I bloody hated 50 shades of grey so Im gutted the Charlie Hunnam is playing the role. I take it you don't watch Sons of Anarchy Smile

moominleigh94 · 26/09/2013 21:17

I didn't even read 50 Shades Of Grey. Read the first review and thought "nope".

mumof2aimingfor4 · 26/09/2013 21:17

No I don't, he was the guy in queer as folk right?

Cybercat · 26/09/2013 21:19

He was but he got buff since then! Saying that I am a sucker for long hair & facial fluff!

mumof2aimingfor4 · 26/09/2013 21:23

Haha, im the opposite! His face fluff is what I didn't like, lol

Cybercat · 26/09/2013 21:28

Heh heh, what I wouldn't do to Dave Grohl!

mumof2aimingfor4 · 26/09/2013 21:41

.....I like his voice. Foo fighters are good

Cupcake1985 · 26/09/2013 21:43

I'm with the not keen people- tried to read it but didn't get far before I threw it away and went back to my normal books. Five weeks and a day.... Why has time slowed down so much since I got my bfp! Impatient!

MammySam · 26/09/2013 21:50

Hello, may. Join in?! I've added myself to the list! I'm due on 20/05/2014 according to my dates but I've been having sme pains etc so I've been going to EPAU for a couple of weeks and my scan yesterday showed just a small sac (no yolk or Hb) so I might be more like 5 wks. Also hcg levels not doubling so fingers crossed i get to remain in this group!
:)

mumof2aimingfor4 · 26/09/2013 21:52

Fingrrs are crossed for you Sam

MammySam · 26/09/2013 21:55

Thank you :)
X

Cybercat · 26/09/2013 22:10

Fingers crossed for you MammySam and welcome Smile

AliOh · 26/09/2013 22:41

Sorry mumof2 have to disagree - I think they should of cast Ian Somerhalder (any other TVD fans here?) as Christian Grey - he would of been perfect. I did read the books and persevered through all 3, I didn't like them much to be honest, it doesn't happen often but I think the film will be much better.

Welcome Sam :) and fx all is well for you

dobedobedo · 27/09/2013 05:03

Sorry to interrupt your 50 shades chat Grin but can I join in? I was over on the April thread but after a dating scan yesterday which put me at 7+4 and NOT 13+1 as my lmp did, I think it's best to migrate!

This is baby number 2 for me. My first baby is 8 years old, so quite a gap!
Pleased to meet you Smile

mumof2aimingfor4 · 27/09/2013 06:35

AliOh I love TVD and Ian Somerhalder (swoon)! Its back on next month, the waiting is driving me nuts!

Welcome dobedobedo your just over a week ahead of me. Have you added yourself to the Mabies stats page?

mumof2aimingfor4 · 27/09/2013 06:38

AliOh have you seen that the states are getting a spin off of the TVD? Called The Originals (based in New Orleans and follows Claus and his family) but ITV have said they wont be airing it over here! :(

thistlelicker · 27/09/2013 07:15

Omg!!!! Woke up with a metallic taste in mouth!!!

AliOh · 27/09/2013 07:47

Yes was reading about that last night mumof2 I have Apple TV so will get to watch the spin off :D plus will be able to watch TVD As soon as it airs in America usually a couple of weeks earlier than UK :) I'm counting down to 3rd Oct :) (very sad I know!)

Hi dobedo and welcome to the Maybies :)

Keep wondering if I'll get that thistle does it make you feel more pregnant hehe :)

BroodyTroody · 27/09/2013 07:52

I thought it should have been Ian Somerhalder (sp?!) or Henry Cavill from the Tudors!
I enjoyed the books, but worried to film will be like watching a porn film haha!
Welcome to all the new ladies! Thanks

mumof2aimingfor4 · 27/09/2013 08:02

AliOh how do I get Apple Tv?!!!

thistlelicker · 27/09/2013 08:06

I've had to drink a can of irn bru to help take away the taste!!! Result !!!!! Still doesn't feel real!!!

8+3

AliOh · 27/09/2013 08:09

mumof2 they are quite expensive, we bought ours off eBay and it's jailbroken (naughty naughty) it streams tv and films from the internet through your tv, so you get all the latest film releases (sometimes before they're out in the cinema) tv shows and live sport streams too. We don't have normal tv in our house no digi box or anything so it's worth it for us :) you can buy them un-jailbroken from apple but you have to pay for the apps then I think

AliOh · 27/09/2013 08:11

Broody I agree but with such a big release film surely it will be tastefully (?!) done, it has to be better than the books, they were very badly written lol

mumof2aimingfor4 · 27/09/2013 08:11

Thank you :) may have to talk oh so nto investing in one for my early xmas pressie!

AliOh · 27/09/2013 08:19

Definitely worth it! I wouldn't be without mine :) not that I'll get an awful lot of time to watch it after baby arrives I imagine!
