It's my grandpa's funeral this Friday, I've been even more irrationally horrible to DH all weekend already. Can't envisage the rest of the week getting any better, tbh

Exhausted having worked the weekend. Just attempted Christmas shopping which was dreadful!

Is anyone else taking medication during pregnancy that is only used if the benefits of it outweigh the risk of not knowing its safety? I need hand holding.

Ham I'm not on any medication, but you are housing and growing a baby - your body and mind needs to be in as good a condition as possible to do this. If this requires medication - so be it.

ham I'm going to be requesting Sertraline from my consultant on Thursday - I can feel myself slipping and I'm either filled with despair or furious at everything. I have weighed the effect I am certain my poor attitude is having on my dc against the small potential that it may effect the baby.

I took antidepressants throughout the whole if pregnancy and breast feeding with Dd2 and she's just perfect.

We have our 20 week scan tomorrow, I'm so excited!!
We're going to find out gender too hopefully, as long as he/she isn't too awkward

Foo, sorry for your loss im sure DH understands. Ham i am not taking meds but came off sertraline when found out i was expecting. Im trying to stay off it but if i feel i need to go back on it i will because i also have to be ok for my daughter.

I'm 19+3 and we have the anomaly scan on Thursday. Very nervous! Does anyone else have their scan this week?

18 weeks today. Doc appointment tomorrow and 20 wk scan not until January 6th! Waiting. Waiting. Waiting.

Evening all - scan had today and all is well! :)
TinyTit is a little boy, and I'm taking a while to get used to the idea. I would have been over the moon if he'd been a girl, but was kind of expecting him to be DS2 and just feel a bit 'meh' about it all. I feel like an absolute cow, but can't help how I feel.
I'm so very very glad we've found out, so I've got time to start feeling happy and looking forward to meeting my boyo!

In other news my breast pain is really pissing me off now, I get a lot of shooting pains (my boobs are like weathervanes for hormones) and know they prob won't go away until I stop BFing, so hey only another 2 years or so to go...

Happy 18 weeks Rebecca - I think Hezbean & Snoozy are also at this stage too. My scan isn't until 3rd Jan so a few weeks to wait eek! I hope the little one behaves at this scan as for the 12 week one, I had to leave the room & move around before going back in to get bub to move so they could do the measurements!
