Ladies I think we need a new festive thread to take us through to the end of the year. And as it will be me to sneeze next –how did it get around to my turn so quickly???-- I thought I would do the honours.

Both C and K were a bit more sleepy and grumpy but not unwell, we had calpol in ready just in case . I think the second set made K a little unwell but again mostly grumpy!

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 07/01/2014 13:19

1cm is good - are you having contractions? Go Trix!

Had scan - one little wriggly baby present and correct! It kept wriggling when the sonographer was trying to measure it. I've been put back a week, boo, so I'm now 11+6 again. Nuchal test done . Praying for normal result and not 1:10 again. Cautiously optimistic now - hope I get a letter soon with a nice low risk result.

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 07/01/2014 13:27

Yay experience wiggly baby Too, no Yay for an extra week added on! Brooking for your results, did they tell you the measurement while you were there?

musicalmrs · 07/01/2014 13:28

Hurrah Too ! Glad all is well. I'm sure the risk will come back fine :)

Where do you think you should be date wise? I think this "All babies grow at exactly the same rate" thing that they say is true up to the point of the 12wk ish scan is nonsense. But that's just me..

Thinking of you Trix!

TheLittleFriend · 07/01/2014 13:29

Brilliant news Too, congratulations. Brooking for a good nuchal result.

Well done Trix, keep going!

Keep my dc both cried more and were unsettled after jabs, but it didn't actually make then ill, so no runny noses etc. I think it's much worse for the parent taking them. Dreading J's 13 month boosters and mmr. It's 3 injections and they're much more aware by then Hmm

SantaMaybe · 07/01/2014 14:41

Brilliant news Too, but rubbish about the extra week.

Hope everything went ok Keep

cartoontrickster · 07/01/2014 14:55

thank you all for the encouragement. Grin I've got some period type cramps so I guess something is happening. dh was here all yesterday and has been all today, he had to go home at bedtime though.
too yay for good scan news. will they not ring you with the results? after last time with us they made a note to phone us with treats results. I was very impatient though and phoned them before they had a chance to phone me.

Fox82 · 07/01/2014 18:44

Oooh sounds like it's all starting to happen Trix! So exciting!

Great news on the scan Too. I'm 11+2 so we're very close in dates, although they'll probably change my date at the scan too - if I ever get a scan date through!!

Poor S Keep Sad Hope she's not feeling too upset or poorly.

SweetieTime · 07/01/2014 19:04

Trix hope things are progressing well for you. It won't be long now until those new born snuggles.

Keep jabs for LO sound very stressful, I wasn't very happy when they did the heel prick things so I can imagine I will be the same when it comes to the proper jabs.

Too great scan news, lovely to see the little wriggly baby all present and correct. Brooking for a reassuring nuchal score too. I wouldn't worry about an extra week in the scheme of things as these babies do have a tendency to arrive when they are ready regardless of dates.

I have been to MW today and both twins back over their birth weights so really happy. She hasn't signed me off yet due to my ongoing health issues. I am expecting a call from the GP tomorrow to discuss a plan of action. We are also going to register the twins tomorrow so I can get them family allowance and registered at the GPs.

My mum tried to give Herbie a hair cut yesterday. Her 3rd attempt, it's very funny but think I might just let it grow until he's 3/4 as it never look right. Just think of Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber and that's how he looks Grin

ThedementedPenguin · 08/01/2014 15:03

Thanks very much keep. I do try not to post it on here but clearly it slipped in there. Smile

How's S doing after her jabs?

I can't believe what a fast labour you had Trix it was faster than my aunties last labour with number 7 and usually hers are pretty quick.

I really hope the quick sneeze births keep up.
