Hi Everyone
I thought we should have a thread in here as so many of us have now graduated into the antenatal threads. I know that many good friendships have been made and it would be a shame to lose them because we are all due in different months.
So come on sign in!!

Yes, but they have all gone and got on with their lives where as we are left behind

And I am going to leave you behind now as well, I am going to get DS's art stuff out and ready for him, it is so much easier to make sure that everything is covered up and no (more) paint/glue ends up on my carpet when he isn't there chomping at the bit to start messing with it all!

Think I will set some of his board games up upstairs as well, then when he get's bored we can easily change activities!

I will probably catch you later, if not have a good day TC xxx

I have a washing line full of paintings that are drying off, and I am on tender hooks trying to make sure it doesn't rain all over them!

I have pulled another muscle in my belly, and the baby seems to have noticed somehow this time because he keeps kicking it! Has anyone ever used one of those belly belt things that help support the weight? Would one help me to stop injuring myself?

lucy5 · 20/07/2006 20:39

Hello, had my scan, told them I didn't want to know the sex and they were fine. Dh heard boy and I heard girl, which i'm pleased about because it means we still don't know. The baby was in a funny position, spine facing front, so we didn't see very much. Dd was really disappointed. Anyway all was well but I have to go back in three weeks for another one and hopefully the little bugger will have turned round.

Hi Dolly, didnt find out but the baby was the wrong way round, so I have to have another scan and try not to find out again, hahahaha!

jabberwocky · 22/07/2006 23:25

Hi peachygirl. It's funny how much more the heat is bothering me with this pregnancy. Ds was born in August and I wasn't as miserable!

wuzzlefraggle · 25/07/2006 09:12

hi to everyone and welcome to the ladies that found the thread

how is pregnancy treating every1?
things arent too bad here...managing to get to sleep easier now, but my bump seems to get in the way quite a bit lol.

got my next midwife appointment for the 7th august

HopingCat · 25/07/2006 09:17

Hi Wuzzle. You're only a couple of weeks ahead of me aren't you? Have you found a comfy way to sleep yet? My bump is a bit lop-sided now and I'm wondering if I need to prop it up more in the night. Other than this I'm doing ok at the moment, much better now than I was earlier on when the nausea felt like it would never go away.

wuzzlefraggle · 25/07/2006 09:39

hi hopingcat!
i find it easiest to lie on my left hand side with a little bit of the duvet tucked under my bump...im sure that i read somewhere that lying on your left is a little more comfortable for the baby too (dont quote me tho...i am known to be thick as sh** lately lol)
as for your bump being lop sided..mine does that too like the baby is more to one side than the other?
glad that you are feeling better...the nausea isnt fun at all is it. how many weeks are you again? (im 27 wks today)

trace2 · 25/07/2006 09:40

wuzzlefraggle · 25/07/2006 10:10

i wish you all the luck in the world trace, i really do x

trace2 · 25/07/2006 10:11

thank you

wuzzlefraggle · 25/07/2006 10:13

no probs at all oh, and lots and lots of BABYDUST!!!

HopingCat · 25/07/2006 12:39

Thanks for the advice Wuzzle. I am glad your bump is off-centre sometimes too!
I'm now 25 weeks. 9 months feels like a really long time to wait for something to happen doesn't it! I'm already counting down rather than counting up when people at work ask me. We've got loads ready for the baby, like the nursery, and we've bought loads. Are you the same?
