PJen · 25/10/2013 13:00

Very sad Tiny to hea that. :( good luck to trying again and may this be your last mc.

I don't have a scan this afternoon. I'm going to see my Gp on Monday and ask for referral to a maternal fetal medicine unit that saw me during one of my previous miscarriages. I liked the specialist and the location is very good to me. my usual ob gyn is 45-60 mins drive and with work I have to take a half day off for each scan. I will ask Gp for a scan on Monday and I'm sure he will give me one. My Gp is lovely. :)

LadyGoneGaga · 25/10/2013 13:15

So sorry, Tiny. All the best for future trying.

TinyTear · 25/10/2013 13:26

Thanks everyone!

Ah sorry Jen, misunderstood! good luck for Monday then

hackneybird · 25/10/2013 15:48

Thinking of you tiny and engels.

Congrats penguinita and carrot.

I have a scan on Monday at lunchtime when I will be 7+3. Not holding out much hope as I am starting to feel suspiciously 'well'. DH and I had a horrendous row as well this morning, I have been on such a short fuse lately.:(.

LondonSuperTrooper · 25/10/2013 15:48

Tiny, so sorry to read your sad news. I'm thinking of you. Keep strong!

CarrotCakeMuffins · 25/10/2013 17:39

Tiny very sorry to hear your news.
Sending you lots of Thanks and Cake

Penguinita · 25/10/2013 17:47

So sorry to hear that tiny. At least you now have a definite answer and a plan to move on. Make sure you give yourself plenty of Wine and Cake this weekend, you deserve it.

TinyTear · 25/10/2013 18:11

hell yes! it's my husband's birthday tomorrow so won;t need an excuse not to drink!

tigsnchar1 · 25/10/2013 20:57

Sorry to hear your news, Tiny, difficult times.

On the brighter side I hope to see you and the other lovely ladies back here in a couple of months!

KatAndKit · 27/10/2013 07:26

Sorry to hear it was bad news tiny wishing you all the best for trying again.

i am also feeling suspiciously well. I had nausea for a couple of days but it seems to be better now. No sore boobs, only tiredness, and that could be explained by poorly toddler. Hmmm. Only six weeks so epu here wont scan for two more weeks. Am getting so anxious. Gaaaah. Feels like my life is on hold.

LondonSuperTrooper · 27/10/2013 13:17

Hi everyone. Hope that you are all having a restful weekend. Mine is utterly rubbish- I've started bleeding about 2 hrs ago :( I can't stop crying. I'm going to try and get a referral to the EPU for a scan. Tomorrow can't come soon enough!

LadyGoneGaga · 27/10/2013 13:53

Sad London. Hopefully it's not sinister and the EPU will see you quickly. Thinking of you.

tannyLoo72 · 27/10/2013 14:02

Hi London, here was me thinking it was a quiet weekend on here Sad .

Really hope it's just a bleed, and EPU can put your mind at rest. Big big hugs.

Thinking about you and Jen tomorrow x

I'm ok. My mojo has come back with a vengeance, might be ovulating. Eek!

TinyTear · 27/10/2013 15:53

London, hope ti's not a bad bleed. as i said before, a friend from Feb 12 just had a lovely girl last week and had MASSIVE bleeds at 7 or 8 weeks (which was her losing a twin it seems) and the girl is thriving...

On the other hand I know my baby is not viable and haven't bled since spotting at 4w...

wooo tanny get going! Grin

LondonSuperTrooper · 27/10/2013 16:02

Thank you Lady & Tanny I've already rang the EPU but it's not manned at the weekend. Hopefully the midwife will ring me back with a scan date.

Tanny glad that you've got your mojo back ;)

Jen good luck!

lucyfluff · 27/10/2013 16:24

Good luck London thinking of you Smile x

KatAndKit · 27/10/2013 16:55

Oh crap london you must be so worried. I have bled in every pregnancy ive had. I bled more in the one that resulted in an actual baby. Hope it is just a light bleec and you can get answers soon.

CarrotCakeMuffins · 27/10/2013 17:06

FX for you London. Hope you get a scan tomorrow.

IBelieveInEngels · 27/10/2013 18:04

Fx for you london

PJen · 28/10/2013 11:40

Good luck London

TinyTear · 28/10/2013 11:43

Good luck with your appointments today PJen and London

LondonSuperTrooper · 28/10/2013 14:50

Thank you all so much. I've heard from the midwife. Unfortunately all scan appointments are taken. The earliest appointment that's available is Wednesday afternoon. I'm not holding out for good news as my bleeding is a little bit heavier now. I just can't face another scan on my own with bad news again. My DH is working and can't get time off on such short notice :(

Pjen have you had your scan yet?

IBelieveInEngels · 28/10/2013 14:53

How agonizing london Is there anyone else who can come with you?

TinyTear · 28/10/2013 15:00

How terrible! You'd think they would be able to fit you in as an emergency. we aren't talking a normal 'take a picture' scan...

what is your local hospital, could you pop to a& e and ask to get scanned? or would they just send you back to wait till wednesday?

Bakingtins · 28/10/2013 15:00

Hello! Can I join? I've had 4 Mc, 3 of which were in the last year trying for our third child. Prof Quenby has diagnosed me with High NK cells and I'm now 8+4 on pred, clexane and progesterone. I had a positive 8 week scan last week and have another one on Thursday. I recognise Tiny from the RMC testing thread on the miscarriage board and she suggested I pop over. I said I wasn't brave enough for the big June bus but didn't realise there was an RMC one.
I'm at home mumsnetting today because I fainted this morning, so will have a chance to catch up with the thread. I hope it's a very uneventfull ride for us all.
