Hi Everyone
I thought we should have a thread in here as so many of us have now graduated into the antenatal threads. I know that many good friendships have been made and it would be a shame to lose them because we are all due in different months.
So come on sign in!!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I should probably point out that I am not late as in all the other kids have gone and DS is last, just that I like to get there just before they open the doors so I can have a chat with the mums (else they stand around talking to me when all DS wants to do is get home for a wee and a snack) If I have already told them all they want to know then I can get off as soon as DS comes out!

Yes, that is Ben, he is brill! 4sure - that's right! LOL At that lads skin... I just find him very strange looking, although I must admit on Saturday he was the one that talked back to the judges, and he seemed a nice lad, just looks weird!

wuzzlefraggle · 19/10/2006 15:25

lol, dont worry, i didnt for a second think that you were being a neglectant mother lmao!!

yeah, then i think ben is brilliant too. its lovely to have such a refreshing change from the usual pansies they have singing!
thats girly boy with the skin from eaton road has given me a bloddy complex! ive started doing loads of mud packs and stuff since x factor lol lol. they just dont do my kind of music. i cant stand that boy band bollox

NatalieJane · 19/10/2006 15:31

But that is why I don't think Ben will win, I don't think the public will 'get him' as easily as say, Eaton Road.

Must admit I am very dissapointed there isn't a Chico rival this year, he has done as well as the one that won last year! And, of the ones that are there this year, there isn't any exactly huge personalities, there is none of the banter between them and the judges, although it is only week one so maybe that is still to come?!

wuzzlefraggle · 19/10/2006 15:40

yeah, i expect that they will get a little more cocky as the weeks go on...i only really watch it for simon cowell, i love him, hes great i really do hope ben wins, but as you said, i wouldnt be surprised if no one reall got him as much as some of the others. i certainly dont think that the huge amount of young teenage girls that will be watching will get him

hells kitchen is another good one...gordon ramsey is fantastic

NatalieJane · 19/10/2006 15:48

I love the whole Louis and Simon thing, and the 'whose side is Sharon going to be on this week?' Although Louis sometimes does keep going on and on about the same old thing, he knew Simon would point out that he had picked the worng song for one of his acts, so the very first comment he made to Simon was that he had picked the wrong song, which I thought was unfair (to the act) and childish really, if he want's to get Simon back for being a cocky shit last year, then he has to come up with something original to say!

LOL Can you tell I get really involved in the X Factor?! My DH has leart to just sit there and listen to me saying things like that all the way through the program!

wuzzlefraggle · 19/10/2006 15:51

lol, i rekon that our dh's love watching things like the x factor and eastenders really.

louis just cant take it that simon is always right
and i think its good that simon doesnt kiss his own acts asses just because they are his acts. if one of his acts isnt very good at a performance, he tells them just as he would one of sharon or louis

NatalieJane · 19/10/2006 15:58

I have often come down from getting DS into bed to find DH watching corrie or eastenders, so I'll ask him why he is watching it, and he says, well you'll only come down and put it on so I thought I might as well. I actually don't watch the soaps anymore, the only time we watch them is if DH puts them on when I am up with DS!!

The only other thing we watch is Deal or No Deal, we love trying to guess how much the banker is going to offer!

NatalieJane · 19/10/2006 16:10

Right I am just going to put DH's work stuff in the washer, I always put them on on their own, they have acid and stuff all over them! And make a phone call, and I will probably be back!

See you in a bit, or tomorrow no doubt!! xxx

wuzzlefraggle · 19/10/2006 16:13

lol, u caught your dh out

bye nat! either catch up later or tomorrow, tc x

NatalieJane · 19/10/2006 16:31

Ah, that was better than I thought it was going to be, I am normally on hold for an age when I have to ring them, but I got through straight away!

I hate being on hold!!

One of the girls that I have been talking to late late late at night has had her baby , she is probably on your AN thread actually thinking about it! But, it has made me all excited again, first time all week I have felt that!!

wuzzlefraggle · 19/10/2006 16:56

who was the girl?

yeah, being on hold sucks...specially the crapopy elevator music they play

NatalieJane · 19/10/2006 17:02

Her name is Mamado, I was only talking to her an hour or so before she went into labour!

