Oh no nanny thats a shame. My nan once said to me that you love your kids but you fall in love with your grand kids! It always puts a smile on my face, she passed away last year and when I went for a tarot reading (think of me what you will) the reader said your nan is here and says you should expect a son. I found out I wad pregnant two days later.

ThePFJ · 26/09/2013 18:19

mumof2 I do tarot birth reading workshops a few times a year at pagan/alternative festivals. No shame there honey!!

Tomorrow is going to be great hobbjobb Grin for you!

My MW just rang me 10 mins ago to ask me how my 7 week scan went.................... awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Happy me!

mumof2aimingfor4 · 26/09/2013 18:30

PFJ brilliant! My OH took the piddle out of me when I said where I was going and funnily enough the reader told me that he holds me back spiritually! Im very open minded and find paganism very interesting. I wanted a handfasting alongside our civil wedding but he doesnt want to.

Cybercat · 26/09/2013 18:30

NannyPlum You are right about the bump being a PITA at 40 weeks, Im sure I will bitch and moan but I can't wait to actually look pregnant!

Anyone else moisturising their bellies every day at the moment in the vain hope of avoiding stretchmarks?

mumof2aimingfor4 · 26/09/2013 18:32

cyber that bio oil was being slapped on from the day I came off the pill!

mumof2aimingfor4 · 26/09/2013 18:34

Dont just do bellies though, I didn't put on a huge amount of weight with DC but wished I had put some on the tops of my thighs aswell.

moominleigh94 · 26/09/2013 19:20

Thanks to the way my scar works I already have stretch marks there... my tattoo distracts the attention when I do wear a bikini thankfully Grin... so I figured what's a hundred more, eh?

I probably will start cocoa buttering.

With regards to tarot cards, a couple of months ago I had insurance-provided CBT after a car crash and the woman also did tarot cards and angel cards, and she did the angel cards, and the one I picked was the "Children" card. I assumed it was to do with the fact that I want to be a teacher (or a police officer, but I digress) but now I'm thinking... bloody hell those are good Grin

MasterFlea · 26/09/2013 19:21

Cyber thanks for the reminder. I didn't get any with the first two so Im probably going to get away with it this time too but no harm in keeping moisturised. I used the body shop butter.

But then there is a theory that older mums aren't as susceptible to getting them. Not proven though. I have marks from growing spurts as a teen so was surprised i never got any in pregnancy.

Cybercat · 26/09/2013 19:35

I will be classed as an older mum so heres hoping! I need to do the tops of my legs too - I have been doing hips and back though.

BoogiesBunny · 26/09/2013 19:39

cyber I've been using mama mio stretch mark cream about every other day but will think I'll ramp it up as this morning my jeans had no hope of meeting so I am getting bigg - good reminder on the thighs too mumof2. I just ordered some boob firming cream from mama mio too as I know my boobs will get HUGE and I'm already 30G.

I had salt and vinegar crisps for dinner - I've been thinking about them for a few days. Usually I come home starving but just not interested in a meal. Very contented here - but know it's not normal!

McBaby · 26/09/2013 19:44

I smothered on cream for the whole nine months and thought I can got away with it but they apprehend just after she was born.

I put on 4.5 stone lost 2 tone day I gave birth 1.5 over next 2 weeks and by six months post birth I was a stone less than pre pregnancy. The wonders of breastfeeding. I am wondering if the massive weight gain contributed to my stretch marks. I looked full term by 26 weeks!

mumof2aimingfor4 · 26/09/2013 19:45

Oh bunny so jealous of your G cups! I used to be a 32F before I had babies then they just got sucked away!

BoogiesBunny · 26/09/2013 19:47

Oh mumof2 that's so sad - I don't want to lose mine :-(

moominleigh94 · 26/09/2013 19:49

Boogies I'm already in maternity jeans. Needed new jeans anyway so figured I'd get some that I could wear throughout pregnancy, good grief they're comfy Grin

mumof2aimingfor4 · 26/09/2013 19:54

Careful moomin those maternity jeans build a relationship with the wearer! I was devastated when I lost my baby weight and no longer had the excuse to wear them anymore!

mumof2aimingfor4 · 26/09/2013 19:56

bunny OH has agreed that i can get a boob job after ive finished having babies. I know its not the best solution but I did love my bust!

ThePFJ · 26/09/2013 20:10

mumof2 We were handfasted in August this year. Under the sacred oak and we jumped over the fire. After years of not getting pregnant and mc's before that we got pregnant straight after we did it... the fire jump is for fertility..... It was incredible and everyone who went cried their eyes out..... I'll come up and see you and drag your DH into it Wink
Can't wait to do a birth reading for bump.... xxx

mumof2aimingfor4 · 26/09/2013 20:25

PFJ your handfadting sounds very moving, we're getting married in August 2015! The silly thing is he should naturally be spiritual as he was born on the 21st of June! Im really pleased the fire jump worked :)

ThePFJ · 26/09/2013 20:33

Congratulations!! Where are you getting married? Have you got a dress picked out???! Grin

mumof2aimingfor4 · 26/09/2013 20:39

Thank you :) wer're getting married in Lulworth Castle in Dorset. I have an idea of dress design I like (fishtail) but I will have to have one made I think as I want it wine red.

moominleigh94 · 26/09/2013 20:50

Seen pics of Lulworth castle and been nearby but never visited, it looks gorgeous! Congrats :)

mumof2aimingfor4 · 26/09/2013 20:57

Thank you moomin glad he finally got round to asking me, should drag him down the aisle quicker though as hes got a bit of a Channing Tatum thing going on!

mumof2aimingfor4 · 26/09/2013 21:00

On the subject of Channing Tatum he should so have been cast for Christian Grey! Have you seen the runt playing the part, eurgh!
