I had the teensiest bit of pink spotting earlier and nothing since. Heard the baby on the Doppler loud and clear but still totally freaked out! Think i maybe just over did it today with Christmas shopping then grocery shopping. Hope so!

mumof2aimingfor4 · 08/11/2013 18:44

flixy take it easy. I did grocery shopping today and then bollocked OH for not helping with the shite load of heavy bags becuase he was still in bed at midday! He works from home so chooses his own hours Hmm

McBaby · 08/11/2013 19:00

Ow ow ow I want to cry. SPD is so bad I can barely walk even sitting is very painful tonight I can't bath DD, can't cook dinner and house is a tip as DD just threw everything around the room but I can't get on the floor to pick it up. Feeling very sorry for my self that I have 24.5 weeks left of being very immobile.

But on the plus fish and chips for dinner as I can't cook :)

TheAlyssWithTheMewlingQuim · 08/11/2013 21:57

I'm staying at my mum's tonight and she made a tomato and rice bake mmm. I was really good yesterday and I had a decaf latte, and scrambled egg instead of fried. Last time I was pregnant I was a little bit calcium deficient so this time I'm having lots of milkshakes and decaf lattes.

thistlelicker · 08/11/2013 22:28

Has anybody found since they reaches 10/11 weeks it's flown by ?

dobedobedo · 09/11/2013 05:43

Hi thistle, yeah. I think since week 12 it's went quicker! Can't believe I'm 14+1 already.

I've had quite an interesting day. Ex MIL, who doesn't even speak to ex and who lives at the other side of the country, has shown up. I haven't seen her in almost 10 years. She wanted to see ds. She's here for the weekend and so far it's not going that bad. I kinda feel sorry for her a bit. She's batty but means well. And it's very weird how much ds looks like her too! Today we're going bowling with her!

In baby related news, I'm now showing. My uterus is a couple of inches below belly button, hard as a rock and sticking out a bit. Will really have to buy maternity trousers quick. Now that I'm not throwing up every day, I'm bound to pile on the weight!

hamncheese · 09/11/2013 07:14

I think it might be time for bump pictures soon... :D

mumof2aimingfor4 · 09/11/2013 07:42

Ooh ham good idea! Believe it or not I have no pictures of me pregnant with either dds. I hated the amount of weight I carried with my girls (im 5"7' and always been a size 8/10) But this time is different ive only got a bit of belly which is raising my hopes of finally having a boy!

psynl · 09/11/2013 07:48

Finally being brave and stepping out of the shadows to post. I'm 15 weeks with a scan due date of 29th April but a LMP due date of 2nd May. Felt the first flutterings of movement a couple of days ago!

mumof2aimingfor4 · 09/11/2013 07:55

ps Welcome! I assume this isnt your first?

psynl · 09/11/2013 08:10

My second but with a gap of 10 years so feel like a novice again!

moominleigh94 · 09/11/2013 08:13

Already had to resort to sleeping with a pillow between my knees Sad I can't get comfy any other way, my hips are starting to hurt like hell already.

On the bright side, 15+5 today Grin

moominleigh94 · 09/11/2013 08:14

Welcome psynl

mumof2aimingfor4 · 09/11/2013 08:15

I guessed it wasn't first as you recognised the flutters too early! :) 10 years is nothing, you'll drop straight back into the habit. Have you added yourself to stats page?

mumof2aimingfor4 · 09/11/2013 08:17

moomin invest in a v pillow or body pillow. Best money you'll ever spend!

psynl · 09/11/2013 08:17

Thanks Moomin - I've been reading your posts closely because I was the same age when I had my first and at uni too. It all worked out well and I now have a gorgeous 10 year old and my dream job. It can be done!

psynl · 09/11/2013 08:27

Need to add to stats but can't on phone and not willing to get out of bed just yet! So reassuring to feel movements -I'm much more anxious this time round and I must admit, the 10 year gap is worrying me a bit.

thistlelicker · 09/11/2013 08:33

I don't have a bump because in a not so skinny minnie! Although I constantly feeling bloated and hard and round !!!

14+3

Vikks · 09/11/2013 08:45

psynl Welcome & Congratulations!

What are we all up to this weekend?

I'm taking my little man to Magna in Rotherham, it's a hands on science exhibition, I'm sure he'll love it. Plus he has informed me this morning that he needs more track for his train, so Toys R Us too (I might need to have a little wander into the baby section..... Grin

dobedobedo Have fun with the Ex MIL. I have that added complexity to my family too. DS usually has one afternoon a week with them, he has so many Grandparents now I hope the new baby doesn't feel left out!

13+1

thistlelicker · 09/11/2013 08:55

I'm off sick but have an urge to go to John Lewis !!!

McBaby · 09/11/2013 08:55

moomin if hips hurt in the side when lying down put a spare duvet under your sheet and pillow between knees it really helps eleviate pressure and pain.
