Will this do? I bet someone's beat me to it now!

OP posts:

Once I get to about 18 weeks I LOVE pregnancy.

Not doing anything today, going to have a nice long bath in a moment.

Runny eggs are fine as long as lion marked or you know they come from vaccinated chickens.

hamncheese · 10/11/2013 11:48

I hate being pregnant. More than anything ever. Can't wait til may and I never have to do this ever again..!

thistlelicker · 10/11/2013 12:10

I hate being pregnant. We have agreed we are only having one child :-)

dobedobedo · 10/11/2013 12:37

I hate the sickness part of being pregnant. Also the sore back, sore legs, sore everything you get. But I like feeling the baby kick and move about.

Spirael · 10/11/2013 12:54

I wouldn't say I enjoyed pregnancy last time, but it wasn't intolerable. With the worse MS this time around, I'm glad we're stopping at two children! I'd rather give birth than go through all the relentless nausea of MS.

In other news I appear to have popped. At 11 weeks. Argh! I have no stomach muscles left, it seems. There is no hiding the bump anymore, even my 'fat clothes' don't fit. Guess I'm officially down to my maternity capsule wardrobe for the next 7 months!

I even found a new stretch mark on my stomach earlier. [sob] Time to get DH rubbing oil/moisturiser into my skin! I was lucky last time and mostly missed out on stretch marks as DD was quite early. I doubt I'll be so lucky again.

I had my NHS scan on Friday, it was quite entertaining as the sonographer was busy chasing DC2 around as they wouldn't sit still to have their measurements taken! Turns out I was too early for the Nuchal Fold (someone booked my scan too early - my dates haven't changed), so I'm going to have to go back and have another scan in the next two weeks. I was heartbroken as you can imagine. Wink

I made a cake the other day and ate the raw mixture, dobedobedo. I'm still here to tell the tale. Grin With fresh eggs marked with the lion (so vaccinated against salmonella), as long as you're fit and well, the risk is minute. However for some the risk will never be small enough, which is fine. :) Each to their own!

I've made a deeeeelishush spag Bol for lunch today hmmmm can't wait

snoozysleeper · 10/11/2013 13:17

Good afternoon everyone Smile

Ah currently running a bath...

mumof2aimingfor4 · 10/11/2013 13:38

So....im desperate to give my OH a son, and have read that the colour of your urine can show whether a bpy or girl Hmm tmi now but mine is almost luminous (indicating a boy) I drink shed loads of water, always have done and am drinking even more now pregnant (easily 10 pints of water a day) so could it be??? Just maybe.

mumof2aimingfor4 · 10/11/2013 13:39

thistle we've got spag bol for dinner!

bluestone85 · 10/11/2013 13:54

Mmmm spag bol!

Xavielli · 10/11/2013 14:09

We're having cottage pie, really big into comforting meaty food now which is definitely an improvement on bagels 3 times a day.

Are you going to find out mumof2? I really wanted my 3rd to be a boy as DP had 2 daughters.

mumof2aimingfor4 · 10/11/2013 14:14

xav damn right I'll be finding out, booked a private gender scan for 4 days before we go on holiday at Christmas. I will probably end up maxing out a credit card though if its a boy! Lol

dobedobedo · 10/11/2013 16:02

We won the lottery! Grin £25, so we bought a slow cooker. Grin Grin Grin can't wait to have some decent home cooked food which takes no effort.

LittleBairn · 10/11/2013 16:09

spirael my mum always said the same she hated pregancy (TBF she spent 3 whole months in hospital with me due to hypermisser!) but could happily give birth and deal with a newborn.

Well I've decide to exchange one stomach problem with I'm trading acid reflux for lactose intolerance. Hoping dairy will help calm the reflux so I'm eating Ben & Jerry's Fishe Food, purely medicinal of course.

thistlelicker · 10/11/2013 16:10

Our scan is 17 dec and will be finding out the sex, then after that we doing the Xmas markets and goin to do Xmas shopping !!!

LittleBairn · 10/11/2013 16:11

dobe exciting let me know what you think of it .
My DH keeps saying no to one because he thinks they are a fire hazard. So my MIL is buying me one for Christmas. Grin

mumof2aimingfor4 · 10/11/2013 16:17

littlebairn we have a slow cooker and it always comes out of the cupboard for winter! Nothing beats chuciing a load of veg and meat into it and after a long shite cokd day its the best as you can just serve as and when. I love slow cooked venison.

LittleBairn · 10/11/2013 16:20

mumof2 hearty winter food seems a good idea. I was thinking it would be good when busy with a newborn too.

mumof2aimingfor4 · 10/11/2013 16:38

Thought I'd better correct my previous post!

dobedobedo · 10/11/2013 16:44

I've decided to make beef, tomato and broccoli stew in the slow cooker tomorrow for dinner when we come home. I cannot wait!

BigBadWolefPlum · 10/11/2013 17:02

Ive got chilli for tea :)
Mmm!

That person was being knobby moomin - you were talking about Xmas presents not a bloody question about whether baby will be ok (which incidentally it will be fine)

I wish sometimes people would just keep silly comments to themselves x

dobedobedo · 10/11/2013 17:21

I'm feeling more and more movements every day now. It's pretty cool Grin

thistlelicker · 10/11/2013 17:41

Awe I want movements lol

Irisheyessmiling · 10/11/2013 19:04

Gosh this thread moves fast! This is my first to those of you asking (sorry can't remember who, very remiss of me!)
Mmm fajitas tonight then chilling on sofa before stinky old work tomorrow. Hope everyone had nice weekends Smile

LittleBairn · 10/11/2013 19:20
