Wonderful!!!! Er... where are the pics to be found then?

evilgiraffe · 13/01/2014 13:34

Hurrah! Glad you're both doing alright, noks, though eeep at them being so clueless!

ALittleFaith · 13/01/2014 13:55

noks only winks is friends with you on FB! Seriously, good grief. Such a long labour to find out she was breech?! Glad she got out ok in the end. Enjoy your teeny newborn snuggles. There's no smell like it! :)

Good luck for today drizzlekicks!

CatsCantFlyFast · 13/01/2014 13:56

Congratulations Noks

FrankelInFoal · 13/01/2014 14:28

Massive congrats Noks and hurrah for Team Pink!

Sorry you had a rough time of it & definitely Hmm that they did not pick up on her being breech.

Congrats noks. Will read back now.

Just to let you know ours is healthy-looking and definitely not team pink :)

FrankelInFoal · 13/01/2014 17:14

Glad you had a good scan Drizz, and we'll chalk up another for Team Blue Grin

OP posts:
SinkyMalinks · 13/01/2014 17:35

Go team blue!

Massive congrats Noks! Enjoy the newborn cuddles. Do you know when you'll escape home yet?

MyNameIsWinkly · 13/01/2014 17:56

Hooray driz! Little boys are lovely :)

frank how was the first day of the practical course?

This baybee is clearly having a grand old time headbutting me in the bladder this evening. I have already peed twice in the last 15 minutes and need to go again, ffs!

evilgiraffe · 13/01/2014 18:06

Excellent news, driz, glad all is well :)

When are our next batch of scans? My 20-week scan is 30th Jan, so I guess Kat and winks are also around then?

FrankelInFoal · 13/01/2014 18:09

Day was good thanks Winks, there are only 3 of us doing the course! We've whizzed through the first day and actually got a few hours to spend writing up our notes, which is a big help as it means I can get the assignment finished ahead of schedule.

OP posts:
pinkr · 13/01/2014 19:57

Congratulations noks! Enjoy these early days...The feeling of peering into the cot and thinking how gorgeous she is, the early cuddles, the pride when you show her off to family and friends, the smell, the wee faces she'll pull after feeling.
Ah I'm broody just thinking about it all ha ha.
oh and yeah team Blue draf!

pinkr · 13/01/2014 19:58

Oops driz even x

FriendofDorothy · 13/01/2014 22:19

Hahaha.

I am having my usual paranoia about there being something wrong. Waiting to get the appointment for my first scan and I am sure I will feel better after that.

My nipples are definitely hurting less but that may be more about the fact that I don't have a 1 year old chewing on them in the mornings than there being any problem with the pregnancy!

JethroTull · 13/01/2014 22:53

Ooooh congratulations Noks. Hope you're being looked after & are enjoying it all.

FrankelInFoal · 14/01/2014 06:40

Morning Hags, it looks like we'll be needing a new Fred soonish, should we have another run through of people's due dates/scan dates so whoever does the new Fred (not my turn!) can pop in everyone's details.

OP posts:
KatAndKit · 14/01/2014 07:40

My due date is 20th June. I have no working laptop at the moment so I can't volunteer. Next scan is 5th feb.

KatAndKit · 14/01/2014 07:41

And many congratulations noks am amazed they didn't spot a breech baby though. Hope your first few days are going great. You back home yet?

MyNameIsWinkly · 14/01/2014 11:10

More fucking bleeding, I hate this :(

eurochick · 14/01/2014 11:22

Oh @rse Winks. It's such a worry, isn't it? I've been bleeding for more than a week now. Even with a good scan in the middle, it's hard to believe that all is well.

dor my boobs have stopped hurting entirely. But they are still huge (for me).

noks how are you getting on?

frank the course sounds good.

I have my first GP appt tomorrow. So I have no idea when a scan might be. I hit 12 weeks on 13 Feb. But we are thinking of skipping the NHS scan and going for the Harmony + scan at the Fetal Medical Centre instead. Have any of you done this? My EDD is 28 August (for next fred purposes).

CatsCantFlyFast · 14/01/2014 12:35

Sorry for the bleeding ladies... An extra headfuck that neither of you need understatement
Euro I had the NHS screening the the Harmony as I was worried about my bloods (even though the combine came back ok). I didn't use the FMC (preferred the service/explanations etc given by another clinic which I think is Harley Street and remote branch in Richmond). It felt like a long wait for the results but the reassurance meant for me it was worth it. Also bonus of being able to get the gender if, like me, you want to know!

MyNameIsWinkly · 14/01/2014 17:02

I've had a fun day today Hmm

Instead of meeting a friend for lunch, I called the midwives and got sent to the EPU where I got to sit around for a few hours. Baby's heartbeat sounds fine and they weren't madly concerned but I did have to wait around another hour for an anti D jab. Tremendous.

Said friend had had some scary times with her own (IVF win) baybee, so at least I didn't piss her off into the bargain.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 14/01/2014 17:07

Yay for the heartbeat, tho winks! And sorry about the continued headfuck, both of you!

Massive congrats, noks! I'd love to admire the little lady :)

Due date 7/6 and no more scans Shock at least that I know of, 20 week appointment at the midwife on Fri.
