37+2 and SC. Only 5 days til C-section...

MoN glad your ILs are lovely. Good luck for tomorrow.

Goodluck oddlife too and all the ladies who are SWIL.

legally - so impressed!

Forgot to say earlier, thanks Bridget for your post about your delivery. I think I've always felt a bit sad that I haven't managed to have a normal delivery and that I've missed out on that emotional high/bonding moment. Though at the time I was just glad to get the baby out safely.

Starting to feel more organised. Over the past few days I have packed my hospital bag, ordered a pram, sorted out the car seat, got my flu jag, pre-op assessment tomorrow and then hopefully a quiet weekend before the calm is shattered!

Is yours on Monday too Moon?

Thank God someone mentioned the swollen lady bits. I just freaked myself out in the shower when I suddenly realised it's about twice the size. I was going to ask on here but couldn't think how to describe it apart from 'a fat fanny'.

It had better go back to normal or I'll never be able to wear skinny jeans again!

Also, last thing before I go to bed - KarmaBiatch I have updated the spreadsheet with your details! I like your name choice Smile

I have also given the spreadsheets a little tidy/organise. If anyone wants anything added/removed/altered but can't get to a PC to do it then I am happy to update it for you tomorrow unless I am in the throws of labour , just let me know Grin

41 minutes until I can claim I am overdue and SFW!

Night night everyone, I hope you all get a good nights sleep. Thinking of those SWIL and pre-OWT tonight. xx

Good luck for tomorrow Oddlife. It might be a busy day on the thread tomorrow if things progress nicely for doobee and jelly.
I'm drinking water obsessively right now because I'm fasting from midnight and am worried about waking up really thirsty and not being allowed to drink so looks like I'll be up all night peeing instead.

Yes pseudo. Does that make us section buddies? I'm actually 38+2, blaming baby brain!

Things I'm looking forward to about not being pregnant any more:

  1. seeing my lovely baby
  2. no more snoring Blush and horrid dry mouth in the morning
  3. end of heartburn
  4. being able to roll over in bed without planning it like it's a military operation
  5. being able to get up without sounding like an old woman
  6. having an excuse to sit on the couch for long periods and eat lots of cake (aka breastfeeding)
  7. drinking alcohol occasionally
  8. eating all the food I've been avoiding for months
Are there any I've missed out?

fave I cannot believe what happened to little Jack. The poor mite :( and what a shock for you guys. I hope he recovers really quickly and you get to go home together soon.

mon and odd best wishes for tomorrow.

badger I'm sorry your Bp is still high. Hope youve gone in for monitoring again tonight. so now you have protien too - so are they calling it PE? Trandata isn't really working for me. Being referred to a cardiologist.

legally double cream! Congrats!

We had Baby tarlias hearing test today, he can hear perfectly, so that's really good news. Monday went well with the nurse, but she couldn't decide whether to be worried about his weight gain - day 11 and he was back up to birth weight + 1/2 and oz. he is def getting milk, so fingers crossed its much higher next week!

Tarlia · 03/10/2013 00:17

rachel and doobee and jelly best of luck, seems like baby is coming soon.....

41 weeks today, and MW attempted sweep but screamed fr her to stop cause it was painful, she didn't even get to my cervix!!!! A bit disappointed I didn't get it done cause it wasn't that bad but I couldn't relax as I kept anticipating more pain. Induction booked for Monday, hope baby comes before then. Sob sob.

Omg just found a slug in the kitchen sink. Shock I've taken care of this one but what if there are more? Confused

Report
ananikifo · 03/10/2013 01:36

Sorry for the outburst everyone.

I hope the births go well tomorrow and will eagerly await updates.

After cleaning and salting the kitchen I'm going to bed to have nightmares about slugs in the house and practicing my relaxation techniques.

Quick update

Came in to hospital at 8pm for trace on baby for reduced movement. Docs weren't happy as heart rate flat and no movement so at 9pm they decided I needed a section. My big Jellybaby was born at 10pm by EMCS and weighs in at a healthy 9lb 2oz. Still in shock but he seems to be doing ok. Will try catch up with thread later but now I need some sleep and to save my phone battery.

Good luck tomorrow MoN x
