spook · 13/07/2006 08:32

wheelybug · 13/07/2006 08:41

So sorry to hear that trace. Will be thinking of you.

Jaysecond · 13/07/2006 09:04

Shit Trace, words seem so irrelevent when something like this happens. I hope you have some good friends round you for support as your DH has had to go to work. SEnding out positive vibes to you both. ((((((hugs)))))

1973magpie · 13/07/2006 09:42

Trace, I am so so sorry to hear this, I think you sound as though you are being really brave too

Can you just curl up on the sofa for the day, eating chocolate, watching crappy daytime tv and looking after yourself?

Take care, will be thinking of you ((((hugs)))), magpie.

1973magpie · 13/07/2006 09:50

Sorry, forgot to say 'Morning' to everyone looks like I'm not the only one waking up before 7am then? (unheard of for me!)

Hope everyone else is ok on this fine sunny morning?

I am feeling quite rough (tired, sick, sore boobs, general crappiness), but don't feel as though I should be complaining when I read others sad news

Any suggestions for someone struggling with a full-time job and seemingly having lost any ability to think clearly or make rational decisions..?

LaidbackinAsia · 13/07/2006 09:59

Sorry to hear your news Trace. Big hugs across the ocean. ((()))

Jaysecond · 13/07/2006 10:29

Magpie, not sure what you can do re 'feeling like someone took your brain and replaced it with a jelly like mush...other than stop work!! I know i know prob not possible, it will get easier as time goes by, either that or you just become used to putting the catfood in the microwave and the baby food in the cat bowl.......yes i really did that, oh and the cheese in the cooker once also!!

I still dont feel pregnant btw....i keep looking at the test and checking to seeif it really said positive... it did so i must be.

What everyone up to today?

Piffle · 13/07/2006 10:31

I was even lying in bed last night thinking about tonights supper and I actually THOUGHT " chicky sticken"
What has happened to my brain?????
My boobs have eased off a bit but are giving Lea a run for her money (I am usually 32A )

Jaysecond · 13/07/2006 10:47

keep positve piffle am sure all will be ok for you. Let us know how you get on with your scan, when are you six weeks?

HAHHAHAHAH spook, its funny when what you mean to say or think comes out back to front, i knew a lady who wrote down all of the 'spoonerisms' she came out with when she was pregnant. It still makes us chuckle now when we read them back!!! Get writing, its makes for a hearty laugh when you are having a blue day!

ChaCha · 13/07/2006 11:30

Hello All - new to post here - didn't see it before...

5 weeks today edd - 15th March, 07.

Me - 30
dp - 36
ds - 3.8

I've got headaches, didn't get them last time. Is this normal? Apart from that, really tired. We live in Malaga and dp works in the UK so is away a lot. I'm finding it hard making it until 8pm when ds goes to bed. Its also v. hot! Glad I'm due before next summer - would hate to do this at 8 months pg.

Nice to 'meet' you all.

thankyoupoppet · 13/07/2006 15:17

hi trace, so sorry for you, but I just had to post to tell you that I had a small clot type bleed at this time with my ds2 and it was an inplantation bleed, very common and not a problem, I really hope this is what you have had. This time round I have definately had an early misscarriage, thankyou for all of your kind words, I feel totally ok now and looking forward to trying again. x

dixia · 13/07/2006 15:30

Hello Trace - I hope it turns out to be nothing to worry about, but I feel very sorry for you. Hope you are coping alright.

Jaysecond · 13/07/2006 16:40

Hi dixia, welcome to due in march, i have ahd a few headaches, but i put it down to the heat over here, sounds like i am abroad myself, but no, just sunny hot humid muggy surrey, might also have something to do with the hormones etc...!
Nice to hear from you poppet glad you are feeling ok now, and even gladder you are looking forward to the furture!
hi to everyone else also, hope you are keeping cool in this heat! Chacha how did your scan go? Feb or March?? and yes i was formally jaysfirst!

Booboobedoo · 13/07/2006 17:24

Hello & welcome dixia

thankyoupoppet - glad to hear you're feeling strong: hope it happens for you again really soon.

Yes, Piffle, it's me: Hopecat. My hopes and dreams have come true, so I thought I should change my name! Glad you're here . Any symptoms yet? (Apart from insomnia).

I'm sick as a dog and totally miserable. Feel stupid even typing it, as I've wanted this for so long, but I feel stinky. Literally can't do anything without wanting to be sick. (Or actually being sick).

Spoke to DH to ask him to pick me some stuff up on the way home from work, and ended up in tears (again). He kept saying "I made you feel like this - with my willy". Which made me laugh.

Will stop moaning now and tell myself how lucky am.
