emotional!
Hope all ladies doing Christmas shopping got a chance to put their feet up Smile

noseymcposey · 14/12/2013 21:07

Bee those questions were at my booking appointment, but MW came to my house for my booking. And yes, get going with your pen!

Re the hormones... got all emotional at work to 'The Little Boy that Santa Claus Forgot' on the radio. Was kind of ok, until someone said 'Nosey, you're not crying are you?!' and then I was like 'Nooo'

Damn hormones. They keep singing it at me now...

"In the street he envies all those lucky boys,
Then wanders home to last year's broken toys.
I'm so sorry for that laddie,
He hasn't got a daddy,
The little boy that Santa Claus forgot"

MrsCharlieD · 14/12/2013 21:35

So glad other people ate feeling the emotion hormones. My director at work sent me a lovely thank you email on Friday and i sat at my desk and blubbed my heart out. Also the advert by the donkey charity showing those poor donkeys worked to death gets me every time. Mind you i also cried when i had a pen leak in one of my favourite handbags. I have a feeling i may not be normal x

MrsCharlieD · 14/12/2013 21:38

Btw is anyone else getting dull aches in their lower abdomen. I think it's the ligaments stretching but it feels a bit strange x

SicknSpan · 14/12/2013 21:46

Yes to hormones here. Have dcs carol service at school next week, and I am honestly dreading it. I know I will really cry at their innocent little voices singing all the Christmas songs of joy and Hope! and I will be horribly embarrassed. There will be proper tears streaming down my face.
Ffs I'm even crying now at the killers on the xfactor final because they are playing mr brightside and it's such a bittersweet song! I love it though. and mr Brandon flowers you lovely dinky pot of lurve you

SicknSpan · 14/12/2013 21:48

Yy to the abdominal twinges- especially when I'm getting up or turning over in bed. Ouch. Think it's still ligaments stretching etc. W ait til the baby starts bouncing on your pelvic floor later in pg- similar but worse as it's right in your bits!

SicknSpan · 14/12/2013 21:52

Bumble I work in gloucester! Live near Ross now but used to live in Abbeymead.

How do I get added to the FB group?

SicknSpan · 14/12/2013 21:54

Oops just seen :) Sorry, catching up.

wispaxmas · 14/12/2013 22:02

This one had me tearing up as well:

Liquidambar · 14/12/2013 22:28

that is a great add wispa Smile watched it a couple of days ago and cried!

SicknSpan · 14/12/2013 22:45

Oh gosh yes crying here at that one.

Redcliff · 14/12/2013 23:21

Thanks wisps - so glad DP is downstairs so can't see my sniffles !

ohcluttergotme · 15/12/2013 06:46

SicknSpan I was at ds's school fair last weekend and was crying at the primary schools choir service. My ds is 4, at nursery and I knew no children in the choir...shame! I agree you will definitely be sobbing!
Yes to aches too, have to be careful getting out of bed or ouch!
Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday Smile

Stacks · 15/12/2013 08:39

Morning all. I've been really ill the last week, so not managed to keep up. I've missed at least 10 pages! I'm afraid there's no way I'll have time to read back through all that, so I hope all is well with everyone.
I had my 12w scan last week, and everything looked good. Got some good pictures too, so very happy. It's so different with the second baby though. With DS DH and I were watching the screen so intently, holding hands and just super excited. This time we were both trying to keep DS amused and just couldn't give our full attention to the sonographer or the screen. Still a lovely experience though.

Talking of sobbing for no reason, DS met Santa the other day at his play group Christmas party. I nearly cried before he even came in the room! DS is only 11m too, so didn't really have any idea who Santa was.

Bezzabelle · 15/12/2013 08:48

Just watched.... Know I'm missing the point but how gutted would you be if you were the guy who asked for socks when you could have got a wide screen tv!!!!

Mitchell2 · 15/12/2013 08:50

Well everyone is up early today! I sadly am at work - have been since 4.30am UK time (in Dubai) and I am ready to crash now. Still, will finish up in a few hours and hopefully can catch some sun!

I'm not one for sobbing much but agree with Red that the ad with the 3 kids making a video for dad who walks in... going to well up just thinking about it. My DP looks at me now and is like 'who ARE you?!' Xmas Confused

panicmechanic · 15/12/2013 09:47

I hate to admit this but I cried at Masterchef and the dog food Cesar ad last week.

Jessiebaba · 15/12/2013 10:01

I was determined not to cry at that ad, wispa I thought, 'no, this won't get me, I can handle it'. WRONG! Blurry screen and red face now Sad

Lmf679 · 15/12/2013 10:39

I want to cry now, only because DH has just cooked kippers for his breakfast and the whole house stinks! I thought I was getting over the sickness but the kippers are one step too far for me today!

mylittlel · 15/12/2013 10:46

Morning all

How are you all today? Are you going for walks much?

Couple night without waking up for a pee meant i slept very very good, but just a bit tired of vomiting my dinners( belly grown a bit and a bit itchy (i was told its skin stretching) started applying bio-oil