Did you ask me earlier what having a show actually means? Or am I going mad?

wuzzlefraggle · 19/10/2006 17:08

yup, she told the thread earlier

yes i did...i keep getting loads of that snotty stuff and just wondered what it actually meant lol (eeew, sounds grim doesnt it? lol)

NatalieJane · 19/10/2006 17:13

Sorry, I must have been off on another planet!! It is a very good sign, the show is actually a mucus 'plug' that sits at the bottom of your cervix, as the cervix begins to soften and shorten the plug is a little displaced, sometimes coming away in one jelly like piece, sometimes breaking away a bit at a time - well that i smy understanding of it anyway! It a nutshell, the cervix is starting to prepare

So when did you start loosing it? Has it had any blood in it?

wuzzlefraggle · 19/10/2006 17:18

ive been loosing it now for about 2 or 3 weeks i'd say, but these last few days in particular ive been getting quite a lot on the toilet roll when i wipe (sorry if tmi) not everytime i go to the toilet, but quite a lot

theres a thread started on if u like haloween or not...out of curiosity, do u like it? im like one of the old gits, i bloddy hate it lol

wuzzlefraggle · 19/10/2006 17:19

oh, and no, ive not had any blood in it at all

NatalieJane · 19/10/2006 17:38

Ooooo it is getting exciting!! Do, you have any inklings or dates that are sticking out when you think you might have her?

No I am not a hallowe'eny person, I've never got all of the hype about it! But we do always get a big pumpkin and DH and DS scoop it out and carve a 'Mr. Pumpkin Head' as he is affectionatly known, out of it every year, DS loves it LOL

Sister has just rang again! MIL still hasn't, as far she knows I could have had him by now, and he could have had serious health problems with being so early, we could have been really struggling with DS, and she doesn't give a shit! I can't imagine how she doesn't even feel enough guilt or even curiosity to ring her son to see if his new born is fit and healthy, I could sort of understand if there had been major family arguments or something, but we were at her house at the weekend, and there wasn't a single problem at all.

NatalieJane · 19/10/2006 17:41

Sorry I mentioned my sister ringing because she said my other sister (who is on holiday with my mum) had rang and left a message on the answerphone saying that the hurricane ripped through their old hotel and so they have had to move to a different hotel but that they are all alright. Neither of us have heard anything about a hurricane, so I am about to go and do some hunting! It is Turkey, not bloody Florida or something!!

wuzzlefraggle · 19/10/2006 17:44

hmmm, nope no dates sticking out really...to be honest, i wouldnt be too sorry if it wasnt untill after halloween as im not looking forward to being continually interupted by cheeky little kids asking for money with a newborn trying to sleep. eventhough im sick of the aches etc, that would be the only reason for me not being too upset if i was late having her

carving pumpkins is quite a nice idea, as is bobbing for apples and stuff...its just the trick or treating and general mayhem caused in the streets by kids and early teens that i cant stand. they are a pain in the arse. i hope it pisses down lol

wuzzlefraggle · 19/10/2006 17:46

omg, im glad they are ok!!! do they have to come back home straight away?

sorry, meant to mention about your mil. i cant believe how inconsiderate shes being. i bet it makes your dh feel like shit

NatalieJane · 19/10/2006 17:55

Yes, I hadn't thought about the knocking waking the baby up! We don't get any trick or treaters, I think the year before last we had one, it might have even been the year before that! LOL I suppose that is what living out in the sticks (or nearly out in the sticks!) gets you LOL At it pissing down though!

DH has said if it wasn't for the way DS feels about her, he wouldn't have anything more to do with her, but I think she has shown exactly how much she cares about DH, DS, and the new baby...

Still haven't tracked anything down about this tornado. I don't think they have to come home, they've just moved them to a different hotel.

NatalieJane · 19/10/2006 17:56

That bit by the way about my MIL, reading it back through I didn't say!!

NatalieJane · 19/10/2006 18:00

DH is home, I am going to go and keep him company

Will catch you tomorrow, have a good night, TC xxx

wuzzlefraggle · 19/10/2006 18:04

i hope that they enjoy the rest of their holiday, that must have been quite scary for them!

you're lucky not to get trick or treaters...we normally get at least 10 knocks at the door. last year we went to sil's house to get away from it and her other half just roared through the letter box at halloweeners (which frightened them to say the least lol - ahhh to see them run!- he has a very loud shouting voice) and i think their door only knocked twice because of it normally they had the same problem as us, but we put our heads together and just decided to not open the door and scare them.

nat - i really am sorry to hear about your mil. some people can be so hurtful and not give two shits about it. i agree with what u said...her actions have certainly spoken very very loudly about who her cares are for

wuzzlefraggle · 19/10/2006 18:05

okies, chat to u tomorow, TC xox
