yeah impatiently how lovely to know (and how lovely of them to fit you in after the mix up!)

so thats Boys 1, Girls 0 so far (unless whoever it was who had the harmony test can speak up as I don't think I can trawl through the threads to find out!!

dobe hope your ds will be ok if you get to the comedian... difficult decision to make...

Am back in Harare and loving chilling out with the hounds (though it's still stupidly hot here... no rains yet Sad) and have a cousin arriving tonight for a couple of weeks which will be brilliant - a great excuse to explore and help keeps me company while DH is away. yeah!

hope everyones having a relaxing weekend. thinking of you squiffe but glad to hear the bleeding has slowed.

dobedobedo · 16/11/2013 15:41

I might see if I can go to the dress rehearsal the night before the performance and ds says he's happy with that. I also said I'd buy him and the cast loads of sweeties out of guilt for a treat after the show on Friday.
He's 8 moomin but says as long as I see it, he doesn't mind if it's the dress rehearsal or the live show.

moominleigh94 · 16/11/2013 16:12

Aww dobe that's a great idea! Glad you've found a solution you're all happy with - enjoy the show AND the comedian! :)

SharpLily · 16/11/2013 17:02

I got all excited last night, thought I saw signs of a linea nigra in the bathroom mirror. Turned out just to be the imprint of the seam of my trousers in my stomach Grin.

moobaloo · 16/11/2013 18:12

may I just say I am LOVING my maternity jeans?! Topshop, off of Ebay though Wink soooo comfy

dobedobedo · 16/11/2013 18:47

Had a really itchy tummy earlier. Had a look and yup. An angry red stretch mark Angry Already!! Oh also, earlier ds pointed out that I'd spilled something on my top. Except I hadn't, I'd sprung a boob leak. Blush

Anyone else having these lovely glamorous symptoms yet?

LongTailedTit · 16/11/2013 19:10

Oh dobe that sucks!! Have you got any BioOil? It's good stuff, get slathering, morning and night!

I haven't leaked boob-wise yet, but I have the yuckier symptom of pelvic floor failure already.... Sneezes are causing me ishoooos.... Must get clenching. :(

LongTailedTit · 16/11/2013 19:14

SharpLily I had the Linea Nigra from birth til my mid twenties when it finally went away - told my my midwife this last time, she said it made sense that I'd had a lot of hormonal problems as a kid/teen!

Mid thirties now, it didn't come back as strongly with DS as when I had it before, but did eventually appear around 4/5 months pg. No sign of it yet this time, tho my hormones are all over the place so perhaps it won't be long!

moominleigh94 · 16/11/2013 20:08

No boob leakage but a rubbish pelvic floor. No stretch marks yet, but I use cocoa butter on my scar and the area around it to try and keep the skin moisturised anyway so that might be why...

Got a proper little bump now Grin

Xavielli · 16/11/2013 21:29

I have so many stretch marks from the other babies that I wouldn't notice another. No leakage but can still squeeze a drop of milk and stopped feeding DD2 in January.

16 weeks today and have had two lots of Braxton hicks already. Not painful but tight - I can always tell them because my sinuses go tight too

Hope everyone is feeling well. I've had a busy day at a christening but everyone loved the cake I made and I got to eat a slice so mustn't grumble :)

randdom · 16/11/2013 21:39

Today has been a bad day ms wise. However I went to a celebration at my old uni which was amazing. Caught up with loads if my friends and also people I haven't seen for ages. However it is getting increasingly hard to hide my tummy and I am sure medical people are good at guessing this sort of thing!

dobedobedo · 16/11/2013 22:45

xav I get braxton hicks too, I've had them since the start really. Not sore but like yours, just tightening. I especially get them when I've just ran up the stairs or straight after dh and I have sex Blush tmi sorry!
I really need to moisturise more. I had a million stretchmarks after ds but they faded so much they were almost invisible. Dh didn't even know I had any.

