Eventually! Had their phones on silent. Angry I was THIS close to losing my shit altogether.
Home now. All is well that ends well or something!
I miss wine! Wine

thistlelicker · 09/11/2013 20:28

For them who doesn't have a bump, how do u know location of the baby?

LittleBairn · 09/11/2013 20:50

dobe oh I would be furious no excuse for having phone off.

My tummy bug seems to be a server case of acid reflux which is setting off my ulcer. Nothing is settling it. Feeling Sad

moominleigh94 · 09/11/2013 21:15

On the topic of phones being off, that's twice now I've had to have words with OH for having his phone on silent and not answering when I've called him Angry

I make sure I don't call him in lessons but this is just when he's talking to girls people. His lecturers know I'm pregnant and have told him he can have his phone on with noise or on vibrate on the table in case I need him in an emergency, particularly later on - it worries me that if he's got it on silent in his pocket, if something happens I have no way of contacting him! Angry

I've told him now, if I go into labour and his phone is on silent, it'll be my mum and my best friend with me when the baby's born rather than him. I don't know when I became so assertive Blush

It should be a hard ball thistle I'm 15 weeks so the top of it is roughly half way between my pubic bone and my belly button. You should be able to feel it (sensation-wise, not with your hands) if you lay on your from on the floor, might give you a better idea of where it all is

Xavielli · 09/11/2013 22:01

Phones off/silent drives me bloody nuts! ExP is the worst for this. I was in a&e with ds2 a couple of weeks ago so needed him to pick the big 2 up from school - 32 bloody missed calls. I put a message on Facebook saying we were at the hospital and could someone get the kids and he 'miraculously' called me back. I mean, what if it had been one of his kids in a&e?

Xavielli · 09/11/2013 22:02

'Front' not 'from'

thistlelicker · 10/11/2013 05:43

All night I've had a little throbbing in the left side of my tummy, it's not sore or unpleasant it's just there....
Do we reckon it can be baby??

dobedobedo · 10/11/2013 06:28

That might be it thistle.
Mine feels like a hard ball, you can feel the top of it a couple of inches below bellybutton and I'm especially aware of it if I wear tight jeans or trousers. (really need to get maternity trousers already)

McBaby · 10/11/2013 09:15

thistle with first pregnancy I could never really feel my uterus despite a bump from early on only when kicks started at 19 weeks.

This time I hand been able to feel a round ball getting bigger and bigger from 12 weeks. Not sure why maybe I know what it feels like or lack of stomach muscles or as I weigh a stone less!

But by 20 weeks your uterus should be in line with your belly button and at 12 weeks its just starting to come over your pelvis.

mumof2aimingfor4 · 10/11/2013 09:16

Oh dobe how I wish I could still fit into my pre pregnant clothes! Ive put on 4kg, not impressed! I ate to stop feeling sick. But the nausea has mostly gone now unless im dog tired, I fell asleep in the armchair at home with a slice of pizza in my hand still last night (it was 9 o'clock ish ffs!)

How is everyone today? Day of rest for most?

12+3

moominleigh94 · 10/11/2013 09:31

My family are coming up today, my brother's birthday was yesterday so they're coming up and I'm going to see Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2 and out for lunch at Pizza Hut with them Grin

hamncheese · 10/11/2013 09:35

Up since 3am here. First cats decide to start a fight through the window with another cat outside, lots of banging and hissing and such. Goes on now and again for an hour but you know how cats sound like babies so i am in a state of high alert. Then at four am DS is woken by the bloody cats and spends the next hour and a half chattering away in his cot. And by then its half five and I'm like what's the point he will be up in an hour anyway. My eyes are nipping and I cba.

Moan over :(

dobedobedo · 10/11/2013 09:45

I've put on 2kg, but I lost 6kg in first trimester, so still a bit down overall. I'm sure I'll make up for it in the months to come! With ds I put on 4 stone!! Mind you, I saw pregnancy as an excuse to eat all the food and now I don't.
I could quite happily kill for a runny poached egg on toast right now but runny eggs are off limits in pregnancy, right? Sad

thistlelicker · 10/11/2013 09:51

I'm going to Aldi then changing be sheets having. Bath and climbing back into clean bed !!

moominleigh94 · 10/11/2013 10:02

My mood changes so quickly these days... talking about presents for my brother and sister on the Christmas board, saying how they know I'm pregnant, they're dead excited so instead of me trying to figure out what to get them, they're getting a little stocking each from the baby instead because they can't stop talking about it.

Someone comes on and says "but what if the pregnancy goes wrong?". Well they already know I'm pregnant, if something goes wrong what the fuck am I meant to do about it? If it goes wrong before, the stocking is from us. If it goes wrong afterwards, there's not exactly much I can do, is there?

I don't understand some people Hmm

hamncheese · 10/11/2013 10:21

Some folk just love to find the worst in things...ignore!

thistlelicker · 10/11/2013 10:27

Is anybody actually
Enjoying being pregnant ??

bluestone85 · 10/11/2013 10:34

I have a tub of sour cream Pringles that are calling to me. It would be bad if I ate the whole tube, right? Grin

LittleBairn · 10/11/2013 11:02

ham there is nothing more annoying that cat fights in the middle of the night.
We also have an old quarry/nature reserve behind us with lots of wildlife. Owls are a lot less cute when they wake you up at 4am each night.

I couldn't find my uterus too during my first pregancy but its a lot more obvious during this one, I've tried to show DH where to feel but he can't at all.

dobe runny eggs I would say is a judgement call, I would. The risk is salmonella but very few cases in recent years have involved Lion Marked eggs. A ready preped Salad is far more of a samonella danger but we aren't told not to eat them.

LittleBairn · 10/11/2013 11:03

bluestone its a crime if you don't eat them all. Grin

LittleBairn · 10/11/2013 11:04

thistle I love the fact that we will get a baby out of it but no I wouldn't say I enjoy the physical side of pregancy.

But then I've just spent the weekend vomiting acid water due to awful reflux....

impatientlywaiting · 10/11/2013 11:08

Thistle I'm quite enjoying pregnancy. I've been really lucky in not having sickness, and now the tiredness and achey boobs have passed I'm feeling back to normal with the added excitement of thinking about the baby. So I think that overalls I'm enjoying it.

6 days til I find out whether we're having a girl or boy baby!!

mumof2aimingfor4 · 10/11/2013 11:36

thistle I need a rough pregnancy to put me off having babies! This one was a bit rough for about 5 weeks, but srill not ebough to put me off. On a sad note though I have promised OH that this will be our last (no longer am I aiming for 4 Sad) but he has agreed that I can be a surrogate once, managed to talk him round last week, so we've reached a compromise.

Ive just been a little bit naughty and booked a gender scan for the 21st dec. I cant wait till the new year!

bluestone85 · 10/11/2013 11:37

Hehehe little I will have to tell the husband that when he comes to eat some later and they're all gone Grin
