Hello!

So I'm actually due around 27th July but I went two weeks overdue with my first so I'm pretty sure this will be an August baby Smile

Is there anyone else who is newly pregnant and would like to join me?

Forgot to say I'm a teacher too, poor Travis Also, when I rang to make the booking appointment today, they asked me to choose where I want to give birth - um really, I'm only 4 weeks! Has anyone else had this?

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 12/12/2013 22:18

Hello!! Can I join you? I got a BFP on Sunday and think I'm due on 19th August.

HungryHorace · 13/12/2013 00:08

We seem to have loads of teachers on this thread!

Hi ATruth, glad you've come and found us now. :-)

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 13/12/2013 07:00

Can I worry/panic here? I've woken up really crampy and with terrible back pain. Am actually scared to get out of bed in case I start bleeding. Hand hold or good advice?

Missvaughan85 · 13/12/2013 07:08

A truth I've had back ache and cramps from the day af was due, bad back ache. Slowly, just just up in bed and see how you feel. X x

PinaColadas · 13/12/2013 07:22

Atruth same here! sometimes I go to the loo and I'm sure this is it this time and there's never anything, hope you're ok x

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 13/12/2013 07:29

Thank you. I've calmed down. I'm up, dressed and resdy for work where i may show movies to each class so I can sit back Don't know why I suddenly freaked. Twinges are normal right?

FiremanSamsWife · 13/12/2013 07:39

Hello ladies, can I tentatively join? Got my bfp yesterday, edd 20th August. I've had 2 miscarriages this year so I'm hugely nervous and panicking about the faintness of my line! Got a 2 year old DS who also keepa trampling on my poor boobs... hope all those with pink cm/bleeding and cramps are doing ok today x

FiremanSamsWife · 13/12/2013 07:40

NameToBeDecided · 13/12/2013 08:00

Misery please don't let this alarm you, but if you are having one sided pain you really should contact your MW or EPU just to rule out ectopic. It's not common and pain and stretching are a normal part of pg but it's better to get it checked anyway. As I said please don't panic, just give them a call and see what they say.

Ruggle · 13/12/2013 08:15

I had really bad cramps at work the other day, having not had any for a week. Ran for the loo in a panic but nothing was happening...and still isn't. It can just be normal stretching, and it is common to have cramps around the time AF is due.

Anyone with sore boobs, try one of these:

I bought one to sleep in and it was heavenly! Might buy a few to wear generally as I can't find maternity bras that fit. I bought a "small" and I'm 34D and it fits perfectly...at the moment.

HungryHorace · 13/12/2013 08:16

ATruth, I've got back ache too. I'm not sure I had it last time, but as I suppose I've not given myself time to recover from DD I'm thinking that this time may hurt more!

Misery, I agree with Name now you're having a little bleeding as well. Far better to be safe than sorry. I really hope everything is OK for you. xx

I'm paranoid about every twinge, worse than I was the first time. Are there any other second (plus) timers finding this pregnancy more scary?

I hope everyone is doing well today. :-)

Missvaughan85 · 13/12/2013 08:40

Hungry, this is my second, with my first poas one stick, had slight bleeding 6+ early scan and no worries, this time round back ache, abdominal discomfort, pins and needles in arms and hands, last night I was up till one with pain in my arms, debating whether to ring out of hours, as I couldn't decide whether the pain was in my shoulder.
I've woken up this morning and just feel like crap. It the back ache that get me, didn't feel a thing at first with #1.

FEEdec · 13/12/2013 09:46

Morning everyone!

I don't know if its psychological but now I know I'm pregnant i suddenly feel pregnant. A little nauseous & tired. I booked my midwife appointment yesterday for New Years Eve and have decided to go for an early scan at a private clinic next week just to find out how far along I am.

Sending lots of positive vibes to all of you that are having worries - wouldn't it be lovely to fast forwards several weeks to get these early days out the way?

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 13/12/2013 09:51

Just wanted to say thank you again Thanks I'm at work now and feeling fine. It might sound odd, but it's such a relief to know that other people are having the same worries.

FiremanSamsWife - I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriages. I've also had an 'interesting' gynae history and a two year old who likes climbing on my tummy so I share your worries. Fx for all of us Smile

SliceOfLime · 13/12/2013 10:11

choco yes re asking where you want to go, it's just so they can refer you the hospital you want so you have your mw appts, scans there etc. agree it does sound funny at such an early stage though!

Ok here but feeling very very sick. Yuk.

flymo79 · 13/12/2013 10:16

thanks for the bra tip ruggle! I got a real stabbing pain in my boobs yesterday, really horrid. Hi to newbies! Glad you got to work ok ATruth, it can be a struggle, eh? I'm quite jealous of the teachers on this board though, I have to work until christmas eve! Rubbish!!

miserywaterfall · 13/12/2013 10:55

Hi all, just back from doctors and he says I've got a urine infection. There was blood in my pee aswell as white blood cells and he said the areas where I am having pain would indicate this too. Was given antibiotics and told to phone EPU or go to A&E if I was to get any heavy bleeding or extreme pain.

NameToBe... Yeah one of the reasons I was so freaked was the pain in this one side, thinking it could be ectopic, but the doctor wasn't worried, so will just have to see how things go from here.

Hope everyone's okay x

HungryHorace · 13/12/2013 11:03

I imagine that's a relief, misery. How are you feeling now?

talulahbelle · 13/12/2013 11:10

Well, in at work today, yay. Sickness a bit better, I felt rough thus morning and breakfast was a challenge but I'm not too bad now. So of course I'm panicking that something is wrong Hmm
I also (sorry for the TMI) have yellowish CM. Really hoping it's ok and nothing is wrong.
Next scan 9:20 Monday morning.

NameToBeDecided · 13/12/2013 11:12

Misery I'm really pleased that everything's ok. Hope it clears up soon for you.

miserywaterfall · 13/12/2013 11:19

I feel knackered but relieved but also still wary, if you know what I mean? This pregnancy lark is a constant worry!
Hoping to have a big long nap later on as didn't have the best sleep last night. So glad it's the weekend and I don't have to venture into college til Monday when I am hoping to be feeling better!

The funny thing is now I am calmer the idea of it being a urine infection makes a lot of sense. Have had them before and thinking of when I went for a pee last night and did one, then had to run back in 2mins later due to not feeling like I had been at all, it makes sense. Obviously my mind just thought the worst.

Going to relax all day and not worry x

SliceOfLime · 13/12/2013 11:28

That's great misery - well obviously a uti isn't great, but you know what I mean! horace I'm a second timer and so far this is just like last time, but I was worried about every twinge then having had 2 MC before getting pg with DD. Who said they wish we could fast forward to 12 wk scans?! God I wish I could... Or just sleeping til then would be nice...

baggyoldcow · 13/12/2013 11:58

Jen1990 · 13/12/2013 11:59

Hi everyone, just thought I would join in. I think I'm due around 4th August. Very tentatively starting to get excited now as had MC in May this year at 8 weeks. Hope you are all doing ok. I feel so tired constantly! Bit concerned because my breasts have suddenly become a lot less painf over the last couple of days but trying not to worry!
