Hello

Some more good news here, I had a 7 week scan on 28th oct and all well. It was around the me that lots of you were getting sad news so I didn't know how to say.

I'm going for the harmony test in a week or two and am looking forward to another scan. I'm still feeling HORRENDOUS with sickness and fatigue, so fx it's due to a healthy pg.

engels I have been thinking of you. My first mc was a horribly drawn out affair and I just desperately wanted it over with. I hope you c an out it all behind you soon.

Also wishing lots of love and luck to everyone else.

Bakingtins · 08/11/2013 07:09

Congratulations hackney Smile

TinyTear · 08/11/2013 07:51

Great news baking and Hackney

LondonSuperTrooper · 08/11/2013 12:14

Hello ladies,

I too agree that we are becoming very quiet on this thread. I know I have but this is because I tend to retreat in my shell when I'm feeling down or depressed.

Baking that's fab news and I'm pleased that things are going well for you. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
I will take your advice on board and may consider joining the TTC after RMC threads.

Hi to everyone else and I'm sorry for not doing personal messages for you. I'm still trying to get my head around this miscarriage. I'm still bleeding and it's so heavy. I'm having a scan in Monday afternoon and this should show that the has passed naturally. I'm also back at work on .

LondonSuperTrooper · 08/11/2013 12:17

Sorry don't know what happened to the above post.

I also want to express my thanks and gratitude for the fab support and advice I received on this thread. I hope to bump into you all on future threads. Wishing you all the very best and sticky beanies for the future.

CallingAllEngels · 08/11/2013 12:50

Oh london I'm sorry this is dragging out for you.

I definitely made the right decision not to go back to work this week. Am currently sitting down in my Dm and Df's kitchen eating crumpets after a ridiculous shop at Sainsbury's buying paxo, bisto, tins of roses and everything else I could possibly need that is impossible to buy in the Netherlnds (spent nearly £200! Did get a stack of clothes for ds as well but couldn't believe it when he rang up the total!).

Lovely to hear good news from everyone who's still in for June. Once this is over I will definitely head onto a ttc after mc bus - can't face the normal ones. Will keep you all posted as well. I have my next hcg check up on Tuesday, but am going into work in the morning.

Echoing what london said, the support here has been fantastic.

TinyTear · 08/11/2013 13:42

I am in the RMC thread, but still haven't ventured to the TTC after MC yet...

Today is my last day at home and will be back at work on Monday.
Went to get a haircut - hadn't been since last October - that is 2012 - when i went while my DD was settling in the nursery before i went back to work...

and will also pop to the cinema this afternoon...

today I also emailed the counselling services at the hospital as they gave me a leaflet at the epu but i never followed on, so no harm in doing it. they have nothing for wednesdays (my work at home day) but will put me on a waiting list...

Penguinita · 09/11/2013 06:34

Hi all, I've been fairly quiet lately as thankfully this is being a boring and uneventful pregnancy so far. I'm nervously counting down the days to my twelve week scan (8) and obsessing every day over whether my symptoms are disappearing.

I'd appreciate your continuing support until I get through the scan milestone, I'm very scared that something will have gone wrong in the four weeks since my last scan. You girls are great Grin

It makes me very sad that so many on here have suffered losses, it is so unfair. I hope a few of us make it through and give you some hope for the future though. Don't give up! Cake Flowers

tannyLoo72 · 10/11/2013 09:31

Well! I got a BFP this morning! Am in shock (a bit) as it's only 3.5 weeks since the MC.

So many emotions and practicalities in my head.

DH is nervous and I am too. Also don't know what to do next.

Just wanted to tell you, I hope that's alright.

TinyTear · 10/11/2013 09:32

wow tanny
Congratulations!!
So happy for you, we want to wait one cycle and then will be trying again...

Happy for you, hope it's a sticky!

lucyfluff · 10/11/2013 09:34

Wow tanny congratulations!!! Do you mind me asking if you had AF in between or much blood loss?? Im still waiting for AF after loss...day 38!!!

