spoke too soon am in agony this eve Sad I shall be on the phone first thing.

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 26/09/2013 21:30

Trix is there any chance you are having contractions? It's been niggling me the way you described it as being in your back and front and your legs. I had awful spd and pelvic problems but it never caused a pain in my stomach...

How you feeling today trix?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 27/09/2013 07:11

Morning brookers!

How are you Trix? I hope you managed to get comfy enough to get some sleep. Did you get through to a MW?

cartoontrickster · 27/09/2013 08:01

loopy & sparks to be honest it had crossed my mind but I told myself not to be stupid, especially since I was told these are growing pains. now I have a fairly low pain threshold but surely they don't hurt this much.
once I was in bed I was ok. woke up at 4am for a wee which blooming hurt, in my pelvis I mean. I was hurting a bit trying to find a comfortable position back in bed but again ok once I did.
since in home alone atm and the doctors opens in a min I'm going to phone there first and see what they say.

cartoontrickster · 27/09/2013 08:16

some times I get a sudden pain in my stomach where my bump feels a little harder or tighter. but it passes after I don't know like 30secs. a bit like a sudden period cramp.
which is what I believe a contraction is like?

cartoontrickster · 27/09/2013 10:37

been in to see my doc. its a mixture of bh and growing pains. Jesus Christ how I'll cope with actual contractions I don't know. also I have to have an ultra sound on my heart as there's a slight murmer.
where is everyone today?Hmm

NoMaybeAboutIt · 27/09/2013 10:41

That's good you've been reassured Trix. Try not to worry about the murmur, most are just 'one of those things'

I'm really not feeling well today. Couldn't sleep as my back hurt, I know feel extra sick and keep feeling like I'm going to have diarrohea but I don't. Feeling decidedly sorry for myself Sad

cartoontrickster · 27/09/2013 10:44

god maybe what a pair, I've been feeling sorry for myself too.
is there nothing the doc can do for you?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 27/09/2013 11:23

I feel bad about going to the GP. Like j shouldn't complain. And I'm worried about what work are going to say, but can't see how I can get through work yet.

I've taken my meds today as it's quite bad. Hopefully they'll kick in soon Smile

cartoontrickster · 27/09/2013 11:35

hope so. I feel like that too, that I shouldnt complain. but if your ill your ill and you shouldnt and don't have to suffer.

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 27/09/2013 12:30

Right, I have 170 balloons to blow up before Sunday's big party, but I have just enough time to tell you both you are pregnant, growing entire new people from scratch, no matter how hard you fought to get this far, you are allowed to find it not all joy and blooming loveliness, you can moan, see the doc and not find it easy, cos it ain't easy!! Did I mention growing a whole new person!!! Right, back to my balloon hell Wink

ThedementedPenguin · 27/09/2013 12:33

trix I'm glad you got to see the doctors today and at least know what's happening. During labour you get these great things called drugs if you need them. Grin

I feel awful today. Worst I've felt in ages. Haven't had any proper sleep since Tuesday. I've been up at least 4 times with ds past two nights. I need sleep. I need to stop feeling sick.

Dp and I went out for breakfast and I nearly threw up over his eggs. It's been a tough morning.

Sorry for moaning so much.

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 27/09/2013 12:48

Grin Come on ladies, you're doing the hardest job in the world, please don't feel bad for moaning!!

cartoontrickster · 27/09/2013 12:51

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 27/09/2013 12:59

hi all - i'm just at work, haven't run away or anything... trix i'm so glad you got to see your doctor, and that it's nothing major, though sorry it's so painful. Hopefully the real contractions won't be any worse. Hmm I wouldn't worry too much about the heart murmur - heart things are vv common in pregnancy and hopefully it'll just be short term. Just yesterday I kept noticing I get an extra strong beat, or an extra beat or something, every now and then. DH didn't seem worried. But it's good they're going to do an u/s on it ask to see treats at the same time just to make sure. Are you off work today?

maybe this may be a silly question, but why haven't you been taking your meds every day...?! Are you planning on not going back until after m/l Grin No, seriously, there's no point in you going in if you can't do anything. Maybe in a week or two you can work from home. Don't you do research or something? That sort of thing takes forever, so a few weeks won't make a difference. Or am i talking shite again.

God, I can't wait for a lie in tomorrow morning. DH has promised me breakfast in bed and a massage.

5 weeks until i finish work! never mind i've only just started

can i just say how much we appreciate those with their brooking babies keeping an eye on us clueless ones!

I have been incredibly fortunate in this pregnancy (touch wood) - was just out last night and this girl was telling me she had HG for the first 4.5 months, then literally 2 days of feeling normal, then SPD kicked in and she was on crutches till 4 months after the birth. I felt like a bit of a wally saying how I felt a bit tired... Grin

cartoontrickster · 27/09/2013 16:02

im glad I went keep at least I know what it is now. but really bh are supposed to not be painful? well Mr john braxton bloody hicks have you ever had one! I know I'm a wimp but seriously this hurts rather than being just uncomfortable. but never mind as long as its not bothering treats.
I am at work but havent done much just a few phone calls. mostly sat at my desk and gotten up for the odd walk about.
I joined the nct. am thinking about going to their yoga class.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 27/09/2013 17:03

Sounds like the perfect Saturday morning to me Keep Grin. I haven't taken them because the GP scared me saying she wouldn't recommend taking them all the time and just to rest Hmm I'm a medical writer, so very easy to work from home. I just want to feel normal again Smile

How you feeling now Trix? And you too Pen?

How many balloons Boo?! I'm so excited for toddly! He's going to have so much fun!

cartoontrickster · 27/09/2013 17:45

a bit sore maybe. I've just struggled to manover myself on to the sofa to put my feet up. this is where I now intend to stay until bed time. Smile
I don't envy you at all maybe its not nice. how many weeks are you?

ThedementedPenguin · 27/09/2013 18:24

maybe I feel just as crap. Just after what little i could manage for dinner.

Heading to Dps parents house now. So I'll hopefully get a break.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 27/09/2013 20:26

Would a nice soak in the bath help Trix? Nearly 15 weeks!

Pen you poor thing. Maybe try and get an early night if you've got some help?

ThedementedPenguin · 27/09/2013 20:41