The leaky boobs is doing my head in though. Back to the sexless world of breast pads and night bras already! Fun fun!

dobedobedo · 16/11/2013 22:46

Sorry to hear you're still having ms random hope it goes away soon xx

Vikks · 16/11/2013 22:49

Hi All,

Just checking in, I've been laid up for a few days with a sickness bug. I don’t think its MS anymore I've been clear of that for a while now. I did read that your immune system is lower when you’re PG so more likely to pick up illness more easily.

Randdom Sorry you are still suffering, the last few days have reminded just how shit it is. Good on you for getting out and carrying on.

Xavielli Wow BH already! I’d forgotten about those, thankfully just noticed them right at the end with DS. I’m with you on the stretch marks, I wouldn't notice a few more! Isn't PG wonderful and glamorous?

Impatiently such wonderful news! Congratulations on your boy x
I’m so excited to find out too, three weeks today!!! Nearly all the family think baby is a girl, DH and I have said boy all along but now I've had several vivid dreams that it’s a girl.

Squiffie Hope you're ok x

moobaloo Lovely picture. Congrats x

14+1

Xavielli · 17/11/2013 02:10

Congratulations impatiently somehow I managed to skip right past your dangly news! I do love baby boys... And baby girls ... Oh I just love them all! (Aaand that's how you end up with 5 of them)

randdom · 17/11/2013 02:11

I have no idea why I am awake ! It is 2am!!!!!

snoozysleeper · 17/11/2013 03:41

Congrats impatiently Cake

randomm my sleep pattern is all over the place too [condused]

Xavielli · 17/11/2013 07:24

I'm sorry ladies, the sleep disturbance is just another wonderful part of pregnancy. If it's not needing a pee every 2 hours/heartburn/hip pain then it's the baby wriggling around in the middle of the night. Joy joy! Hopefully you can get back to sleep easily

SharpLily · 17/11/2013 07:50

Hang on a minute - at 13 weeks dead on today I thought I had months left yet before leaky boobs, maternity clothes and Braxton Hicks! Are you lot telling me that this stuff is, like, imminent? Shock

mumof2aimingfor4 · 17/11/2013 08:22

sharp I didn't get one braxton hicks and no boob leakage (that came with breastfeeding for me, and only a bit at night) I am however fully embracing the maternity wear. But third baby so inevitable.

mumof2aimingfor4 · 17/11/2013 08:24

The only pregnancy problem I get after nausea is heartburn, bur my babies are born with a good head of hair, so again, inevitable.

dobedobedo · 17/11/2013 08:35

sharp yup. It's different for every person, but my boobs have leaked constantly since yesterday. So annoying. And you already get Brixton hicks, you just don't feel them yet. Smile

Don't forget the weeing when you sneeze or laugh and piles! Mind you, I've been lucky and never had that before. Even after birth with ds. I'm worried this baby might be different!
Brb off to do pelvic floor exercises! Grin

McBaby · 17/11/2013 08:44

I had premature contractions from 26 weeks last time due to irritable uterus v painful and every 10 mins for up to 24 hours at a time really hoping that doesn't start again! Hospital stays and steroids really scared me.

No leaky boobs here last time and my milk has pretty my g dried up as I stopped feeding DD 4 weeks ago but have got bigger since I stopped feeding. So not e wry one leaks but after birth was another story!

16+5 today and feeling human. My sleep and horrendous headaches are getting better due to acupuncture I would thoroughly reccomend it I hav had 3-6 hours sleep since 3 weeks I am up to 6-9 hours its amazing :)

moominleigh94 · 17/11/2013 08:48

I found out the other day that all my female classmates do pelvic floor exercises despite not being pregnant... why am I incapable of doing them even when I AM pregnant? Envy

16+6 today Grin

SharpLily · 17/11/2013 08:54

Well I feel contraction-like cramps, I just would never have known those are Braxton Hicks Confused. My stomach is a little bit more rounded every day but I don't look like I'm up the duff yet, more like I've been eating too many pies. I will be getting into maternity clothes this week though, I think, simply because I desperately need some new clothes and there seems very little point in buying non-maternity stuff at this stage. Feels premature though!
