next to no sleep here again but I'm now giving up and resigning myself to no sleep for the next year... sigh...
exciting news buttons and mrsH!!! yay. You will now probably end up having your babies on the same day - what a civilised compromise...
buttons so happy you will have your mum here with you for the first days after all. And MrsH trust your instincts - I was the same as legally and was very composed and calm so mw assumed I was less advanced than I actually was. People cope with pain differently - you may have a very high pain threshold too. So listen to your body first of all.
Although I lost it slightly towards the end but only for a short while when I was in transition. The reason for my loss of composure was a very young doctor who was "looking after" me. I gave birth in August when all the trainee doctors start their training... he came into the room to check on me (regular doctor checks when you are induced and on the drip). I was almost 10cm dialated, in the worst possible pain, and drenched in sweat after hours of labour. He stood in front of me and asked "can you feel the contractions?" I vaguely remember wanting to kill him... And I didn't respond to him but just looked at DH and said in Italian "is he an idiot? I want this idiot out of the room." Not sure the doc spoke Italian but "idiota" shouldn't be too hard to decipher... DH being a very polite person responded to him "yes she can feel them". He reminded me about it the other day and we giggled. Funny how I completely forgot this episode! The doc probably assumed I had an epidural but one look at me, the patient in front of him, would have sufficed to tell him I didn't!
untitled glad the monitoring went well and glad you had it checked!
legally I had the same problem with DS and found the second month so much tougher... I couldn't put him down and he wanted to be on me all the time. I think it takes them a few weeks to realize what has happened and that they are out. Hope they settle soon... and, likewise, can't believe you are arranging a 3 year old party... a superwoman...
