Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
adaloveslace · 18/10/2013 12:33

Congrats winkly and good luck. You must have been devastated in August. Fingers crossed this little one is here to stay.

TinyTear · 18/10/2013 12:45

Measuring 5 weeks when it should be nearly 8
I think I'm out.
Rescan in a week but not hopeful

LadyGoneGaga · 18/10/2013 12:46

Crikey, Snowlet. That's scary for you. But I'm sure you haven't damaged your squatter. I expect it's a low blood pressure thing, I'm finding myself feeling faint quite often. You'd have to be really hot for a prolonged amount of time for your core body temp to rise enough to do any harm. If it's any consolation, before I knew I was pregnant with my first I had a massive long turkish bath. He was and is fine.

I did actually go for a little 5k run this morning. Did feel fairly hard and I was running slooowly but suspect that could be a bit psychological and also as haven't run since Monday. I did enjoy it. But it is still so very early for me - will see if I'm up for it in a couple of weeks when my head is in a bucket!

LadyGoneGaga · 18/10/2013 12:50

Oh Tiny, what a worry. Are you absolutely 100% over your dates? Really sorry you're having to go through this Sad. Hoping your dates are just out and you'll have a 6 weeker to look at next week.

MrsGasMan · 18/10/2013 12:54

Oh Tiny, I hope it's just a dates thing Sad

Every scan I had during my pregnancy with my daughter she measured about 2 weeks too small - turns out she is just tiny. But it must be a real worry for you. Wish I had something useful to say.

Snowlet · 18/10/2013 13:02

Oh Tiny fingers crossed there's a reasonable explanation, keep us updated....

LadyGone I hope you're right, I did measure 100/68 during my booking in, which is low for me, and I know I've been constantly dizzy/lightheaded which is why I said no standing poses. Just freaking out I guess.

Good job on your 5k!! I'm considering the parkrun on Saturday, just hang out in the back with the baby buggys and see what happens!

AuntPittypat · 18/10/2013 13:02

Tiny, how worrying for you. Keeping everything crossed that it's just a dates thing or small baby. Can they even be that sure with measurements at this stage when we're literally talking a few millimetres?

Snowlet, I fainted twice before the 12 week stage with DD. Both times was on the train into work when I'd been standing and got a bit too warm. Doctor told me that it was nothing at all to worry about, it was all to do with the sudden increase in blood rushing around my body.

adaloveslace · 18/10/2013 13:02

Oh no, Tiny. X

Snowlet · 18/10/2013 13:14

Aunt thank you so much, it's good to hear I'm not alone. We build these things up so much in our minds don't we? especially when it's the first....

I worry about us all with the stress of the sickness, the job pressure, the agonising over every choice and every niggle - I think they should offer mandatory two month holiday to every newly pregnant lady! Should we try to bring that before Parliament??

Liquidambar · 18/10/2013 13:17

so sorry tiny fingers crossed for next week's scan.

Sussex31 · 18/10/2013 13:23

Hi all, new here. 17 june for me!

Just read mrsgasman's post and it seems we share a birthday as well as a baby due date!

SicknSpan · 18/10/2013 13:32

Oh tiny fingers crossed for you here.

Welcome to Sussex31

pjen been thinking about you, how are things?

TinyTear · 18/10/2013 14:10

don't think there is any explanation. next week is more a formality for people who don't know dates and so on
being 5 weeks would have meant getting my test less than a week after conception, not true

i just have to wait to start thing naturally or ask for ERPC next week, but need to wait for the scan.

I might take this off my 'i'm on' links and not come back for a week.

good luck everyone. i might stick to the RMC thread

MarlenaGru · 18/10/2013 14:14

So sorry tiny

blondiedollface · 18/10/2013 14:24

Light bleeding here, not really sure whether it's just a bleed or mc as I've have 3 UTI's in the past month and this one has gone up to my kidneys, have taken vast amounts of v strong antibiotics and have had an inordinate amount of pain in my abdomen and lower back. Dr appt at 4pm today, not sure what/if they can do anything, but just a formality I guess. I haven't even handed in the forms to book in yet, so not sure what to do about that. We don't have any direct contact with mw here until you actually book in, so not sure how I'd go about getting a scan to check if this is mc or not?

Sorry to hear your news Tanny and PJen I am so hoping for youboth it's just a bleed. Tiny fingers crossed it's dates, feel for you. I so hope everyone else has easy sticky pg.

Xx

LadyGoneGaga · 18/10/2013 14:56

Blondie when I've had early scans due to bleeding I've got the Dr's surgery to give me the midwifes number. She has then referred to the Early Pregnancy Unit who generally let you come in for scan. How pregnant are you? They don't usually scan before (I think) 6 weeks as you can't tell anything before that really. At 6 weeks you should see a heartbeat if all ok. But if this is related to your kidney infection I think the GP will be well placed to advise and can maybe refer to EPU? (not sure about that)

It's such a worry I know but try and stay positive, bleeding is very common and it doesn't always mean the end. Out of three previous pregnancies I only had one I didn't bleed in and I have two children.

Welcome sussex31!

GillyBillyWilly · 18/10/2013 15:00

I'm so sorry tiny. I hope it's somehow a dates mixup or maybe baby is just measuring a bit small at the moment. Again I'm so sorry I hope you're as ok as you can be x ThanksBrew

Cybercat · 18/10/2013 15:01

I'm afraid I'm leaving too. Repeat scan today showed a failing pregnancy. Growth rate was half that it should be, the heart rate irregular and far too slow. I am being rescanned in a week and she doesn't expect to see the heartbeat by then. I'm bowing it now as I don't feel I can stay but I wish all you ladies happy and healthy pregnancies xx

Liquidambar · 18/10/2013 15:14

so sorry tiny and cyber Flowers
thinking of you and wish you all the best.

tiny força, beijinhos e boa sorte

LadyGoneGaga · 18/10/2013 17:09

Sad news, cyber. Really sorry to hear that. Be kind to yourself and try and take some time away from work if you can.

GillyBillyWilly · 18/10/2013 17:37

God what a horrible few days we have had on here. I'm so sorry cyber Sad
Please take it easy, don't blame yourself and stay strong Thanks x

bludgerwitch · 18/10/2013 17:41

Big hugs for you, Tiny and Cyber , really Sad for you both

HannahC1989 · 18/10/2013 18:19

Could you add me to the list 14th june

MAgirl75 · 18/10/2013 18:22

Well, went for my first U/S and it looks like an empty sac - my doctor is not sure if I have actually miscarried or that I am earlier in my pregnancy than we thought (meaning, I ovulated late - which has happened before). So, now I have to wait another week until the next U/S and they will check for growth. I guess it is better that he does this than make me have a D&C (clear out the uterus) when there could be something viable in there, but it is a pain. I would just really like a yes or no answer so I can move forward.

HannahC1989 · 18/10/2013 18:24

Sorry to hear about the ladies who have lost. Thoughts and prayers go out to all of you xx
