It's quite difficult to give a synopsis of GoT. But there's powerful families, bed-hopping, kings, incest, wolves, White Walkers (creepy creatures), the Dothraki, of which Khal Drogo linked to below is king. It's really very good.

just awoke from my first ever labour dream. Dp was nowhere to be seen the whole time but my estranged sister was my birthing partner which I was apparently cool with. Labour ws easy and v drug tastic cocked my leg and baby just slid out and I vowed I would 'do it all again tomorrow'. Staff forgot to check what it was (they'd taken baby away for a bath) but came back to tell me was a boy. Hmmmmmmm what could this all mean!

I've been meaning to watch GoT for ages. I've read the first book, but as the show was on a channel I don't have access to I haven't managed it yet. PramofThrones, I was going to suck it up and get boxed sets, but are you saying that I can watch it for free?? Or do I still need whichever yank channel it was on in the first place?

Owlina, did you get all your booking bloods done? Could be that one has gone missing and they're bothered about their targets or something? Last pregnancy my MW phoned my husband saying that I had to have a blood test within the next week and a half otherwise I couldn't have a homebirth when in actual fact my consultant had agreed to me having it with the next lot of routine bloods so just because they're chasing it doesn't automatically mean it is desperatelyurgent or worrying. Maybe she was just checking up because a letter could have got lost and she was being efficient/diligent.

Pram we went to a Japanese restaurant. I had steak with garlic mushrooms and then green tea pannacotta for dessert. We then went to my favourite cocktail bar and they made me a non-alcoholic version of my favourite cocktail so I was happy :). I made my dad a belt from a shop.

1 thing I wish they'd done is give him a coloured contact lense so he had 2 different coloured eyes like in the book.

Haven't been on in ages and only managed to skim read. Sorry to hear about those struggling at the mo. Hope you are getting support from family/employers etc. If there's ever a time for us to be taking it easy/having time off this is it! Good news re scan gaw - there are lots of girls about. Had really awful dream last night that I was in early stages of labour and plonked in a waiting room in the hospital with about 40 other labouring women because delivery ward was tempoararily closed due to NHS cuts. Woke up in a cold sweat.
