I have this m.newlook.com/mcs/publish/4923/76718?prodid=283496309&cat=cat10002&name=Womens coat. was in the mat section in the shop but don't think it really is maternity doesn't say so on the label anyway. I'd get a cheap one or a normal coat thats roomy. after getting the new look one found a swing coat from several years ago that was always too big which I think will work too. I've had that coat since Sept and have worn it loads. I think it depends as well how much wear you would get out of it.

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 08/11/2013 17:09

Loving all the clothes talk but I will just say about a proper maternity coat, I lived in mine! I didn't have to worry about being able to zip it up and it was comfortable too. It doesn't have to cost owt either, got mine off eBay for about £15, held on to it till a few weeks ago and sold it for £29.

Have you seen the jojo maman coats? They have removeable panels so you can use them post pregnancy or zip them up over a sling. Genius. Wish they had done them when I was pregnant as I would love a babywearing coat.

I had a stupidly large pg wardrobe seriously. Embarassingly so.

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 08/11/2013 17:17

Oh wish I had one of those Munxx have stopped wearing K levels as it's not comfy with my coat

Getting a bit worried about Kitty!!

Wow Boo that coat was a bargain! What is wrong with Kitty? have I missed something somewhere?

Munx will have to check that coat out, thanks.

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 08/11/2013 18:09

I don't think hope anythings wrong but I haven't seen her on here for what feels like weeks.

Solars · 08/11/2013 18:15

Boo I've seen her post on the Elderberries thread on the pregnancy boards before and I have just checked, she's still posting and ok I think.

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 08/11/2013 18:20

Phew! Glad she's ok. Thanks Solars :)

oh that's good i've been wondering too as it must be her 12 week scan already.

boo you are great to make money on a coat! Respect

GreenOlives · 08/11/2013 18:57

Just popping in to recommend the Braun thermometer too! Not needed much in the first 3 months or so (and a bit big for most baby's ears then too) But it's invaluable after that, wouldn't be without it for both my boys. Smile

TheLittleFriend · 08/11/2013 20:07

Hi brookers-with-bumps Grin

I've not posted for a while, but just saw on fb that sweetie is now on mat leave, so had to come back so I'm around for the twins arrival. Remind me when everyone is due?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 08/11/2013 20:30

I definitely can't do without a coat, as I will still be walking the pup. I've seen those coats Munx, they look lovely.

Really glad that Kitty is ok, I've been worrying too.

Glad you both had nice naps Sweetie and Keep!

Lovely to see you Little!

keepitgoing · 08/11/2013 22:25

Hi little! I'm due on the 29th, sweetie about a week later, then trix is mid Jan :)

ThedementedPenguin · 09/11/2013 11:32

I have the same coat as trix however I got the grey one in a bigger size so I have plenty of space for bump.

solars when ds was born we were bought a set of thermometers (sp?) from Braun. One us a dummy thermometer and the other a stick version which I use under arms. Which is very good.

Re: baby monitors we where given the angel care monitor with the breathing pad. We only used it for first few months and now just use it like a normal monitor.

Clothes wise, I've only bought one pair of maternity jeans. I have leggings and jeggings from last time so hopefully they will do me this time.

I've been feeling a bit bad recently, I'm really hating this pregnancy. Hate feeling so awful and looking awful. Just want it over with and have baby already but on the other hand this is probably my last pregnancy so I feel like I should be loving it.

cartoontrickster · 09/11/2013 12:27

hi little Smile .
pen I went through a stage of hating being pregnant and felt sooo bad about it. but sometimes its just not easy is it, must be harder when you have another child to deal with too.
I'm loving it now though even though I'm knackered, a bit sticky again and heart burn.
I had thought we didn't need a baby monitor but now you've all made me wonder.

keepitgoing · 09/11/2013 17:49

pen you're having a really tough pregnancy, of course you aren't loving it. It must be hard with such a little ds at the same time. But you're almost halfway now.

trix I don't think you'll need one at the start as treats will be with you day and night, it'd only be once you start putting them in another room. I think you cam prob get good value second hand, or the non video ones (what I would have chosen) aren't expensive. Of course they aren't really necessary, as my mum is always saying they never had one, just left the door open.

keepitgoing · 09/11/2013 17:58

Think waters just broke. Going to hosp....
