Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Lyra - yes this is my first, and don't really have a clue about looking after babies! - Will have to order in a few box sets then! I haven't seen braking bad yet either ....

gawjus glad everything went well with your scan! - all these scan updates are making me impatient for mine now!

FoxMulder · 17/10/2013 16:18

Could somebody please recommend a good concealer? I have the spottiest chin ever witnessed by mankind.

Prambo3TheReturn · 17/10/2013 16:24

I think people who name their children after the latest cult characters from movies/shows are pathetic.

Prambo3TheReturn · 17/10/2013 16:27

I'm with Lyra; Tyrion isn't sexy, but his confidence, wit and total respect for women - including whores - evokes a certain kind of fondness for him.

Prambo3TheReturn · 17/10/2013 16:37

Mummy, I got your joke.

Ice, The Sopranos is supreme among shows. You will not better it

Jolls, you can't call a 40J chest 'breasts', surely? Grin I thought mine were bad at 36G. At this size they are decidedly leaving 'sexy' territory and moving into 'pointless'.

Foxy, the best concealer in the world is <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=www.makeupandbeautyblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/dior-concealer-product-shot.jpg&imgrefurl=www.makeupandbeautyblog.com/product-reviews/dark-circles-be-gone-dior-long-wearing-moisturizing-concealer/&h=207&w=500&sz=30&tbnid=48k5iXxUwSJmNM:&tbnh=90&tbnw=217&zoom=1&usg=__KnKMctmOYD-CE02dYFg04qkyTEg=&docid=JGCse3KDnHVn7M&sa=X&ei=5gNgUubAK62h7Abr3YGYAw&sqi=2&ved=0CIEBEPUBMAU" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Dior. It's hellishly pricey but lasts forever and knocks the socks off that shit Touche Eclat.

Jolleigh · 17/10/2013 16:47

Pram - you're right. They're definitely not sexy anymore and therefore cannot be called breasts. Udders maybe?

Prambo3TheReturn · 17/10/2013 17:04

What were those tumours called that hung off the Elephant Man's body in pendulous drapes of flesh?

faithfulandtruthful · 17/10/2013 17:06

Talking of naming your child after someone totally inappropriate, My ex BFs SIL has just had a little girl, she named Moxy, OK a but unusual but then I found out where she had come across the name. They are rather into online gaming and apparently Moxy is a character in one of these online games, she is a Madame by profession and disses rather provocatively. Real or not that's a reputation to live up to as you grow up!!

I was genuinely shocked.

Prambo3TheReturn · 17/10/2013 17:17

F&T, I thought you were going to say the child was conceived when the mother was on Amoxycillin!

Prambo3TheReturn · 17/10/2013 17:21

The Sky engineer told me I look 30!

LyraSilvertongue · 17/10/2013 17:22

He's right Smile

BakingEating · 17/10/2013 17:27

Fox I find Mac pro longwear concealer really good. It's light but stays put and isn't greasy.

MummyPig24 · 17/10/2013 17:32

I'm a 36H and I know I need to go and get measured for maternity bras but I don't have the money and I am dreading them telling me my knockers have grown even more!

Moxy is a horrid name, it sounds like a disease.

faithfulandtruthful · 17/10/2013 17:34

Yes Mummy like something you might catch if you're a Madame !!!

F&T

LyraSilvertongue · 17/10/2013 17:49

I don't like Moxy at all.

AIBU to serve up the same dinner again tonight, left over from last night? With a side salad for variety? I cba to cook.

MummyPig24 · 17/10/2013 17:50

Definitely not U Lyra. We are having what I like to call "freezer shit" for dinner.

Cassiopeia01 · 17/10/2013 17:55

Blimey. I thought my noughts were big but they are tiny compared to some of you ladies! Have been wearing maternity bras that 'grow' with you a bit but they are just sagging as a result so am going to have to get some better fitting ones I think. And more attractive. Whilst these are uber comfortable they do look a bit like I have just given up ...

Been stupidly tired today. 3 naps! It's all the walking on the beach. Its knackering me out. Home tomorrow so back to normality Confused

Gawj. - glad the scan went well.

lumpylumps · 17/10/2013 18:08

Sorry haven't had chance to catch up. Just had a freak out about the childcare voucher thing. I didn't realise that's how it worked and I've also missed out on cancelling them.

It has made me look into mat pay tho. smp used to be a set amount a week. £134 ish a week. Is it right now that it's calculated according to your earnings?? I'm confused!!!

Prambo3TheReturn · 17/10/2013 18:09

Maternity bras are preposterously ineffective. I hate them with a passion. Where's the separation? Where's the uplift?

Lyra, I love you. 'Nuff said

karamcleod · 17/10/2013 18:09

Had our 20 week scan today, baby is in great health although the ultrasound lady was an arsehole :(
Hope all you ladies are well!

Rockchick1984 · 17/10/2013 18:12

Lumpy you get 6 weeks at 90% of salary, then 33 weeks at £134ish. Unless your work offer enhanced pay!

Jolleigh · 17/10/2013 18:18

7 new tit slings purchased. None are mat bras. I am abandoning mat bras due to them creating a single enormous uni boob out of 2 already engorged monstrosities.

Prambo3TheReturn · 17/10/2013 18:25

Jolls, I a well-jell of your 'proper' bras. Well, well, well-jell Envy

Kara!!!!!!, congrats on the scan. Where have you been? Are you coming back to us with your filthy potty mouth? I've missed you.

Jolleigh · 17/10/2013 18:48

I'm jealous of anyone who looks like the baby is growing in their belly rather than a twin in each boob. Envy

BakingEating · 17/10/2013 18:54

Congratulations Kara! How have you been?
