imeg thinking of you.

grey congrats on a boy!!!! How exciting.

prambo quilt cover sounds a lovely idea, second hand would be fine I'm sure.

So sorry so many of you suffering from ms still. I'm feeling much better now tbh, not so shattered, but still hungry all the time.

Which brings me to today's highlight... DH went to Gregg's in his dinner hour and brought home the infamous banana milkshake doughnut! I can honestly say it was delicious and incredibly sickly. Took me the whole of breaking bad to eat it!

Midwife appointment tomorrow, hoping I'll get to hear the baby's heartbeat. Exciting times.

Prambo · 23/09/2013 23:02

Imeg, please don't think I am being crass but I have heard of this condition because there was a whole episode of Nip/Tuck dedicated to it (an American plastic surgery drama). It was very sensitively handled and I wasn't half as shocked by the end of the show as I had been initially. I can see why you wouldn't consider your husband disabled x

Prambo · 23/09/2013 23:02

Lyra, you are a grammar Nazi and I love you for it Smile

Prambo · 23/09/2013 23:03

Kara, your pickled vadges are making me cringe, woman! Grin

Prambo · 23/09/2013 23:08

Owl, did you think the doughnuts were dead sickly then? What did you think of the cherubic cum in the middle? You're going to love your baby's heart beat tomorrow, what time is the appointment? My midwife is coming at lunchtime Smile

LyraSilvertongue · 23/09/2013 23:12

Grammar nazi and proud of it Smile

Prambo · 23/09/2013 23:23

How about its and it's? Your and you're? Whose and who's? I could go on forever....

LyraSilvertongue · 23/09/2013 23:26

Lose and loose is another one that bugs me.

LyraSilvertongue · 23/09/2013 23:31

Anyone else still constantly feeling like they need a wee when there's only a thimbleful in there? It's infuriating.

JK10 · 23/09/2013 23:42

imeg Cake

Hi guys I'm so behind, just read the last few pages but I'm still on Thursday of last week!! Can we just pause for a few days then I'll be back on track!!

Can't believe ppl are findin out the sex already!! Congrats to u guys! I've had such a busy week that I quite often forget I'm pg esp as I still haven't told anyone, just the extra weight I have put on, so worried about it, before I got pg I lost nearly 2 stone, I'm 16+1 and put on 9lb already, so many of u have lost weight. Gonna restart my diet Monday, don't wanna end up where I was at the beginning of this yr.

Gonna try read a few pages before bed!

MummyPig24 · 24/09/2013 04:43

Imeg huge hugs for you.

I want my 16 week appointment now! I have to wait till next Monday and before that I have my horrid flu jab. I'm just desperate to hear baby's heartbeat, I can feel him moving but I'm still worried that something's going to go wrong.

The little bugger is playing havoc with my body. I'm awake at a stupid hour, I was desperate for a wee and really hungry. Which is so annoying, I should either go straight back to sleep (I've tried and failed), or not bother and just getup.

IceNoSlice · 24/09/2013 06:01

Morning MummyPig, I remember the middle of the night wees and subsequent insomnia only too well from last time... It has started so soon this time.

DS has developed a bit of a rash on his cheek. I'm a bit concerned about this slapped cheek malarkey. Off to have a google.

BakingEating · 24/09/2013 06:43

I spend a lot of time thinking I need a wee of epic proportions only to push out a trickle. Very irritating, as are the midnight wees.

x0gawjus0x · 24/09/2013 07:03

Wonder77 · 24/09/2013 07:06

ice I've been exposed to slapped cheek this week. Mw said I need to have blood test to check my immunity( she said most adults are immune) if I'm not there's not a lot they do except wait for symptoms to manifest . So, blood test Thursday - going to ask for my immunity to a couple of other things checked too as I am in contact with children all day! Think it is mil dish when children contract it though- but check.

Wonder77 · 24/09/2013 07:08

jk if it helps I have put on way more than 9lb I reckon as eating has been the only way to stop feeling sick!

BakingEating · 24/09/2013 07:08

Feeling your pain apprentice. Not sure I can be bothered to get of this nice, warm train and walk into work...

OwlinaTree · 24/09/2013 07:10

prambo the doughnut was lush, but I wouldn't want to go on a bouncy castle after eating one! Grin

Oh yes to constant weeing, and only a tiny bit coming out. My pg book days this is supposed to stop soon, fx.

Midwife is at 940, so a lie in for me as not worth going to work first!

Rockchick1984 · 24/09/2013 07:19

JK this pregnancy calculator is quite good for tracking your weight gain to see if it falls in the right area for number of weeks.

Gaw my scan is only £55, for double the price I'd expect a decent appointment length!

Lyra my husband frequently says "I borrowed it to someone" if for example he's loaned a ps3 game to a friend Angry it drives me insane!!!

Jolleigh · 24/09/2013 07:27

Think I need to buy something baby . Only I can't decide what. Mum's getting my pram, we're getting the cot after 20 weeks, so no biggies. Maybe a changing matt? Can't go wrong with a changing matt Grin

Rockchick1984 · 24/09/2013 07:30

Changing mat sounds good Joll - or a cute little unisex sleepsuit? First thing I bought for DS was a white sleep suit with stars on, it was about £5 from tesco but I still look at it now and get all choked up remembering that it was his first outfit Grin

apprenticemamma · 24/09/2013 08:12

baking you can doo it ((cheerleading)). I'm allowing myself a coffee per morning and kettle is on Wink

Jolleigh · 24/09/2013 08:15

ooh, Rock you do have some good ideas Grin Think there's a chance I'll be doing some spending this morning.
