Thistle I see, hopefully you get used to the hormones soon and the headaches wear off.

snoozy my scan was late at 14 weeks too. If its any consolation at that stage it's so much more a baby which is nice better than pretending you know which end of a blob the sonographer is pointing out.

I don't know what I want for dinner tonight. It's so nice having an appetite again! Although I'm going to have to be careful not to put on too much weight.

I'd love a big bowl of irish stew - you can't buy it here though and it will take way too long to make. Makes me look forward to having a few months off work so I can spend time on cooking proper dinners again!

I put a scan pic up I know my mum only responded negatively to the news because she's worried, so I'm not going to pay too much attention to it.

Congrats on the twins and also on the good news for scans.

I had my 12 week scan yesterday. It was great. So detailed! All organs accounted for and the toe and finger count tallied up. Low risk for the nuchal test. I'm officially due on the 15th instead of the 22. (No longer date buddies with mumof2aiming :( ) And a week closer to seeing an end to this infernal ms.

We are not going to find out the sex this time either. My last two pregnancies were polar opposites, one kicked constantly, stuck out to different sides, different ms but both were girls. Just very different personalities now that they are out though.

Hello ladies!
Officially delurking since there's a new thread. I had my 12 week scan last week, but my plum turned out to be a lime, and they put me back to 11+2. Was also too small and uncooperative to do NT measurement. All of which means I go back tomorrow for a second scan (hurrah!). Was very worried last time, more excited this time round. Symptoms have been slowly disappearing, apart from the icky one about discharge!

Good to hear everyone's happy scan news, looking forward to getting to know everyone over the next few months.

Someone was asking about work maternity gear and I meant to say I highly rate h&m maternity gear esp the jeans. Not that that has anything to do with work wear but I'd imagine if they have good jeans the trousers might be decent too?

I'm up past seven. On the couch not in bed. What's going on here????

Cute story of the day. My DS learned to come and give kisses. He came over to me and arms out leaned up and mwah on the mouth. So much love! He's 15 months btw :)

Scan went well this morning. Bundle was cooperative for the nuchal measurement, dating and checking heartbeat, but I think he/she must have been asleep before we started as he/she was face down and kept trying to kick the scanner off - it looked like they were doing mountain climbers. Or maybe it was just copying what I was doing at bootcamp yesterday! I've been moved a day forward to a due date of 15th May and have to wait til next year for the 20 week scan.

I got re-measured for bras last Friday. So far I've only gone up a cup size, but I'm now wearing non-wired so I'll have a bit of leeway if my boobs do suddenly have a growth spurt. And they do feel more comfortable, even if they're not the most attractive items of underwear!

I can't believe I'm still awake. AND I cooked dinner tonight for the first time since I discovered I was pregnant - handled raw meat without wanting to throw my guts up and everything! I'm so glad the sickness has went away and I really do seem to have more energy than I had before.
I wouldn't say I'm "blooming" but I don't want to crawl into bed with a sick bucket and die all the time anymore. (13+5)

Hello ... Lots of good scan news today.

Ours went really well. Baby was there kicking away and we saw him open and close his mouth a few times! They have moved me forward 5 whole days though which means an immaculate conception...just call me Mary so I'm now 13+2. I'll go with their dates but won't be at all surprised if baby is late!! Due date 12th May. Maybe I'm just having a giant baby

Scan was very clear and we saw some great poses by Chops2 but pics aren't that great. I'll try to post one ASAP.
