Thought I would treat you to a new thread as you lot are far too busy growing new people to do it

does any one have tips for the growing pains? should I rest or keep moving. its pretty much a constant ache all round back, tummy and down my legs. I left the midwife a message yesterday morning but havent heard from her.

Just lurking and saw trix's post. My stretching pains with both ds's weren't as bad as that or as far reaching. Just got them in my pelvis/lower stomach area. How many weeks are you trix?

Could it be sciatica trix? I know that pain travels down legs, but don't know what to do about it.

hi loopy I'm 23+4. my pelvis is the worse part but my legs ache all the time. not sure what I should be doing.
keep are they working you too hard?

sparks my mw is on annual leave till the 1st, do I ring round all the others again and try to get a response or should I just try and get In at the docs?

thanks sparks i'll see how I get on doing all that 2mora. bit disappointed that the other mw hasn't rung me back yet actually. maybe I will try again, just don't want to nag and be a pain really cos their obviously busy.

Oh I'm not sure my last post came across right.

During labour itself I had more than just paracetamol. Had gas&air (which is amazing) and a shot of diamorphine. I was in hospital after for 2 days and only had a paracetamol on the Saturday.

Shouldn't there be another mw to cover? Maybe call the gp and ask who is covering if she's not given her phone to someone else. Do sparks advice but do get a referral as I assume it gets worse as you get further on.

Yes, today was a long day, but Mrk cooked, I have feet up, and wfh tomorrow.

We had our session on pain relief in labour last night at nct. I have to say we have both found the classes really useful. We are doing the nhs ones too soon, so I can compare. kitty I recommend her though if you're thinking of nct later. 6 days till your scan?

keep in my notes there's like 6 mw numbers, you just ring one of the others if yours isnt available. I phoned each twice all going straight to voice mail before leaving a random one of them a message saying I had aches and pains I wanted to talk about. guess I picked the wrong one!

I'm so excited about NCT. I've heard such good things about them. Ours was £150 too. Though it's over a weekend 10-4 both days

Not long to go for your scan now kitty how many weeks are you now?

I should really now roughly how far along everyone is considering how many times it's wrote up here but I just can't.

I got my letter today for my 20 week anomaly scan. It's on 20th November at 9am. I seriously think hospital is trying to kill me with the early starts. I'm just not sure what I'm going to do with ds as it says no children under 10.

I only went to one of my nhs classes. Which was the labour and pain relief one. It freaked me out but was very interesting at the same time.

nope maybe although I feel a bit better today, as in its not a pain that has me doubled over on the verge of tears. so I chickened put of phoning round again. I do have a doc app on Mon and mw on tues that have been booked a while anyway so hopefully one of them will sort me out.
managed any food today?

I'm good. Although really tired today. Couldn't sleep last night and ds was up like 4 times last night so I really could if done with a decent nights sleep. However Dp is away drinking and I'm stuck at mums for a while.

We went to look at a house today. Well, the land where the house will be. It's all very overwhelming. I think that's the hormones though!
