Oh nature that's great news! And welcome to team pink Smile
Annoying there's another thing they want to check up on, but they're probably just being careful.

Percypiglet · 28/10/2013 21:57

Excellent news nature , glad you are feeling happier about things. A little girly, lovely news.

TobyLerone · 28/10/2013 22:10

So glad you're feeling better about it all, nature :)

Oooooh, sultana, btw! Sainsbury's have got delicious Copella cloudy apple juice on half price at the moment!

Spacefrog35 · 28/10/2013 22:20

TobyLerone · 28/10/2013 22:22

Space, you are so lovely. How is everything going with you?

flyawayblue · 28/10/2013 22:25

Glad things looked good today natureand welcome to team pink :)

Hope things are okay another. Sounds very scary but good that they are allowing you to eat and moving you to a ward.

I also had a day for anoying colleagues and bosses. They don't seem to understand that I can nolonger to 2+ jobs easily and are complaining when things aren't done quickly. Also still haven't sorted out my maternity cover!!

loving the sound of towels with ears - may have to pick some up at the weekend.

sarahleanne · 28/10/2013 22:29

great news nature.Awww a little girly,cute :)

AnotherStitchInTime · 28/10/2013 22:35

Good news nature, congratulations on being team pink.

Have been moved to a ward with a newborn on it, not much sleep for me thinks. Got to have more steroids in the morning just in case, but no more bleeding so crossing fingers that my placenta will behave now so I can go home.

Grr at annoying bosses and colleagues.

Cake all round.

Toothfairy78 · 28/10/2013 23:23

Ooh good news another and nature!

Hoping for continued improvements!

ToothJr appears to have taken up Cossack dancing. I seem to getting kicks in multiple directions this eve???

I also had a neat business idea...antenatal Rage-er-cise. It involves pregnant ladies donning boxing gloves and punching the crap out of a punchbag or a man dressed in one of these suits www.bartitsu.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/Bicycle-11.jpg

Tooth - absolute genius.

Another - hope you're home tomorrow and glad to hear you're not having any more bleeding.

Night everyone!

OnlyThePurpleOnes · 29/10/2013 06:30

Hello all. Been very slack on catching up because - we'll, I'm slack.

Another hope you get home soon! must be so frustrating.
Nature great news,a mad congrats on joining team pink Grin

28 weeks yesterday, little one keeps doing the most insanely painful stretches which culminate in her head smashing repeatedly into my bladder. Was hobbling round the mall at the weekend, trying to keep up with DD, almost in tears. Prolonged walking seems to make it worse. DD had a chest infection over the weekend bless her, and was on the ventolin nebuliser three times a day, which she isn't the biggest fan of. Needless to say there were a few early mornings and late night, and we were all a bit wrecked. Thankfully she's bounced back now and is back in nursery today so I get a bit of a rest!

Ordered a huge box of Christmas bits from tesco which is getting delivered tomorrow (we're overseas), very excited about DH's novelty Christmas pyjamas! Lol. Also got DD a fluffy reindeer onesie which she will be delighted with. £9! Can't do a lot for that round here.

Not long to go now ladies - we're all 3/4 of the way there!

MrsAVB · 29/10/2013 08:43

Morning all!
nature glad you're feeling better and have had some more positive news! congrats on team pink!
another hope you're doing ok and managed to get some sleep. FX for going home today.
humpty, how is DH today? Hope you're both coping ok.
I am having an irrational rage week so far. Yesterday's cuntpuffin boss stuff has really got to me on top of all her past form, then trains were still fucked on the way home from the storm, DH made dinner unreasonably spicy with no good reason, and baby was unnecessarily kicking me painfully yesterday. And now someone has had the nerve to sit opposite me on the train so there's no leg room when there's loads of other seats. Which I've now moved to, giving her a LOOK! I am turning into a grumpy old woman, sigh.
Only 7 weeks left at work, sigh...
Have a good day everyone.

TobyLerone · 29/10/2013 08:54

Ugh, MrsA. I really hate personal space invaders Angry

It's sunny outside and I've done the housework already because my best friend from school is coming over today and I'm quite excited. We haven't managed to see each other for about 5 years -- she has 2 children I've never met. She sadly couldn't make it to my wedding and we promised ourselves then (January!) that we'd meet up soon.

