The maybies are in the second trimester and (hopefully) entering the blooming phase just in time for a cozy Christmas. Thread no 5?!

Right that's it. I am definitely not creating the next thread as we seem to have a horrible thread creator/problem rate. Either physically or emotionally and I am not a MAYBIE anymore we are DEFINITELYS. You all are the strongest nicest and most supportive people I have ever met and I will not have one more woman feeling rubbish. We should be blooming and glowing not prolapsing and not Wong supported and not feeling like the loved and cherished baby-vessels that we are!

Although great advice from our resident vet Xmas Wink

How U doing mum

mumof2aimingfor4 · 09/12/2013 23:27

They're keeping me in overnight. Gynaecologist said i probably have an incompetent cervix. But did say when she did an internal that she would normally expect to see a head as she thinks im going to miscarry.

snoozysleeper · 09/12/2013 23:44

Fingers crossed mumof2 Flowers

mumof2aimingfor4 · 09/12/2013 23:45

Ladies I need you all to promise me that none of you will do any heaving lifting, I dont care if it is your own child or not or just a bag of shopping. I didn't respect the fact that I was pregnant and I may pay the price.

AlyssInAManger · 10/12/2013 07:09

Best wishes for little and mumof2.
I went to the hospital on Friday and found out that my waters didn't leak, but instead I have twin to twin transfusion syndrome and I am going to London today to have laser treatment.

dobedobedo · 10/12/2013 07:18

Gosh Alyss. Hope everything is okay! Let us know how you get on in London. You feeling okay otherwise?
It's been such bad news on this thread lately Sad not fair as we have such a brilliant bunch of women on here.

mumof2aimingfor4 · 10/12/2013 07:19

When gynaecologist checked my cervix she said it looked closed. I couldn't pass urine though so they kept me in as they think it may be a bladder prolapse so I have a catheter. Im not convinced though, I know my body and I dont feel confident that baby is ok. Going to have a scan later today they said.

impatientlywaiting · 10/12/2013 08:45

Alyss and Mumoftwo good luck today. Good thoughts and prayers for you and the babies.

FrightFlea · 10/12/2013 08:50

Oh Mumand Alyss. I hope you get well looked after in hospital and I've my fingers crossed for you too.

Braxton hicks has started today. I am so upset over that and also feel so selfish for feeling sorry for myself after what others have and are going through. The BH are so sore and I can barely function and look after the 2 girls here. 17 weeks. But i know i'm lucky if thats the worst of it.

Vikks · 10/12/2013 08:51

Alyss and Mumof2 Good luck ladies we're with you x x

Hezbean · 10/12/2013 08:55

Hi everyone

Littlebairn so so sorry to hear your news. Imogen is a beautiful name. Your positivity throughout all of this has been inspiring. Thinking of you and your dh and little Imogen and sending hugs xxxxxxx

Mumof2 and alyss - fingers crossed for today, thinking of you both . Mumof2 please don't blame yourself these things just happen.

ThistletoeAndWine · 10/12/2013 09:05

Oh my at twin to twin transfusion !! Have you had scan to check growth Alyss?

Elastigrrrl · 10/12/2013 09:36

mumof2, what rotten luck. I really hope they can sort you out quickly and have you back to your normal (?) pregnant self.

As for any hint of self blame: at least 50 times in the last few months I have cursed myself for some supposed mistake (yesterday bowling a few rounds! Which was not a good idea) only to have to remind myself, as I am reminding you, that we are all alive as well as being pregnant. Life comes with a huge range of activities and moment to moment decisions that we cannot always be perfectly prepared for. You just get on with it the best you can like everyone else, and try to learn something along the way.

Take care
Exx

moominleigh94 · 10/12/2013 10:09

mumof2 and alyss, I really hope everythin works/is working out ok for you.

I think I've got a kidney infection. I've had two types of antibiotic for this UTI and still don't feel like I've shaken it, and now I'm getting pains in my upper back - right where they were when I had a kidney infection last time. I'm just hoping I've pulled a muscle or something.

bushprincess · 10/12/2013 10:46

mumof2 really really hope they're right and it's bladder - but you are right, you know your body and push for all checks you can get. But don't blame yourself one bit, I echo Elasti there are lots of activities that come with being alive and we can't wrap ourselves up in cotton wool for 9months. If you do have an incompetant cervix it is nothing that you caused. hoping and praying for a healthy little one in there and that they can correct all that is needed with a stich or whatever is necessary.

Alyss also thinking of you - I hope everything goes well today, please let us know.

Will be thinking of you both today and have every faith that there will be some positive outcomes - sending all the positive vibes possible in your direction
