cartoontrickster · 22/10/2013 14:48

NoMaybeAboutIt · 22/10/2013 14:58

Ah, could well be Trix. I'm easily confused at the moment Halloween Wink

ScaryHalloweenName · 22/10/2013 15:09

Tis me, yes. I did put it in my hoveroverer thingamywatsit.

cartoontrickster · 22/10/2013 15:12

ah I looked to see if that person had posted on TTC and hoped that would give me a clue, which it did. Grin

keepitgoing · 22/10/2013 15:14

You're a sleuth, trix! :)

Stacks · 22/10/2013 16:43

I had a chat on fb and have a plan for the thyroid. It probably is a problem, and I probably will need drugs. So I'll phone the doc tomorrow morning for a same day appointment. It's a right pain to do, but I'll have to do it. I also spoke to the midwife team, who have me the booking in details so I'll do that tomorrow too. Also phoned for my flu jab, and the epu to book in an early scan (on 4th Nov).

DS is showing his temper, frustration and boredom today so I'll post again when he's in bed. Oh, he's also leart to climb the stairs..

cartoontrickster · 22/10/2013 16:50

wow you've been busy stacks glad youll be all sorted soon though.

SweetieTime · 23/10/2013 08:48

I might have made a sleep related break through. For many weeks now I have struggled to sleep, very restless, unable to get comfy etc. Well for the last week or so I have had much better sleep, I have still needed to get up a couple of times to use loo but settled back down straight away. Last night I was back to restless sleep and unable to settle. Then I realised I had taken my pregncare before going to bed. I had run out and only got some more yesterday so the week when I was having good sleep I wasn't taking the pregnacare. I am sure there must be a link, Maybe you are a proper scientist what do you think???

NoMaybeAboutIt · 23/10/2013 09:05

Ooh, I'm not sure Sweetie. Technically I wouldn't have thought there is anything in them to keep you awake as such. I've ways taken mine before bed too, and haven't had any trouble sleeping. But maybe your body just processes them differently . Definitely go back to taking them in the morning though if you feel that helps.

Hope you managed to get your appointment sorted Stacks. Let is know how you get on.

Where is Solars? And you too Boo?

Solars · 23/10/2013 12:30

I'm here Maybe just been a little busy, the first half of the week is always busy for me, but have been reading a little when I can but then no time to post pesky phone keeps ringing However today I am still in my pjs! I had an awful nights sleep waking up at 4am and then not being able to get back to sleep so have been walking around reading my pregnany books until MrS got up to go to work and put me back to bed. I then managed to get a couple of hours sleep thankfully but I'm still lounging around in my pjs and luckily it's a lot quieter today. I think I got myself a little stressed out about the birth last night. I had my yoga class and she was giving us ideas of different birthing positions which freaked me out a bit!

Sweetie I hope by taking your pills in the morning helps with your sleep, poor you suffering with your sleep.

Stacks hope you get your appointment and meds sorted.

Keep not long to go at all with work now. Sorry to hear you've been suffering with bh and back pain too, any news of your referral?

Hope you're enjoying working from home Maybe

I hope everyone else is doing well. Where is everyone with scans and midwife appointments? I have a midwife appointment next week.

I'm really looking forward to going to the baby show on Friday, I'm taking a notebook and pen so I can show MrS all the things we need!!!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 23/10/2013 14:25

Glad you're ok Solars. You'll have a great time at the show, enjoy Halloween Smile

Sorry to hear notsotoddlyboo is poorly Booooooo. Well done booby though!! What's her favourite so far?

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooo · 23/10/2013 14:52

Maybe she loves most things we have given her (except broccoli), she is having a mix of puree food and a bit of BLW and she has nommed everything. Her faves so far are grapes and banana, but she also loves carrot batons and baby sweetcorn Halloween Smile she is such a good 'un!

Have a fab time at the show Solars, sorry to hear you had a bad night. Don't worry about the birth too much, you're a brooker so twill be nowt more that a little sneeze Halloween Wink

SweetieTime · 23/10/2013 15:10

Boo we have missed you. Loving that K is enjoying her vedg so much, long may it continue. Do not give her KFC, it is not a good idea.
How long until you are back in action with your phone?

Solars enjoy the baby show, I am sure there will be loads of fun must have products. Are you going it alone? Might be a very wise move.
I suffer from the sleep issue, I just think it is a preggo thing until I discovered my pregnacare link. I will monitor the situation and report back with findings.

