Good luck Alyssa!

Feather, which type of stretchy wrap do you have?

Still no impending labour signs here either.....

Chilli81 · 30/11/2013 09:11

just a quick one to report that baby Emilio was born this morning at 3.40am after a stop start labour (there is hope Alyssa). still in hospital but will update properly once get home later today (hopefully) sending labour vibes to all that need them. Grin

PistachioTruffle · 30/11/2013 09:52

Oh Chilli, congratulations! Welcome baby Emilio Flowers

Featherbag · 30/11/2013 09:53

Congratulations Chilli what a lovely name!

Pistachio I have a stretchy from Victoria Sling Lady, she has an eBay shop. Think I paid £12, best £12 I've ever spent!

MrsS28 · 30/11/2013 09:57

Congratulations Chilli! Lovely name. Hope these first few days go well for you and you're feeling ok (under the circumstances!) x

BetterWithCheese · 30/11/2013 10:03

Congratulations Chilli!! And welcome baby Emilio!

I'm having trouble keeping people straight between the FB group and here-someone else had a baby last night too, right?

MrsS28 · 30/11/2013 10:06

Pistachio - I've bought a Close Caboo. It looks great, it was quite expensive (54.99) but looks a lot easier to use than a Moby or similar. It's soft and stretchy but has some structure which should make it easier to get baby in and fasten etc. if baby comes soon (38w3d) and I get chance to test it out properly, I'll let you know what I think!

WhisperMen · 30/11/2013 10:16

Congratulations chilli! abcdemma had her baby last night too if I am thinking correctly.

extracrunchy · 30/11/2013 10:42

clare8allthepies · 30/11/2013 11:04

extracrunchy · 30/11/2013 11:12

Dusty04 · 30/11/2013 11:14

Gannetgob · 30/11/2013 11:23

Congratulations Chilli and abcdemma!

Good news about the waters Alyssa - good luck!

Still nothing for me. Just tears and mood swings. Rubbish.

mumoftwoboysS · 30/11/2013 11:31

Congratulations chilli! Sorry not sure is this your first? Hope you're recovering well.

Hopefully your waters breaking means it'll speed up a bit now alyssa!
Feel like I have so long to go still with all these births. 37 wks tomorrow.

Just cleared everything out of the nursery finally! Next vacuum and shampoo then I can finally get some furniture in!...

hotcrossbun83 · 30/11/2013 11:34

Congrats Chilli! So many babies here already and it's not even December yet.

DH is painting the nursery today and has informed me I'll be more hindrance than help, so I'm just lazing around, feel a bit like a spare part...

Alyssa1978 · 30/11/2013 11:38

5cm at examination xx

WhisperMen · 30/11/2013 12:24

ooh how exciting alyssa even if they do put you on the drip at least you know the end is in sight. Won't be long till it's all over.

I have got the nesting bug/surge of energy today. Cleaned the kitchen twice and done so much washing there is no fucking room to hang it to dry anywhere. I can see dust particles floating round in the air mocking me, landing on my lovely clean surfaces. They are making everything dirty again.

Chelsealady · 30/11/2013 13:15

Wow lots of babies born this week! Congrats Chilli beautiful name.

Whisper I know isactly what your talking about when I dust 5 minites later the side looks dusty again! Grrr

meandbumpy · 30/11/2013 14:32

Congratulations chilli, lovely name!

Sounds like things are finally starting to progress for you Alyssa, here's hoping anyway.

Hope everyone's having a great weekend Smile

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 30/11/2013 14:52

I have been asleep All Day Shock

It feels weird.

Someone kick me out of bed,I need to go and buy raspberry leaf tea,but with no small people nagging at me,I can't seem to find the umpf...

PinkWitch803 · 30/11/2013 15:11

I am finally moving stuff into the nursery and have made a pile of laundry of baby clothes and stuff people have given us and I swear I have about three loads of tiny stuff to wash, hang and fold! I hate laundry, especially when it is more than one load. But at least I get to coo at the small cute stuff!

Congratulations Chilli. Emilio is a lovely name. Get some rest and look forward to the details of your angel later.

My LO seems to continue to freak me out by sulking really quietly for ages and then playing hopscotch on my bladder and pelvis. I am going to miss the wriggles inside, but now my house is almost ready, so I am ready to meet wrigglebum.

Hope you have good weekends.

PistachioTruffle · 30/11/2013 15:34

Hope all is going well Alyssa!

I wish I was having nesting urges! My house could do with a good clean and sort but I've been in bed all afternoon and really can't be bothered. I think I may stir myself to go to McDonald's though, I fancy really salty fries and a cheeseburger ( Idon't normally like mcd's burgers when not pregnant, they feel like lead in my stomach!)

beth27123 · 30/11/2013 15:48

Oh dear I've missed so many babies! Congratulations to all of you, scared to mention names in case I miss anyone out.

Truffle I don't think a McDs is a bad idea, salt is an essential nutrients after all...
Pinkwitch I've been the same, I even hung a washing line across our living room so I could watch the tiny clothes dry!
Upthe the tea will be there tomorrow!

Well I'm at 3cm no contractions but lots of cervix stretchy feelings and sore legs and back, fingers crossed I won't be waiting much longer as Im in too much pain!

kchapper5 · 30/11/2013 15:54

Just a quick one to say Congratulations Chilli, and that I love the name you've chose :)
