roxvox · 03/10/2013 12:27

SFW @ 40+1, but am in the hospital being monitored for reduced movements. Wasn't feeling much yesterday, and even less today. 22 minutes I've been strapped up and criteria still not met (this is the first time I have been monitored).

Pleased to hear they're going to get your rescheduled for this afternoon MoN!

notsoold · 03/10/2013 12:29

MoN poor lady!!! If there is a time when we need support is during pregnancy/ labour.
Although I am not a softie person I was horrified yesterday when we went for a visit of the hospital ward.
I was with dh that has a terrible sense of direction and at least 3 times diferent OHs made a comment regarding their pregnant ladies or wives/ girlfriends... This in a group of 10 couples!!!
DH kept looking at me unsure if he was hearing correctly ( he is hard of hearing and even with a hearing aid he couldn't hear well yesterday).
The women were mortified and 1 looked quite upset. Incredible.....
Rant over!!!
I am sitting at the diabetic clinic for my weekly review. As pg progresses I miss at least one meal per day ( or end up being sick) and even then the sugar is just under control. Let's see what they say :s

ImpOfDarkness · 03/10/2013 12:37

I had snail trails on my clean washing on the line this morning. Acrobatic little buggers, can't imagine how they got up there Angry

Woke up with one cramp / contraction / whatnot at 5 this morning, but nothing since other than heartburn. I can tell you that sardines on toast repeating on you the day after is not pleasant.

Racheld33 · 03/10/2013 12:40

mon sending lots of love to you this afternoon

jelly and doobeedee congratulations!!!!

I am SWIL after yesterday's sweep, constant mild cramps and constant bloody show (sorry TMI). Luckily feel fine, but getting impatient now!

roofio87 · 03/10/2013 12:56

mon greag news!!
I've been for growth scan, all fine, baby about 7-8lb. mw tried to give me a sweep but am firmly closed, so considering that and the worry about his heartbeat I'm going in to be induced tonight!! so baby roofio should be here by the end of the weekend at most. exciting!!!

xuntitledx · 03/10/2013 12:57

Whoop Rachel - might you have baby later today then?!

littleducks · 03/10/2013 13:04

I have been lurking lots during night feeds, but find it hard to post from tablet as I can't scroll to see who I'm replying to.

I tried to add myself to birth spreadsheet but struggled with order and colour, if anyone can edit it right please do.

MON- fingers crossed it moves a long soon

hope all is OK flyer

aargh! bsby stirring and oven timer just went for lunch back in a moment

ananikifo · 03/10/2013 13:05

roxvox and notsoold I hope everything turns out ok and you and your babies are healthy.

rachel good luck! I hope you see your baby soon!

pinkforboys it makes me feel better to hear other people have had this. I coated the sinks with half a container of salt last night. It was the only way I could sleep! The good housekeeping board made me feel much better by telling me it was normal, like spiders in the bath. DH wants to call a plumber but I don't think I want to pay for that right now and I don't actually think it'll help the slug problem. He's still in France so we're discussing this via text message. Not ideal at all! imp they really are horrible aren't they? I would be terrified of finding one inside my clothes.

Wickedgirl · 03/10/2013 13:06

Good luck roofio and Rachel. Not long now for either of you hopefully

ananikifo · 03/10/2013 13:06

Oh wow roxvox, good luck!

ananikifo · 03/10/2013 13:06

I mean roofio.

Sephy · 03/10/2013 13:10

Exciting to be constantly refreshing, waiting for news of more babies!

Taking my mind off the fact that my washing machine broke yesterday so I now can't finish all washing all those baby clothes that I'd planned. Guess slightly better timing than in the week after baby's arrival, but still annoying!

MotherOfNations · 03/10/2013 13:31

OWT

Pinkforboys · 03/10/2013 13:41

Good Luck MoN!!!!

cazboldy · 03/10/2013 13:44

good Luck mon x

and you too roofio x

littleducks · 03/10/2013 13:46

yay! MON

sparkeleigh my contractions were sharp pains under my bump, dh could sort of feel my bump harden but I couldn't. The most identifying feature is the 'wave' of increasing pain to a peak then subsiding.

roxvox- fingers crossed for you

good luck roofio and Rachel sounds like it wont be long

roofio87 · 03/10/2013 13:57

thanks ladies. at home faffing about like a headless chicken, half exxited half terrified that I'll soon have my baby. going back to the hospital at 6pm for the pessery and see how that goes. dp can stay till 9 then come back again at 9am to antenatal ward and obviously earlier if things progress!!

snowgal · 03/10/2013 14:04

Good luck mon, will be thinking of you

xuntitledx · 03/10/2013 14:16

How exciting roofio - hope everything goes well x

roxvox · 03/10/2013 14:18

Home again now. Although I only had 1 or 2 movements in the hour that I was on the machine, they were happy with the results overall. I've been told to go back if I get concerned again. Pleased to be home (and DH was incredibly supportive bless him).

Good luck MoN and Roofio!

TheFalconsmistress · 03/10/2013 14:21

Congratulations jelly and doobeedo :)

Good luck roofio mon and rachel

tarlia she up her formula intake to 4oz but not increasing in time still every 3hrs ish if I was able to breastfeed with her Imagine she would never be off the boob!

HeffalumpTheFlump · 03/10/2013 14:24

Hope mon is ok!! So glad it's happening today after all.

Good luck to those swil and being induced! It's all happening now Grin

Had my pre op appointment, all went well. The midwife was quite shocked at how far up in my ribs baby is still. I think if I wasn't having a section next week then I would most likely be in the overdue club!

Poor dh is getting barely any sleep at the minute because of me. If I'm not waking him up going to the loo, I'm pushing him out of the bed stretching out with my pregnancy pillow. I think he's going to start sleeping on the sofa soon!

pinkbuttons · 03/10/2013 14:27

So glad they've managed to sort something out MoN! Thinking of you this afternoon x

Good Luck to Rachel and roofio I think October 3rd is going to be a popular birth date Smile

roxvox hope all is going ok at monitoring.

Just back from hospital, BP went right back down and just have to call at 3 for my blood results but hopeful that they will be fine. Have monitoring on Saturday just to make sure all is staying normal and it was just a blip and if all ok then Im still on for MLU.
I did have PIH before tarlia but started much earlier, was a bit worried this morning as ended up very ill with DS but midwife said if it stayed high they would just induce me rather than trying to hold off.

So back to just waiting for something to happen but with a lot more monitoring.

Think Ill be refreshing all afternoon and evening now waiting for these babies to arrive.

Natalie did your pains come to anything last night??

pinkbuttons · 03/10/2013 14:30

Sorry cross posted, glad all is ok roxvox
and glad pre op appt. went well heffa

Tarlia · 03/10/2013 15:39

Can't stop refreshing, but nobody is saying anything!? Are you all doing the same? Haha

Glad your Bp is back down p.buttons fingers crossed

Glad all ok rox

Good luck rach, roo and anyone else SWIL
