Also with the LSCS vs forceps I'd say you'd have to speak with a consultant as they'd be unlikely to do this due to the risk to yourself, the baby and future pregnancies, risk of bleeding etc

Grey is it just the Keillands forceps you wouldn't want used? If so apparently lots of hospitals don't use them any more anyway, so ask beforehand rather than worrying (my hospital doesn't use them). They are the ones that have the awful reputation, normal forceps apparently aren't too bad and can be the difference between baby coming out ok or not as it takes time to prep for surgery and sometimes you don't have that time.

For tea I have made: Chicken casserole with lardons and herby dumplings, goose fat roasties, mash and runner beans with shallot butter. Dessert is pear and pecan sponge cake with custard - all home made ('cept for t'custard)!

And I hope it's Ambrosia custard from a tin. Way better than the powdered stuff. I've never made real custard.

Also had a child off sick with confirmed chicken pox - I had it mildly as a child. What's the risk to a pregnant women?

Just made an appointment to see the restaurant we want to buy on Monday. So excited/scared in equal measure.

Dinner tonight was sausage, mash and veg. Boys are with their dad tonight so I'm planning a lazy evening of tv watching.

rasp my blood results showed I am immune to rubella. Isn't that the chicken pox thing? Your blood results would have shown whether or not you are immune. I think the risk is quite low if you have already had it.

Dinner tonight was roast chicken, potatoes, carrots, broccoli and peas. It was yummy. Followed by toffee apple crumble and custard which the kids had. Dh and I didn't fancy any so the rest is in the fridge for whoever wants it.

mummy / rasp - I've had chicken pox, had the mmr and am still classed as 'rubella susceptible' from my bloods. i didn't think chicken pox was rubella though?