CallingAllEngels · 10/11/2013 12:00

Wow! Congrats tanny - have you had AF inbetween?

With my 1st mc I have one period and then got pg!

I'm back towork bextweekas well tiny.

Has been great to get away this weekend. Good for my head.

penguinita keeping fx for your scan.

Penguinita · 10/11/2013 19:39

Fantastic news tanny! So pleased for you! Grin

tannyLoo72 · 10/11/2013 20:32

Thanks everyone! This is only the start of a long road, and could easily not go anywhere, as you know...

My mc was really light, 2 days full on bleed but then light and spotting for another 3. I went to EPU to get checked out as I thought it was too light, but they thought everything was ok as I tested neg. That was on the Monday and by the Friday I was getting horney and ewcm, so we just enjoyed feeling a bit more normal and had a sex filled few nights.

No af in between and hardly any time!

Getting pregnant has never been a problem for me.

So pleased to have your support! Grin

CarrotCakeMuffins · 10/11/2013 22:50

Congratulations Tanny, that is fantastic news! FX that it works out this time.

Bakingtins · 11/11/2013 08:08

Tanny Smile great news!

I wanted to share a link to a film about recurrent miscarriage that was posted on the RMC testing thread, I thought many of you would find it interesting, but be warned to have the tissues handy! It's on youtube
Well worth watching.

CallingAllEngels · 12/11/2013 18:02

Thanks for the film baking I'll watch when I have a chance (tryign to shrink my mountain of marking this evening!).

I had another appointment today to check HCG and had dropped to level it was 2 weeks ago but still too high (425) so next appointment is in 2 weeks time. Fx it keeps dropping and I can welcome AF (never thought I'd say that!) and get back at ttc again.

Hope everyone with sticky beans is doing well (and those of use without Grin )

tannyLoo72 · 12/11/2013 18:38

Hey Engles hope your levels drop soon.

Baking I want to watch it but I'm already a jibbering wreck...

Tbh, I feel so far from thinking of this bfp as a possible baby that it's making me feel a bit down. I know it's always going to feel like this now, and don't think I've finished processing the last mc.

Bakingtins · 12/11/2013 22:28

It's normal, tanny you are just protecting yourself. I had booking appt today and it just seemed ridiculous to be discussing where I want to have the baby like it was something that was going to happen. All the medics and the MW I've seen start off with "congratulations" and I'm thinking "bit early for all that". The stupid thing is, I know it doesn't even work, if you do lose the baby it doesn't make it any easier. One day at a time, plenty of time to bond later.

Penguinita · 12/11/2013 22:57

Massive thanks for sharing that video baking. Although I first tried to watch it this morning over breakfast and had to stop as I was balling my eyes out after 5 minutes and couldn't go to work in that state! Really touching stories that I am sure many of us can identify with. A big part of me wants to post the link on Facebook to raise awareness but I'm not that brave.

Hope the return to work wasn't too traumatic for you tiny and engels.

Penguinita · 19/11/2013 23:10

Hi girls, not sure if anyone is still following this thread but just wanted to update you that my scan yesterday went well and they moved my due date forwards to 27 May. Just waiting for the combined nuchal testing results now, but the scan measurements were good.

I hope you are all doing well. Wishing you all fresh BFPs or happy scan news ASAP. Flowers

CallingAllEngels · 20/11/2013 06:17

Lovely news penguinita . Thanks for sharing. x

TinyTear · 20/11/2013 08:45

Good news Penguinita

I am still waiting for AF after the ERPC, probably start of December, and then back on trying

tannyLoo72 · 20/11/2013 09:40

Ahh... Penguinita thats lovely to hear! So pleased it's going well.

I'm still up the duff. 5 weeks tomorrow, and the next week will be the most tricky, as it's around the 6 week mark when I mc. So many emotions about the whole thing, am the most scared that I have ruined my chances of a straightforward pg by being impatient.

I have my rmc gynae appt tomorrow so will let you know how this goes.

Sorry for the self centred twaddle Sad

hackneybird · 22/11/2013 22:39

Good luck tanny!