Well I have had an eventful morning, I went for my flu and whooping cough jabs. While in with the nurse I mentioned my feet which in the last 24 hours have tripled in size, I nearly had to go out in my slippers as no shoes will fit. She told me I needed to see Dr urgently so I was whisked in to see Dr. I had to have my blood pressure monitored 4 times!!! and pee in a test tube I think they have hidden cameras to film this to laugh at lack of preggo co-ordination I then had to wait back in waiting room while all the patients I had queue jumped in front of glared at me while Dr rang the hospital. They are worried I might have pre-eclampsia so I have to go back again tomorrow but if I get headache, blurred vision or start being sick I have to go straight to hospital. I feel fine so think they are just being over cautious but better that way then not.

Solars · 23/10/2013 16:17

What a good girl boooby is with her veg Boo

Wow Sweetie that must have been a little scary to say the least, brooking all is in fact well. It's good they're making sure though. I am meeting a fellow argy cycler at the baby show, we have another busy weekend so the weekend was out for us and MrS is working Friday.

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooo · 23/10/2013 16:28

Sweetie you go steady with the rugby tackle in your condition Halloween Grin How are you feeling now? Good job you mentioned the swelling, though I'm sure the worry will do nothing for your BP! I hope it turns out to be nothing, but make sure you take their advice and tell them straight away if anything changes. I should have my phone back next week :(

Booooby is a good girl indeed, shame she won't be told that her socks don't make a good nomming snack Halloween Grin No KFC you say Sweetie course not Halloween Wink

NoMaybeAboutIt · 23/10/2013 16:50

Oh Sweetie lovely, you poor thing. What an eventful day. What time are you back in tomorrow?

Booby knows where it's at. Boo, I too hate broccoli Halloween Wink

Glad you aren't going alone Solars!

Stacks · 23/10/2013 18:51

Oh Sweetie I hope everything is ok, though it really is best that they're checking. Fingers crossed all will be good tomorrow.

Boo T also doesn't like broccoli. Someone told me it's quite a distinctive flavour and takes time to get used to. Also they need to taste something some number of times (12?) before they can know they like it. No idea where the number comes from, which is why I can never remember it and make it up each time. Still, keep trying her on it.

Maybe how are you today?

I went to see the dr, got the scary one, but persisted and got some meds. He's referred me onto the midwives, and maybe the consultant. I'm not sure, but he said to just ignore it all till my appointment (he wasn't going to give me any meds till my booking in either, but I did the old "my friend said..."). I'm all good though, still not too much nausea, though I've noticed my hips ache really badly doing the walks I've been doing for months with him. I'm going to ignore it and hope its nothing, best plan right?

SweetieTime · 23/10/2013 19:30

Stacks did you get the meds or do you have to wait for the referral? Hope the hip pain eases soon.

I have to go back at 9.30 in the morning for my blood pressure measuring. Feet have not gone down at all. I am not sure what i can do to help as I have had my feet up and then done bits of walking. Am drinking loads of water too -any other tips?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 23/10/2013 19:54

Sweetie, are they up high enough? To get swelling down, ideally they should be above your heart. Maybe a cold foot bath and a bit of light massage?

Stacks what a mission!! Did they say when your next appointment would be?

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooo · 23/10/2013 20:20

^^^ What Maybe said, get them feet right up quite high! Have they not gone down at all?

keepitgoing · 23/10/2013 21:23

Now sweetie no queue jumping ;) What a scary day, am brooking its nothing of the sort, and feet are just fat x

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooo · 24/10/2013 07:24

morning ladies Halloween Smile hope you're all ok this morning and you all got some sleep last night.

Sweetie how are you this morning? I do hope your feet are better!

keepitgoing · 24/10/2013 09:23

morning everyone - time for a proper catch up. Yesterday was another busy day at work...

sweetie I really hope that it all goes well at the hospital today. Do let us know how you get on. You are over 30 weeks now, so every day those twins are inside they are getting stronger x

maybe how's your work going? Have you had to go in at all yet? Are you managing full days or do you just need to keep resting?

stacks well done on sorting out your GP and getting what you need. Is the ectopic risk because you only have one tube then? I hope your hips don't get worse, gosh that's early to have hip pain. Brooking it's unrelated to pregnancy...

boo i must disagree with booby - i am currently obsessed with brocolli. And oranges. And apples. Could be worse I suppose, but i think you go OD on fruit...

I've still not heard from the physio. But i do think by back is a little better. I suspect having a proper bed isn't doing any harm... It'd still be good to go though, as apparently it doesn't necesarily right itself after birth esp if you BF. My BH seem to have eased off as well :) so all is looking good. 7 more days of work, including today. come ON!!
