Hi Everyone
I thought we should have a thread in here as so many of us have now graduated into the antenatal threads. I know that many good friendships have been made and it would be a shame to lose them because we are all due in different months.
So come on sign in!!

It's lovely, although I am melting a bit when I sit in the sun for longer than 5 minutes. I think it is even hotter than yesterday, we went out to Tescos last night, about 6.30, it was 32 degrees still even then!

DH has just rang, he is stuck on the M6, there has been an accident ahead of him, and everyone is sat on the hard shoulder sunbathing! Luckily he has a fridge and some water with him!

wuzzlefraggle · 19/07/2006 11:15

lol @ sunbathing on the hard shoulder! they would all be sweltering if they stayed in their cars tho i guess.

hows u today? wish i was coping with the heat as well as you are...im a grumpy cow in this heat...my midwife put it really well...its like having ahot water bottle strapped to your tummy at the same time

NatalieJane · 19/07/2006 11:19

I am fine I was the same last time Wuzz, my m/w said it is like having your own central heating system, but this time, I am only now just about starting to feel too hot, so I sit in the shade for a bit and then go back in the sun!!

I've got to go and get DS, will be back in a few minutes, if you are hanging around?

wuzzlefraggle · 19/07/2006 11:21

ok, i'll still be hanging about! i'll chat to you when u get back xox

NatalieJane · 19/07/2006 11:55

Sorry had to get DS sorted out (he brought home a book full of pictures and books, and masks and other stuff he has made since he started nursery )

I have spoken to DH again, it sounds like it is a coach full of kids that has turned over, he says the air abulance has been and gone and about 6 other ambulances have rushed past them, it sounds like there are other ambulances trying to get to the scene but they can't because all of the roads are blocked because the motorway is closed, bit of a nightmare really

Lucy5, having lived & worked in Spain & having friends (both Spanish & English living there + pg)let there be no doubt that the hospital will tell you the sex - unless you categorically state you don't want to know - even then they'll think you're a bit wierd as everyone in Spain finds out, it's a very Southern European tradition! I didn't find out the sex last time (had DD) nor this time & no-one in Spain can get their heads around that fact! I personally think it's great to have a surprise at the end of it all & that some things are just better left to nature!......

lucy5 · 19/07/2006 13:37

Thanks Corriander, i will have to make myself very clear. Will let you know how I get on.

wuzzlefraggle · 20/07/2006 09:23

seriously??? its still sunny here...omg sorry nat..maybe my rain dance only worked for where you live lol...id happily swap

NatalieJane · 20/07/2006 09:25

It is horrible Wuzz, drizzling, foggy, very very very muggy, and it is still quite warm, I'd say at late 20's still.

Keep your sodding rain dances to yourself next time!!!

wuzzlefraggle · 20/07/2006 09:30

{wuzz stops mid yodel}...sorry nat lol

NatalieJane · 20/07/2006 09:36

LMAO

Anyway how are you managing to dance about in your condition? I can hardly walk let alone dance!!

wuzzlefraggle · 20/07/2006 09:50

lol...im mind dancing...guru style lol

whats the plans for today then nat?

NatalieJane · 20/07/2006 10:05

I am sat poised at the front window looking out for babies 'r' us to deliver my stuff (although it is likely to be either tomorrow or Monday it comes, but nothing like positive thinking eh?!!!)

Other than that, not much really, I don't know what DS is going to do with himself, we have spent most of the week out in the back garden either in his pool or on swings and slides, or drawing with chalks on the ground, or having a race on his bikes/scooters/ride ons... yes I said we had races on his 'cars' as he calls them!! But none of that will be going on today!

I suppose the play doh and paints will be making an appearance before the day is out.

How about you?

wuzzlefraggle · 20/07/2006 10:17

not a clue to be honest...i honestly just cant be bothered to do anything.

i'll probably start a book a bit later or something

NatalieJane · 20/07/2006 10:24

Hey have you heard Chico is bringing out a new song? (Can't remember if it was you or Jen that liked him!) Anyway, it is.... D.I.S.C.O. He has all the Chiquettes in the video with him again

wuzzlefraggle · 20/07/2006 10:28

oh my god lol...yeah i liked chico lol..in ones of those "he's so cheesy its kinda funny" sort of ways lol. he really shouldnt release more songs tho...

NatalieJane · 20/07/2006 10:34

LOL I agree, loved him to bits on X Factor, but there is really only one song that he could get away with 'performing'!! LOL

wuzzlefraggle · 20/07/2006 10:44

lol !!

the thread is pretty quiet today isnt it?? and im sure that there were more people that were on the positive threads that graduated...