Have good days, all :)

Mythreeknights · 29/10/2013 08:56

Hi all, clocking in, thanks for the squeeze reminders. Does anyone else feel like their fanny is about to fall out? So much pressure, sometimes I just have to sit down. Well, ds1 woke this morning looking peaky again, ds2 has gone into nursery and ds1 is now munching some cereal and is now v chatty so I am starting to think he was trying one on...might leave it half an hour and then get him dressed and into the car if he continues to be so cheerful. It's hard to make a call when they are all weepy and tired when they wake up (or maybe I am just a bit wet!).
Hope storm damage not to bad for those affected. Stunning blue skies and very calm here. However our heating still doesn't work so it's a bit chilly.
puggle take it easy!! Sounds quite scary for you.

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 29/10/2013 09:36

another glad you're on the mend, fx it continues that way.

nature YAY! So glad you had good news. Phew!

Off to hospital in a bit to see DH, he should be coming home today, and I've had a million offers of help with the last of our housemove and everything else, which is lovely and very touching (may have cried a little).

After last night (came home at 5 to wait for Ocado man - stocking up on convalescent food - he arrived at SEVEN THIRTY with no message to warn me, by which time I'd missed evening visiting at hospital) I am thinking today might be a good day for once.

As for rubbish colleagues - sorry, in a rush, cannot remember who said this - I just checked work email to find ANOTHER reminder from our Cairo rep of something he really should be doing himself, and sent him a stinky 'Actually, my husband is in hospital, so this will have to wait' email. Made me feel a lot better - aren't I mean? He couldn't have known. Still, maybe he'll take some initiative.

Have good days all, will check in tonight, hopefully, with DH back home.

MrsGSR · 29/10/2013 09:41

Yay for nature and another getting good news, fx it continues and another and mrhumpty get to go home today.

extracrunchy · 29/10/2013 09:43

Is anyone else thirsty ALL THE TIME?!?
I'm now worrying about whether MW should have tested me for gestational diabetes since I'm measuring about 2 weeks ahead as well... Is being thirsty a symptom? Dr Google says tiredness but seriously, who the hell isn't?!

TobyLerone · 29/10/2013 10:00

Not mean at all, Humpty!
Hope DH is shortly home and comfortable.

extra, I'm thirsty all the time, too. On Sunday I felt like I had a hangover! Really thirsty, headache and knackered. No glucose in my urine at any appointments and my mw didn't seem particularly bothered that I'm measuring a bit big.

extracrunchy · 29/10/2013 10:07

Sounds the same, Toby! Hmmm... Might ring and see what they say cos DS was born at 36+5 at 8.5lbs, which is massive, so might also be an indicator.
Bah.
Humpty good to hear DH should be home soon!

MrsVDB · 29/10/2013 10:18

Had my 28w apt yesterday and mw said I should have already been referred to gtt and dietician due to booking in bmi (34 and cut off here and she hadn't weighed me since so not sure what's changed). She said its too late for dietician so 'just eat less sugar' and then referred me for gtt. No glucose in urine or other indicators (am measuring 1.5 week ahead but apparently that's due to my fat gut)

They don't plot growth on chart here apparently, I thought that was pretty standard?

MrsVDB · 29/10/2013 10:20

Sorry meant to say cut off here is 35 so I'm under

Naturegirl82 · 29/10/2013 10:25

MrsVDB I only got growth plotted on graph at 28 week scan. Was just given measurement and corresponding gestational age up till that point.

Toby and extra I'm mega thirsty at the moment. Drank 3 pints of water last night alone! I was measuring a week ahead on some measurements last night but even then that is still within the limits of "normal".

alteredimages · 29/10/2013 10:32

Morning all!

Glad you're feeling better another, hope you are home soon. I think being anywgere near a newborn at the moment would be enough to make me change my mind about this pregnancy altogether! Felt so sad for your DD, hope she's feeling more reassured now.

humpty yay for your dh coming home and grrrr for crap delivery and egyptian colleagues. We are normally based in egypt and I have worked with enough egyptians that I now really enjoy being difficult and putting crap colleagues in their place. If he gives you any more trouble, I will sort him out if you like. Grin

Was feeling really rough last night. Was worried I am leaking fluid and had some excruciatingly painful contractions. Things seem better now though still think I might be leaking. Baby moving fine, so not sure whether I am just making something of nothing or whether I should call the midwife. Any thoughts?

MrsGSR · 29/10/2013 10:33

This is probably a stupid question, but those of you who have been measured, how were you measured? With a tape measure or...?

alteredimages · 29/10/2013 10:37

Your appointment sounds really positive nature. Little girls are great! Hope things go more smoothly from now on and the next scan rules out any problems. Hope you are able to relax more now and enjoy the calm before the storm rest of your pregnancy.
