sarahl happy bday for yesterday, god how did i miss that! Sometimes I wonder if I take in any information at all.

mrsg happy bday for today. Hope it is fabulous and you have lots of yummy food.

mythree huge good luck for today as well. Am sure all will go really well.

Hope everyone has a decent day today. Feels like I am always moaning these days. Had another meltdown before bed last night due to work, why is it always when people are off that the s&@t hits the fan and I am the one trying to sort out the problems?!
Really glad I only have 3 more weeks to go (it cant come soon enough)

I have put on about 2 1/2 stone so far, but i have pigged out a bit. Last night after our nhs class we went to the shop and got a sharing bag of malteasers and a twirl.

34 week midwife app today so pee is in the pot ready and I am excited to find out where baby is today.
Also ordered myself a gym ball from amazon so hoping it will give me somewhere comfy to sit/lie on to help baby get right.

Off out for tea tomorrow night with PIL to celebrate dhs job, be nice not cooking! And then on friday my parents are coming over as they are off to the Leeds xmas markets tomorrow and its only about an hour or so drive from us so they are taking the opportunity to pop in and stay over which will be ace. Nice to see them again and then its only 3 weeks until they come to stay for 2 nights before xmas. Have really missed being close to them during pregnancy.

Mac2014 · 27/11/2013 08:31

mythree good luck for today!

quackojuliet · 27/11/2013 09:09

I love my gym ball,Frizz - its nice to rest your feet on too, then you can use it in labour, plus afterwards apparently they're good for bouncing with baby. And perhaps doing the odd sit up...one day maybe

I don't know how much weight I've put on,haven't been weighed at last few appointments.got scales but no I will not peep. Judging by the padding around my face it is a fair amount. But then when I look in the mirror I find the rest of my body looks comparitively lithe against the big bump. Its quite flattering an accessory, really

extracrunchy · 27/11/2013 09:15

I bought posh/healthy ish freezer meals yesterday for post birth and DH put them in the fridge over night and they've thawed. 6 of them, and packets say eat with 24hrs if thawed. FFS! Would you risk re-freezing..?

quackojuliet · 27/11/2013 09:19

O no extra that's so annoying. I wouldn't refreeze myself mainly as I'm petrified of food poisoning but I think it's highly unlikely they will do any harm.

Maybe sabotage a couple of the boxes packaging and try and return to shop for some of your money back?

fryingpantoface · 27/11/2013 09:30

Depends on the food extra what time of meals were they?

Realistically, I'd re-freeze and see how I felt when I cooked them. I'm a slattern though and have an iron gut so never seem to get food poisioning or anything

OP posts:
extracrunchy · 27/11/2013 09:36

Beef hot potty things, spinach ricotta cannelloni and mushroom risottos.
I never get food poisoning either but would be just my luck post baby with breast feeding and toddler and everything!

fryingpantoface · 27/11/2013 09:39

I reckon you'll be fine to refreeze them. Can't see anything bad happening

OP posts:
extracrunchy · 27/11/2013 09:44

Think I'm going to... Can always test on DH before I have mine Grin

AnotherStitchInTime · 27/11/2013 09:50

mythree good luck for the procedure x

sarahl happy birthday for yesterday. Hope your friend and her baby are well.

mrsg happy birthday

Sorry to here about the pgp and sciatica toby and quack

frying that sounds rough, tooth pain is horrible :(

extra I reckon it will be okay too to refreshed.

Still in hospital, scan tomorrow, bored, kids coming today at least. Moved to a quieter room yesterday where there are some other people in longer term, feel better after some more sleep.

Sultanajo · 27/11/2013 09:57

extra no I definitely wouldn't risk re-freezing. It's soooo not worth risking a bout of food poisoning!

Happy birthday mrsg! Hope you have a fab day!

Good luck today mythree! Really hope your iPod helps take your mind off what's going on....

mrabc that's a dangerous game to play! Lol! Bit like the random guy in Asda yesterday who said "they are no good for you" when I was looking at the fresh cheesecakes... I assume he said it in a jokey way, but he was lucky I was in a good mood! Wink

I have put on 1 stone exactly so far which I am both amazed by and ecstatic about! After losing tons of weight for my wedding last year, I then put most of it back on after my mmc in January, so was already almost my heaviest when I got preggers with this little one. So although I will have a few stone to lose post preggers, it could have been soooo much worse!

Thanks for the nappy info Tarka. Makes total sense and glad I bought both sizes now....

I actually managed to sleep quite a bit last night, but kept waking to find myself almost flat on my back! Cue me panicking and pulling myself back onto my pile of pillows! Sorry for all you ladies who were awake last night....Brew

Got to go out and get my mate a baby outfit for her little girl and a few more Xmas pressies, then start on washing and sorting my baby stuff....but first.....Masterchef Australia! Grin

Sultanajo · 27/11/2013 09:58

Oh yes, Toby, how is the sciatica today?

Sultanajo · 27/11/2013 10:01

another so glad you have at least been moved to a quieter room! I can only imagine how bored you are! Great your monkeys are visiting today. How is everything? All currently stable?

extracrunchy · 27/11/2013 10:07

Another that's better news - and lovely you're seeing your family today Smile

TobyLerone · 27/11/2013 10:12

I wouldn't refreeze, FWIW extra. But I always err on the side of safety when it comes to food hygiene. If you asked in Chat you'd get 20 instant responses telling you that they've eaten ready meals they've rescued after 8 days in the dog's basket and in the olden days THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE FRIDGES.

Glad you've had a bit more sleep and you've got visitors coming, another. It must suck being in there, you poor thing Flowers

Sciatica is still there, but a bit easier I think. Thanks for asking, sultana. I got up for a wee after the zombie dream and could barely walk! SPD in the front and sciatica down the back doesn't make moving around much fun. But once I get going it's not too bad.

DH has his driving test today. He's not really ready for it, but he went to book one on Sunday and it was either today or the beginning of January. He decided to just go for it and see what happens. As DS would say, YOLO :o

Sultanajo · 27/11/2013 10:49

YOLO Toby! Grin Good luck to him! Hope he passes! Glad things are easing slightly despite you having to majorly hobble....Took me several minutes to get into the car yesterday due to pelvic bone pain and lower back seizing up, so can only imagine how your combination is affecting you.

quackojuliet · 27/11/2013 11:14

Good luck for your DH, toby! Mine is still learning. Oh it'll be so great when they can drive and its not all our responsibility!
Is it sciatica you have or just the spd? I have spd on the back which is strictly called pgp,it can feel a lot like sciatica with shooting pains down the leg etc,but stretches should be different as it's not a trapped nerve but the ligaments at back of the pelvis itself.

TobyLerone · 27/11/2013 11:41

It's all glam, this pregnancy lark, innit :o

Deffo sciatica, juliet. I've had it loads before but this time it goes further down my leg. Almost to my foot. And it's managing to be both painful and numb and tingly all at once, which is impressive!

MrABC · 27/11/2013 11:45

I'm another one for not re-freezing as it's not worth the risk, as much as it seems like a waste at the time.

Good luck to Toby's DH on his driving test and happy birthday to mrsg! Thanks Cake

Felix90 · 27/11/2013 12:19

Good luck to your DH Toby! I am determined to learn to drive as soon as I've popped this baby out.

Just got back from my midwife appointment and all is well. Baby is head down and in the perfect position apparently! The gym ball must be working. Almost passed out when I was laid on my back though being measured and still feel a bit funny. Midwife said its because I was probably laid on a main vein which is quite scary as I have woke up laid on my back a few times and this has never happened before!

Had a call from our letting agents and have been advised we need to be out of our current place by Wednesday next week so literally the only day we can move is this Sunday Blush I am stressed to high heavens! Haven't even started packing yet.

fryingpantoface · 27/11/2013 13:52

Good luck Mr Toby!

have you got everything more or less done Felix?

OP posts:
Felix90 · 27/11/2013 13:57

Thank F we have managed to push it back a week so we have time to move! It means OH will miss our last NCT class though which I'm not happy about Sad Almost had an absolute meltdown over it all earlier! We now have an extra weekend. I have packed half a box but that's it so far. Now I've moved on to making candles (got my priorities right that's for sure).

TobyLerone · 27/11/2013 13:59

:o felix, that's how I prioritise too!

enormouse · 27/11/2013 14:27

Hi all, back after the weekend from hell. Houseguests have finally left and have given us all stinking colds as a leaving present.

The final straw was twazzock number 1 taking it upon himself to discipline and tell off my toddler for absolutely everything. It absolutely made my piss boil as DS was both teething and had a cold and wasn't doing anything other than being a normal 2 year old.

The second last final straw which almost broke my back was twazzock number 2 bringing an xbox over with him, DP rigging it up to his overhead projection equipment and playing call of duty in cinema scope for hours and hours everyday. (Who'd have thought it possible to bring an xbox on the plane to northern Ireland??). More effort and time was put into getting that sodding Xbox over than has been spent on arranging anything for me.

Anyway all 3 have gotten pretty short shrift with me and DP is aware what an adolescent pillock he's been. Needless to say they will not be coming back.

toby good luck to your DH. And I hope your feeling better.
felix sounds stressful. If making candles helps you relax, then I say make candles.
MrsG happy birthday
frizz moan away. (See majority of my post )
another best of luck.
extra another vote for not refreezing here.

Now to read back a little and see what you've all been up to. Can only see the last page on my Kindle. Smile

TobyLerone · 27/11/2013 14:34

Good grief, enormouse. Your DP needs to stop being such a pathetic manchild, and sharpish. I would honestly not put up with that behaviour. You can't do much about the guests, but his behaviour was ridiculous and totally unacceptable.

I'm furious on your behalf! Angry
